OPERATION: PARAMOUNT - A OOC THREAD FOR TASK FORCE ATLAS RP

(INTRODUCTION)

Greetings old friends and newcomers alike, and welcome to Operation Paramount. Operation Paramount is my first foray into Task Force Atlas since separating from it back in early 2014, before the reboot that has evolved into the core group that it is today, and hopefully will be the first of possibly many missions working in conjunction with Atlas.

In a nutshell, I plan for this Operation to be a story driven narrative in which (as already suggested by URA in the main Atlas thread) I will be acting as a "DM" (for lack of a better term) to tell and present a story to the people taking part in this RP. My goal here isn't to win or lose, but to provide a hopefully unique and rewarding experience for the people involved, where the unknown lurks around every corner and decisions made along the path might have unforeseen consequences further down along the road.

While I do have a general "path" mapped out for key events for this RP, this environment is open ended, meaning that players are free to pick and choose their own path through the complex as they see fit. After all, who knows what goodies a curious explorer might find within the depths of my domain.

As such, if players have any questions while I work on the OP and get this RP up and running properly, now would be a very good time to ask them. I am very open and would be pleased as punch to answer any questions people might have about the RP, myself, or anything related to the RP really. So please ask away!

1: This RP and thread is restricted to Task Force Atlas members only! If you are not an official or recognized member, please refrain from posting in both this and the IC thread.
1A: Any TFA member is free to post here, regardless of participation in the mission or not. Please feel free to offer advice, cheer, boo, laugh and cry about fellow members glorious or infamous acts in the RP. After all, the purpose of this RP is to have fun.
2: Any issues that need OP attention should be brought to my attention via TG.

Hello AA, and welcome to the thread.

In a nutshell, members of TFA will be flown in from their host nations to Joint Base Cloverfield on the western coast of my mainland via their respective aircraft. Once everyone arrives and is ready, Atlas members will then be transported to the facility via tilt rotor aircraft operated by a Dominion air group normally reserved and attached to DSOC operations.

For all intents and purposes, logistical needs will be provided for by my military on site prior to and during the duration of this operation.

As for targets... I'm not going to give anything away, but saying that the potential for a "target rich" environment does exist.

According to the information I gathered from Project Warfighter, and correct me if I wrong, Grey Mountain Research Facility do some experiments on human subjects, and there are certain rumors about mutants inside the facility, though.

However, since there was two NS wide zombie outbreaks, it wouldn't be far fetched to believe that the possibility exists that research into defenses and a possible antivirus (ect ect) might be going on in a place such as this.

Funny enough, I actually explored this concept years before Zombie outbreaks was even a thing here on NS. The Rp thread died though before reaching a full page sadly.

What's the type of ammunition do your guys use? 5.56mm or what?
