Nation Description : Autismustan is a sparsely populated nation who for a century has lagged technologically behind other nations due to complacency and inner conflicts. Now with the nation nominally unified under the Nationalist Party, has begun an aggressive modernisation program aimed at bringing its armed forces and industry up to modern standards. Although not as advanced as many of the worlds leading countries, its large and fertile territory supports the growing of tea, a plant highly sort after by many of the world powers, thus Autismustan could utilise tea to gain favourable investments for her industry. Now, after a decade of reform, Autismustan is now a well developed nation on par with most of the industrialised world, with a small but capable army and a sufficiently maintained and trained navy to boot. The leaders of Autismustan are currently working to boost the industrial capacity of its factories and expand its fledging armed forces to accommodate more troops and ships, sometimes to the detriment of its foreign relations.

The government of Autismustan is heavily bureaucratic, with departments and ministries handling their constituencies with relative efficiency. On the outside, people would assume its a typical government with all the functioning bureaucracy typical of other nations, but upon closer look the names 'Ministries of Rites' and 'Ministry of War' along with others start to appear among the rosters of the departments. These names were a byproduct of its ancient times, which survived millenia due to its efficiency as opposed to the feudal governments of its contemporaries. A little known fact that was lost among the rest of the world is that the governments of the modern world are based on this model.

The floodplains of southern China fostered a military doctrine that favoured long range missiles as opposed to close-quartered combat. As such, the generals of Autismustan favour heavy artillery and any artillery whose projectile range exceeds 1 kilometer. The usage of tanks have made inroads with the official induction of its usage in the military doctrine, where the mass production of armoured vehicles have just recently begun. The infantry of Autismustan uses bolt-action rifles with ammunition for 70 rounds, 4 fragmentation grenades, 1 flare gun, 1 fully loaded semi-auto pistol with 3 magazines. The infantry wears bright red jackets with yellow chinese dragons adorned on each sleeve, with an insignia representing their rank on the right side of the shirt. They wear grey trousers with a pocket on either side and black boots which extend above their ankles. Aircrafts possessed by the military are few currently but their use in reconnaissance and strategic bombing are recognised, and are slated to be expanded on once the navy is built up.

The Navy of Autismustan currently consists of 3 Destroyers and 1 Cruiser. Although small, the government have diverted huge amounts of resources to bring up the numbers of the ships to defend Autismustan's huge coastline.

Nation Description : Antilon is a coalition of Slavic and Eurasian ethnic groups that united under a single federal flag. The federal government is a socialist compromise between far-left communists and left-leaning centrists, although in recent years communists have gained significant legislative initiative, leading to an expansive, but partly inefficient, public sector that provides most essentials and luxury goods and services. The private sector is mostly composed of Non-Government Organizations that take contracts from the government to fulfill certain obligations.

Because of a lack of conflict in the region, most of the federal budget is directed toward the welfare of the citizens, namely education, healthcare, and welfare and social services. As a result, the people of Antilon enjoy an excellent standard of living, despite occasional shortages of certain goods. However, recent tensions in international affairs have led the nation to begin modernizing and expanding the military. As a result, quotas for military recruitment were instated to establish a reserve corps. If quotas are not met, then compulsory service by lottery is used to maintain the numbers, although this has not been used frequently due to an unexpected enthusiasm among the population in volunteering for military service. In order to cope with the shift of budget from welfare to defense, recruits are encouraged to become career soldiers, wherein the burden of their welfare services is transferred from the civilian government to the military. The overall result is that Antilon has a huge military, composed of a core of career soldiers supplemented by a relatively well-trained and disciplined reserve corps. Combined with a developed public transportation and infrastructure and a large economy, the Antilonian military is not only formidable in strength but also backed by a large logistical infrastructure and solid economy that ensures its ability to fight on.
