COUNTER-OFFENSIVE IN ONTARIO

Kanada's Army, in coordination with partisans, have launched a heavy counter attack on Toronto. Toronto is the home of the only New Canadian Tank Factory. Using standard 75mm artillery pieces plus several captured FCM 21 designs and a few imported Fiat 3000s, the attack began at midnight. The artillery began the attack, and battered Toronto's defenses, with the New Canadians being surprised that they were fighting against their own designs. This shock allowed for the outskirts and the initial defenses of the city to be taken easily. The New Canadians are terribly outnumbered, nearly 15,000 Kanada Regular Soldiers and over 50,000 Partisans are fighting their puny amount of forces.

While this was happening, pro-Kanada partisans attacked the supply lines of the city, blockading them and cutting off any military rail-liners or vehicles from entering in. We hope that this will make the New Canadians do the rational decision and fully surrender.

[Curraleigh]

Curraleighian officials have pass a vote to expand boarders to the NW of Pakistan, Curraleigh soon after the bill had been signed, mobilized 2 million men, 150,000 Heavy Arty guns, 30 Experimentally planes along with 10 experimentally tanks. Their first assault will be on the Afghanistan broader. Full mobile warfare, storming major cities and minor villages, the army main goal is to capture the country within a course of three months or less. The army is being lead by General. Joseph 'Lighting Joe' Collins, he is also renown as a stagiest during the Ajdu III downfall. Knowing the countries will fight against the Republic in the name of Adju III will make the task harder to complete but we're hoping that the people of these countries can see that joining the newly founded Republic will not bring them down but lift them into a new era of freedom and power.

Following Helensted's introduction to the global stage, the Republic has signed two Technological Alliances.
Helensted is technological allies with Asleau and Prussia, but but technology from Asleau will not be shared with Prussia (vice versa on request of Asleau).
Helensted has created the "Fusil Automatique Modèle 1918" rifle. The Fusil Automatique Modèle 1917 Will be the standard rifle of the Helenstedian Patriotic Army, and is in every way better than its competition. The Fusil Automatique Modèle 1918 isn't being shared with Helensted's allies, only Prussia. (Based off the French Fusil Automatique Modèle 1918).

The Invasion of Alaska

In the endless bid to obtain more oil supplies and due to lobbying by the mighty Exxon Mobil and Chevron, the army has commenced a landing at Alaska, an icy, depopulated, and mostly abandoned land.

After a massive naval and aerial bombardment, a large division of about 15,000 landed in Anchorage, the largest city, and faced only moderate resistance. Around 4,000 locals took up arms, but had poor equipment and poor weaponry, and thus their initial coastal defense were overrun. Most of the locals were taken to prisoner of war camps or they killed themselves. Anchorage was easily secured.

Another landing took place at Juneau, another port city. This one was a bit more complicated, and rough seas took a heavy damage on several of the Clemson class Destroyers deployed. The landing force continued, and again met only disorderly resistance by the local Alaskan tribes and Eskimos. Various Eskimos tried to launch spears at the metal ships, but, they could not aim at them or penetrate them. And thus, they were mowed down by machine gun fire. The Eskimos died ignorantly as they should have. Juneau was captured.

When these two cities were secured, the initial landing forces spread out to conquer the rest of Alaska. The 15,000 that started in Anchorage were re-organized into groups of 10,000 and 5,000, with the 10,000 man group going to conquer the small settlements around Anchorage and the 5,000 man group going to conquer Fairbanks and College. The 10,000 man group that conquered Juneau is spreading out into two groups as well, a 7,500 man group to conquer the cities and settlements south of Juneau and 2,500 man group to conquer the areas north of it.

Germany and Austria Re-unify

Following years of political turmoil in Austria, the Prussian government have intervened to prevent a Communist take-over. On the 11th of July, at approximately 2:00AM, over 200,000 Prussian troops mobilized from Bohemia, marching into Vienna by 9:00AM.

The result was tremendous, thousands lined the streets of Vienna, throwing bouquets of flows un-towards their Prussian brothers, who had come to protect them from Communist malcontents. The result of which saw the Prussian government completely assimilate Austria, completing phase 1 of the Germanic Re-unification process. The second phase will begin soon.

New Canadian Army enacts Currie Reforms

The New Canadian Army, augmented by both the Helenstedian Quebec Foreign Legion and the Prussian Waffen-SS Kanada, stands at a force of 500,000, standing at 300,000 Foreign Legions, and 200,000 NCR troops. The NCR has, with Prussian funding, begun a process of rapid reconstruction and preparation, and from the day the Treaty of Ontario was signed, the preparations were made to re-unify Canada.
