3 posts, but in the future I'd like to see some actual fighting in cities and urban areas in Menthi. I really want to RP lining up communists and uhh... shooting them in the city.

I'd also like to RP some urban combat with actually RPing cover and moving throughout the city, which would be a long post for me.. but I think I could pull it off.

I'd love some more naval combat personally. As in ship on ship. My subs haven't had a chance to surprise an unsuspecting fleet yet.

I'd like to combat with you if it were a misunderstanding but I don't know how ships work.

If it goes in your favour, we could possibly end up being allies against Parsoh, then we'd need to do naval combat. I'll try to teach you how ships work if we get that far, although I'm guessing Caracus would be better at giving you tips.

Anyone posting soon? I'd really love just to put down the part I missed in my first part (which before you say, I don't feel I can edit it on the end of my old post, it would be too much I feel). I really think this part two if you can call it that would really add a new element to the RP that people can interact with.

I google military conflicts as and when I need to and make it up from there! My knowledge of naval warfare is lacking in many places.....

I'm pretty sure at least one of the cities may well get involved in such an event.

There are co-operative housing blocks, maintained by the Soviet - though there are plenty of empty houses - these would be without power. Food is largely Caracasusian - think chillis, plenty of spice, noodles, rice and maybe a little meat.

How can we get one of those blocks? Where would abandoned houses be?

Is there freedom of speech?

If you want a place in one of the blocks, you need to work for it. This could be clearing out rubble, stacking raw materials or something else. If you're incapable of work, you'd get shelter and food in the less glamorous areas.

Abandoned buildings are on the outskirts. There is freedom of speech to an extent, bear in mind that there is little governance or capability to enforce much beyond organizing labour and security. Deriding communism and what they're doing in Karthos won't get you a warm welcome, and if it persisted your characters might find themselves beaten up.

The Soviet has been in operation for a week or two - there's group meetings where people discuss stuff, and there's an expectation of solidarity. If you turned up to one of their meatings and said "so - how about Capitalism? I hear that's awesome" - you might get kicked out. It's very rough and ready at the moment. Power structures need time to come into effect.

Depends - sabotage would be relatively easy for trained agents - you're not dealing with trained professional soldiers after all. What were you thinking of doing?

The first two are highly visible. It depends how cleaver you are about it. Sure you want to kill people? They're going to suspect the strangers who just turned up handing out "Yay Capitalism!" leaflets.

Yep! Looks good, though the provisional government clearly disagrees with some stuff. Thing is, there is already considerable amounts of aid going to Menthi from Caracasus - and that's been the case since before the invasion - so yeah it'd be partly distribution (why go to the effort of lugging it all the way to Caracasus?) Clearly it'd be supplemented as well though with your own supplies.

Case in point, helping hands will not play around with security. No matter how many moving and re-settle posts I have to type.

The radicals have more reason to see you as occupants if you are armed.

Those that already see it as such have no problem seeing them as halpless foreigners without any security either, easy to kidnap or murder. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

you could always ask if Menthi can protect these camps with the help of your weaponry and experts.

They were going to deport camp specialists and steal gear worth thousands, then they were going to forcefully alter the camp and show no respect towards the privacy of camp personnel and occupants. In their telegrams, they gave no assurance or alternatives towards security which immediately implies none. They played with it, they lost it.
