This morning Charles de Gaulle has officially declared support for the New Canada Republic in their Civil War against the Republic of Kanada.

250,000 members of the old Foreign Legion of Quebec have been transported to Quebec on a total of 800 naval craft. A referendum has been sent to GreatestBanks stating that if their navy interacts in any way with the 800 ships in the Helenstedian Atlantic Navy than the war will escalate into a larger conflict between the two superpowers. The Foreign Legion of Quebec, fresh on the shores of Quebec, will be joined with the New Canadian Republic's military of 200,000 soldiers and a detachment of the Prussian SS (50,000 strong) ultimately creating a fighting force of 500,000 soldiers in a joint Canadian-Prussian-Helenstedian army.

Quebec has been named a Helenstedian province, and the rest of the NCR a Holy Roman Protectorate of Prussia and Helensted to provide stability until the end of the conflict that lies ahead.

Following independence of French Guiana in 1920, its economy has been suffering tremendously. The Governor of French Guiana, by a popular petition commissioned by the people of French Guiana, has signed the reunification with the French motherland, and is now once again a province in the French Helenstedian Union.

this morning in Salisbury the house of parliament by a vote of 72-50 members has decided to alter our homeland's national anthem from "God save the King" to "Rise O' Voices of Africa" with the latter being based off of Ludwig Von Beethoven's ode to joy.

God Save the King will remain in use for ceremonial purposes such as a Royal visit while Rise O Voices of Africa will be used by the Colonial government.

Somalia was a lot harder to capture. The capital was invaded via strong naval forces, just wanting to make sure the city was under Sevanian control. The Somalian people did not take lightly to their expansive interests in the city. They were not greeted with the respect they deserved, and anyone who wanted to challenge the army of Sevania, was eliminated. Since Somalia did not agree to a peace contract, their leader was captured in Mogadishu and killed in front of the people. They revolted, but were dealt with, and the city died down. Like a dwindling candle in the dark.

Patrols have been happening all over Eritrea lately, Sevania is cracking down on countries in East Africa and beyond for good now. 25,000 troops invaded through Massawa, and were met with little to no resistance whatsoever. The people of Eritrea actually welcomed Sevanian soldiers into the area, believing they did not pose a threat to them or the people. Due to this, unlike the Somalian people, the troops did not engage in a full scale invasion, but just a quick invasion to reassure their dominance over the country and it's land mass.

Eritrean people had a village rat problem, so it was sorted by Sevanian soldiers.

Ethiopia was a hard nut to break, the large amount of land between the border and the capital meant that the soldiers endured months of hiking and travelling down through valleys and up over treacherous mountains, only to be greeted by a massive fortified city guarded by thousands of enemy soldiers and vehicles. Ethiopia had obviously prepared for something like this a long time ago, possibly when Sevania first started expanding. An offensive was launched upon the city, but was not successful the first time. The second time, the city began to break down bit by bit as soldiers pushed on. Once the city had been claimed, the Ethiopian leader decided to sign the peace contract, joining a long list of claimed countries.

Sudan was one of the biggest countries to encounter Sevania, a large empire at this point, but not quite as large as Sudan itself. Sevanian troops would have to be clever about this invasion. One of the largest cities, Khartoum, needed to be claimed before anything else could happen, so as long as Sevania could do that, the rest of the country should not be difficult to invade. Khartoum was attacked first, and subsequently claimed by Sevania on August 13th. Then, following the pattern, Sevanian army forces made their way up to Omdurman to claim further cities. This plan proved successful, as following up the River Nile was the best way to identify cities close by.

This is expected to be a quick war due to the surprise attack, and we call upon Curraleigh to assist us.

Ireland and Northern Ireland have recently voted in a referendum to become an independent country under the name of Ethane.


With a turnout of 92.21%, 72.11% of people living in Ireland voted for independence from Nova Auraluxia. In a long drawn-out campaign that has lasted the better half of a year, the ''Better Together'' campaign and the ''Independence for Ireland'' campaign have been dueling it out for the support of the people of Ireland. The EIP (Ethane Independence Party) has been a vital, vocal leader in the referendum, making the prospect of Irish independence seem desirable, therefore persuading many people who may not have voted for independence, to vote for independence. The result goes against what many of the commentators were suggesting would happen, as the common rhetoric was that Ethane would remain a part of Nova Auraluxia, to maintain stability in the country.

Over the next few years, the EIP will have their work cut out for them, as they will have to negotiate a defensive treaty with Nova Auraluxia, to maintain the strong defence of Ethane, as well as establish a new government, to make laws and run the country, and control the tensions between the two sides of the fight, stopping any violence between those who have got independence, and those who wanted to remain a part of Nova Auraluxia. The EIP will be hoping to establish a deal with Nova Auraluxia, which will see them maintain the security of Ethane at home, so that the country may enter into a transition period, where they become a fully fledged nation in their own right over the next few years.

Many people are extremely pleased with the final referendum result released. ''I can't believe it. I am so happy. We can finally be free from Nova Auraluxian oppression, after many years of them ruling over our nation. We are partying right now up in Dublin, with the EIP, for we can finally decide our own rules, eventually fight our own fights, and live our own lives.
We finally did it.''

However, some people, especially those who were against independence, remain extremely cautious about the referendum. ''The results haven't been fully ratified by the Nova Auraluxian government yet, and for all we know, they could fail to recognise our own independence, and just maintain control of us through a police regime, making life even worse for us. Also, I know that the EIP isn't the most competent of parties, with a dodgy past, so I doubt their ability to create and run a new government efficiently, and without corruption. I am hoping that, if they do go ahead with this, they will hold elections first. This is a sad day for Ethane, and for Nova Auraluxia, which has seen 2 parts of the union break off, and form the United People's Union of Ethane. I just hope that friendly relations can be maintained with Nova Auraluxia.''

Discussions over the future of the United People's Union of Ethane will begin within the next week, in the hope to form a formal defensive pact with Nova Auraluxia, to keep Ethane defended while they rebuild their own army.

Today after a long three months of fighting in Turkmenistan the CGRA(Curraleighian Grand Republican Army) with conjoint forces of Guerrilla forces. Now the army's being establishing the M.E.R.A.(Middle Eastern Republican Army) to help assist their forces keep peace within these newly founded lands, now the C.G.R.A aims it's attention towards Uzbekistan, and also trying to have Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan to unify with the Republic.

Chinese forces have successfully kicked Malaysia out of Indochina, and we have captured Singapore. Heavy fighting is going on in Eastern Malaysia. Kuching has been captured, giving China a strong hold on Western Malaysia, and Malaysian forces are expected to surrender in a short time. We have begun looking at land deals with Indonesia, and Chinese officials are looking at Hawaii as a place of potential colonization.

Charles de Gaulle Sends Referendum to the Greater Valdostans and Sevanians. First Consul Monsieur Charles de Gaulle has officially sent a referendum to the Greater Valdostan and Sevanian governments of the East. He warns for the two governments to either slow down their expansion efforts, quit them entirely, or to grant independence to a portion of gains from their wars of conquest. He stated this morning that "...such barbaric warmongering committed against the weak nations of this world should not be accepted. These two nations have the nerve to march into independence and sovereign territories without even the slightest of claims? Well I'll tell you messieurs, they fight for oil and nothing more. They wish to exploit the native populations." Here at Helensted Weekly we have decided to take our own initiative in the research of Greater Valdostan and Sevanian expansions. We have come to the final conclusion that both efforts are entirely for the resource and population exploitation, and not for uniting of any one people groups, or for the betterment of a lifestyle of native peoples. Take Greater Valdosta for example, with plenty of land in the East the Empress continues to expand her borders, and in Seventh Oblivion the oil rich nations of East Africa and the Middle East are the obvious targets.

Quebec Fully Admitted Into Helenstedian Union. Following the occupation of Quebec and the newly reestablished Canadian Civil War, the province of Quebec is once again officially a part of the French Union of Helensted. Celebrations rivaling those of Mardi Gras and even some Christmas ceremonies were held in the square this week as the people rejoice to be once again part of a Greater French Union. First Consul Charles de Gaulle was seen outside of Quebec City preparing for a speech last week, which he finally presented just a few days ago. Among other highlights, he stated that "...for long the people of Quebec have been our friends and messieurs in arms. Despite the expansions of our Prussian friends and Banker rivals, Quebec is once again Helenstedian."

Referendum to Nova Auraluxia and Helenstedian Introduction to Ethane. First Consul Charles de Gaulle has recently reached his hands out to the new nation of Ethane. The First Consul stated in a telegram to the Ethanian government that "...your independence and sovereignty is absolutely secured by the French people. In the Winter of 1922, the people and government of the French officially recognizes the new Irish Union that is Ethane, and no matter what Nova Auraluxia may do to combat your independence, you can be guaranteed that it is secured by the Helenstedian Patriotic Army." Along with these statements, the First Consul has warned Nova Auraluxia that it too is responsible with unlawful claims. Charles de Gaulle demands the independence of Panama and Mozambique by the Spring of 1922, and if these terms aren't met the Helenstedian Patriotic Army will secure the independence of Panama, Mozambique, Djibouti, and even South Africa by force.

After the Helenstedian ultimatum was delivered, Empress Sung agreed to slow down Chinese expansion once the Malaysian war finishes. She said in a speech yesterday, "The Chinese do not wish to exploit the people not the resources of the conquered. Every Chinese Foreign State is comprised of leadership of the ethnicity of said region. As for the resources, yes it is true that expansion gives us resources, however it is not true that we use this selfishly. We redistribute the resources to natives and other nations."

New Canadian Republican Army launched ''Operation: Wolverine''

Primary Objectives: Re-unify Canada under the NCR.
Secondary Objectives: Secure the cities of Calgary, Vancouver and Toronto.

The start of the Canadian Re-unification begins now. At approximately 2:00AM, November 15th, Canadian forces crossed the border into the Republic of Kanada. The Republic of Kanada, who's military was drastically lesser than that of the NCRA's, by roughly 400,000 men, was unable to stop the initial wave of 100,000 Canadian soldiers, who, largely on the back of Opel trucks, and with assistance from both Panzer FCM-21's and Panzer. I tanks, were completely satisfactory within the first week of the assault.

The first week saw Kanadian forces pushed back to Lake Huron, while the towns of Thunder Bay and Sudbury were retaken. The speed and rapidity of the NCRA forces made advances of up to 20km in Southern areas, while up to 10,000 soldiers marched in the Northern Territories and Islands, securing many entirely, and making advances in the Northwest Territories of up to 55km in places.

The result of this has been dubbed by the Prussian press as ''Blitzkrieg'' or ''Lightening War'', war with a new pace, a rapid and deadly one.

Alliance Forged With Asleau

After an alliance was proposed by the government of Asleau, Estefaro has accepted this request and is willing to follow the guidelines initially set by the country. He has confirmed the alliance publicly, and newspapers are reporting on the alliance more than any other story.
