Yeah, here's what I'd suggest in terms of balance: The Namiens knew about inciting the revolution for a while, so they've moved a large force into the area. Compensating for that, most of the advanced military equipment like aircraft and heavy artillery are in the hands of the pro-government forces. All of the other nations (on both sides) have small flotillas or fleets that happened to be in the area (maybe around the 3-5 billion dollar cost range)

If you want to do something special, that's cool. Let's just establish roughly what people are bringing at the outset so that the sides are balanced.

Yeah, 3-5 billion is low. I probably really meant more like the 10 billion dollar price range (really, it's whatever your country would happen to have in the area). Either way, though, you'd have a larger fleet there because you were planning for this in advance.

If you're just talking about the plotline preceding the war, DeN summed it up pretty concisely:

2015: The nation of Seraven is wavering on the brink of collapse. Millions live in poverty and hardship but are unable to speak up under the rule of the oppressive regime, and though the people fear the government, it is actually weak and corrupt, and only reflects the interests of foreign corporations that have flocked to the nation for resources and cheap labor, all of which are only a few bribes away.

January 1st, 2016: The government holds a massive celebration in the capital, pronouncing the economy's success in the past year and hope in the future. The crowds cheer at the speeches and military parades, knowing that to do anything else would be suicide. The elderly president is happy. He believes his people are hopeful once again, although in reality the hollow pageantry does nothing to excite most people.

January 8th, 2016: The president decides that more celebrations are what's needed to bolster the nation's morale. Maybe if people feel hopeful they will work harder, spend more, raise economic well being for everyone. Maybe a bit more patriotism would even weed out some of the seedier groups in his government. He announces that an international military expo will be held in two months to celebrate the strength of the nation.

March 14th, 2016: The expo opens with much fanfare, despite minor problems setting it back a week. Delegations from other governments and defense companies are present, both viewing and presenting their new developments. Performances are conducted by the Seravien Navy, Air Force, and Army. Less people than expected can afford to travel to the expo, but the president's advisers tell him is is an astounding success. The expo is being held at Nova's Castle.

March 15th, 2016: Reading about the expo in magazines, or hearing of it on the radio, most people are disgusted by the frivolity of it. To them, the government is wasting money on lavish affairs to please international business again, and they don't even have the decency to try and hide it anymore.

March 16, 2016: Tensions rise in the state as a prominent Colonel announces that he sides with a party known as the Socialist Liberators. The party's military captures Nova Castle at 1700, and information is leaked about a hostage situation, and plans for assassinating the president.

March 16, 2016, 1800: A nearby Namenian infantry company is deployed to the castle to retake it. Contact lost at 1930. Status unknown.

March 17, 2016, 0000: A special forces task force composed of Namenian and other coalition forces is deployed to Nova Castle to retake the castle, rescue the hostages, and guard the President.

0030: The Namenian special forces are tasked with the defense of the President, and enter his room to guard him from the revolutionaries.

0100: The Special Forces Task Force nears Nova Castle, and is almost inside when a flare is popped into the air. The surrounding area is immediately filled with tracers.

0130: The Namenian Special Forces is "assaulted" at the President's place by his guards, and the President dies in the fighting.

0145: A company of infantry ambushes the Task Force and open fires on anything that moves. Heavy casualties are sustained, and the men are forced to retreat.

0200: The Task Force retreats and escapes the island, with the Namenian force unknown.

March 17, 2016, 1000: The president is announced dead, killed by his guards in the middle of the night. Nova Castle remains in Revolutionary hands.

1300: The revolutionary forces announce the inclusion of foreign powers on their land, stating that "If the outside world wishes to meddle in our affairs, then they can face the consequences!"

1330: The Capitol building falls to a company of infantrymen

March 18, 2016: DEN announces its support for the Revolution, although it condemns the assassination. They further condemn the involvement of foreign powers, and announce that because of this, soldiers will be sent over to the nation.

March 19, 2016: The first Namenian soldiers on the island identify the bodies as those of (insert nations here), and publicly announces them. That same day, the first city is attacked by the Namenian Army.

Should we start setting up our ORBATs about now? (I don't think there's much else left to do before the war).

Im unsure whether the bodies are friendly or hostile, to me that last part doesn't make sense. And yeah, sorry for posting after each other, shoulda edited the first post. Is the Namian Army hostile and supporting the revoultionists? Or did I read it wrong.

Ok thanks for the Clarification, so what i wrote is ok the Nameiam army is hostile and supporting the rebelion. What about the bodies though, I still dont understand that part.
