Speaking of coming back, I think it's time I floated a thread idea.

STAR WARS
Assault of the Clones

It is a time of great uncertainty. With the demise of the Galactic Assembly, a myriad of worlds are scattered and left to fend for themselves. A new type of warlord has risen, the CLONE MASTER.

Aided by cabals of DARK JEDI, these bio-terrorists strike without warning across the galaxy, demanding enormous quantities of tribute, or even the surrender of whole worlds with the threat of cruel biological weapons and relentless clone armies.

Foremost among these is the sinister giant, ATHA PRIME. Striking from a hidden base with a clone army led by the fearsome NUMA XUX, he prepares to lay waste to the border world of Antooine…

Q&A

Q. What is it?
A. A limited scope RP based on the idea of the Clone Wars as presented in the Thrawn Trilogy, or at least similar. Much like Dying Dawn it will involve a lot of people, but it won’t be quite as destructive of major sites like Dawn is.

Q. How are these guys a threat to my imperious legions?
A. They’re not, at least not initially, going to be threatening any major players, instead they’re seeking to hoover up resources from independent/unclaimed worlds, and will be making a push against some NPC areas. That said, folks can certainly volunteer worlds to be raided – or conquered, when the peril steps up a little.
Q. What’s the deal then?
A. It’s primarily a story about the efforts of anti-piracy groups to combat this new menace, track them down to their hidden lairs, and put an end to them. It’s particularly relevant for Jedi characters, if anyone but me has them.

Initially this should be an anti-piracy and investigation thread, and later on the gloves can come off and the Clone Masters (or perhaps only some of them, good villains never completely die) can be engaged in mass fleet engagement.

People RPing victims of attacks or others in the way of the Clone Masters and their sinister agenda would also be great.

Q. Are the Clone Masters affiliated with the C’tani.
A. Nope, they’re an NPC faction – naturally I welcome anyone else wanting to play Clone Masters.

Q. Are these Kaminoan Clones?
A. Not at all, they are based on ideas and artwork that was floating around in the Star Wars EU before the prequels came out; they are good soldiers (of course) but also prone to madness, and their equipment is provided by massive workshops in wild space, the unknown regions, or wherever they end up coming from. They may have something similar to a Star Forge (though not as fancy) to handwave where their war materiel comes from, if that’s approved by the community.

Q. Where are they?
A. Honestly don't know, at least, not yet. Likely starting in the outer rim but the geography of the menace is up in the air.

So, what do people think? Anyone interested? I shall be on slack later tonight.

Sounds fun. I kind of fluid-timed some major events to happen. The Thrashian Empire has, officially, left the building. In the post Chaos War era, the Thrashian Empire withdraws further and further into itself, until it disappears. A break-away state, the Greater Seswenna, led by the indomitable Grand Moff Tarkin, is all that remains to carry on the ideals of the Thrashian Empire within the SWG. Rest of my folk high-tailed it through our extragalactic hypergate and are moving into the MWG.

In the post Chaos War era, the Thrashian Empire withdraws further and further into itself, until it disappears. A break-away state, the Greater Seswenna, led by the indomitable Grand Moff Tarkin, is all that remains to carry on the ideals of the Thrashian Empire within the SWG. Rest of my folk high-tailed it through our extragalactic hypergate and are moving into the MWG.

What holdings does Greater Seswenna control/rule over? How much of a reduced state is it?
