ooc: no. If you have a bigger army, it does not guarantee your victory.

You also aren't in Greece since its city is under my siege. So your transportation planes (and other ones) can easily be shot down.

IC:
The Spanish forces advance further into bulgaria and albania building fortresses around major cities. Many obstacles and trenches are being dug and mines put in order to stop any aggressors from the north.

Greece
The Gen. Roberto Alvarez was watching news. His country was preparing for an election. The current monarch decided to retire and his sons are now competing for the throne. After finishing with his tea, he got up and started addressing his men:
"Oh my brethren! Do not fear ye! They might have more men, they might have more resources but they do not guarantee a victory. Increase in your prayers and ask our Merciful Lord for help with a full trust! Be patient and do not flee from the battlefield. I have a feeling they are preparing an operation but we have faith and we shall stand 'til the end. Our allies are still with us and united we stand! Do not fear death!"
After the speech, the men were cheering. They had hope.

OOC: Fine, but my forces are coming from the nearest Greek town, and besieging the biggest/nearest city in the vicinity. Do you hold Athens. or Corinth, or both?

Bulgaria
With their country under siege the Bulgarian goverment was faced with two options , one surrender to the spanish and watch as their is torn apart by protests , and two join the Justinian horde and watch as their country is slowly torn apart by invading forces . The goverment chose the second option sending all of its 70.000 troops to Constantinople .

Constantinople

220.000 Justinian troops, 70.000 bulgarian troops 300.000 Schwarzan Troops , and 450.000 Fengese troops had gathered in the city to prepare for Operation Green Mercury , the largest operation of its kind in since ww2 .
Soon planes from all three nations would be used to bomb enemies anti-air defenses while the groundtroops wiped out the enemy troops dending the anti-air defendses.
For the emperor of the Justinian Horde it was clear that if operation Green Mercury failed his country would be doomed , however he also knew that if it succeeded the war was as good as won .

OOC: i dont hold corinth

IC: The day was very sunny and the soldiers were enjoying the Mediterranean breeze. Justinians were nowhere to be found so the troops were chill and preparing more defenses and training themselves in case the Justinians were to attack. The General was walking around and enjoying the view of the conquered land.
"Thanks are to God who has granted us all of it!"
"Indeed." said the leutenant, "The bulgarian ran to Istanbul and it will be easy to conquer the land."
"The Justinians have lost their morale. We just push through and the vicotry will be ours if God wills."

With all the Bulgarian troops gone to Istanbul, the Spaniards proceeded with the land grab with no resistance from the locals. Istanbul was very close and the General was imagining having breakfast in the Dolmabahce palace.

Drums ,
Drums ,
The sound of drums heard accross the radio was the only warning the Spanish got before the sky went black with Justinian, Feng and Schwarzan bombers dropping bombs on the Spanish positions , while the roar of tanks the howl of artillery , and the pelting of bullets shattered the silence of the once promise filled mediteranean morning .
All of the Justinian Soldiers bore their clan emblem on a bullet proof shield and the hilt of a blade they carried if they were forced to fight at close range , and yet the enraged look they bore on their faces made it clear that fighting at close range was exactly what they desired .
Each soldier fired whatever they had at the enemy till they ran out of bullets , they ran to the enemy and fought with theith their blades , and should they be on the verge of death each soldier hurled five hand granades at the enemy .
The morality of the soldiers fighting in operation Green Mercury was not broken , no far from it , to the spanish it seemed as though the war had increased , enhanced , and intensified it .
At the sight of the Justinian war flags the Bulgarians that had not fled decided to grab whatever knives they had and help those that come to free them from the spanish invaders , either by cooking food or stabbing enemy troops.
The carnage that occured that day was a bloodstained message to the , a simple message that they would never give up , they would never surrender and their spirit would never be broken .

The alarms went off. The soldiers started running around trying to pick their guns up. The attack was surprising.
"Gather up, brothers!" said the general. "Mount those cannons, fast!"
The cannons were targeting the planes while the soldiers were trying to hide from the rockets falling from above.
"Do not give up! God is with us!" shouted the colonel as the soldiers were returning fire. Mortars and artillery were in heavy use. However, the trenches served them good. The field was filled with battle cries.

The soldiers were shooting at the enemy from fox holes.

Most of the spanish soldiers were still gathering their weapons when they felt the hot metal of raining bullets , and the cold steel of swords and knives pierce their soon lifeless bodies .
The spanish cannons aimed at the sky were torn apart by bullets fired by Justinian tanks .
"TARGET THE PILLBOXES WITH FOCUSED BLASTS!" The lion General ordered the Jusinian bombers who switched to bombs designed to pierce through the structures .
Soon even the once safety of the trenches was gone as Justinian artilery fired low yield missiles at them .

Carnage made by thermobaric rockets, burnt those who were out of trenches. Schwarzan forces continued as planned, slowed down by pillboxes soon destroyed by artillery and concrete piercing tank rounds.

The ride to the Impirial Hall of Peace took them past various Synagoges , Mosques , Churches , and Buddhist temples , though for Obvious reasons the Hagai Sophia , the Ghenghis Khan Imperial Mosque , and various other famous landmarks were not driven past . However even before he had entered the city he had gotten a glimps of the cities most famous land mark The Seven Walls of Constantinople during his flight there .

Constantinople
The French ambasiter has arrived in the city. on his trip to were the meeting will take place, he saw the many sights of the city, and thought to himself, "Constantinople, the unconquerable city." this was truly an honor he thought he never experience. "well, there are some perks to this job." he thought to him self, but he knew he had a job to do, he had to help mediate this conference, and get his country's soon to be ally Israel.

Balkans
The Spaniards were holding the ground. The machine gunners were seeking out every enemy they could and unleashed a barrage of bullets on them. The fighter jets were dropping bombs on the enemy armies. Some of the frontline soldiers resorted to hand-to-hand combaty utilizing their knives and rifles

The French ambassador was greeted by an impirial chauffeur who told him that a tour would be arranged once the meeting was over
