Nations that have yet to join are allowed to pick whichever nations on the map as their own (this if for RP only you tards, its still your nation on the official representation map, just someone else is controlling it for RP). That means any nation whose name is not on the current TEMPORARY map >>link. Nations joining after tomorrow will have 5 points LESS to spend.
Nations who have already joined may begin declaring war (in accordance to the V2 mechanics) and annexing land from as yet unclaimed nations, Limit will be 10 regions from the map DAILY, and has to be adjacent to current nation or nearby. And these will be considered First before any new nations join by time posted on the Diplomacy thread(so try no edits).
Do note, i will be unavailable from 12-5pm SGT, although I will be on my phone.

Nation Description : Beginning from its humble origins as a small kingdom located in Singapore and neighboring Johor, The Empire of Rubidum began its rise to dominance in the late 1830's, with the personal union between its king Jabba the Hutt and the Queen of neighboring Borneo, Jar Jar the Beautiful. Bloody wars of conquest were fought just 30 year's later in their acquisition of Aceh, After which, the empire had entered a 50 year period of peace and prosperity, A golden age wherein the arts and social sciences were advanced, while its once staggering military power grew stagnant.
The Empire retains a small but modernized Navy as a matter of prestige, while its Army is lead by incompetent corrupt officers competing for higher standing. The Rubidan Army is in a state of shambles, with only 1 of its 13 Divisions which could be termed "professional".

Nation Description : The Peoples Republic of The First Peruvian State, is a small country that came to be after a bloody civil war.
The civil war was fought by the PNR (Peruvian Nationalist Republic) and the DPS (Democratic Peruvian State). The civil war was eventually won by the PNR who founded the government that stands today.

The country is a bit backwater, but its people are on the climb to restoring the country that once was.

I will not be adding more to the map at this point, and will finalize the map by the end of the week (gotta love them two tests in a week tho), which will include nation names as well as removal of borders inside of nations.

Brief Description:

Luinspear was a small isolated nation that loathed its neighbors and kept to itself. However, despite the fervent wishes of the people for peace and solidarity, great warships from seemingly nowhere massed around the capital mid last century, trying to force the nation open to trade. A desperate war ensued and Luinspear was once again plunged into factionalism, and chaos engulfed the once isolated peaceful nation. During Luinspear's darkest hours a virtually unknown man at the time slowly and painstakingly reuinited the nation and brought the various warlords under his rule to form a new coalition. After the ensuing war, Luinspear opened its borders to trade with the foreign powers.

Unbeknownst to the foreign powers that viewed the islanders of Luinspear as little more than luddite barbarians, a great fervor awoke in the nation. A desire to never again be subject to the humiliation and depredation these foreigners had wrought. Luinspear, under Yukio Mishima the first Emperor quickly modernized the nation, the army, and most importantly, their navy. Now open to the world at large, Luinspear seeks to defend those whos fate might be forced by the foreign powers, and to prove to the world their rightful place as Equal among the great powers.

Nation Description:
After overthrowing not!German colonial rulers, the citizens of Obzedat formed together into a confederation of state powers in a unified protectorate. The nation is highly nationalistic, and suffers from a unique brand of manifest destiny. The United Protectorate of Obzedat is clamoring for reforms amongst neighboring African nations, and attempting to incite the idea of a unified African continent against future colonialism. Beyond this, the nation is a highly militarized state concerned first and foremost with their own survival. (More to come.)
Equipment:
The arsenal of Obzedat is largely focused on providing infantry with adequate equipment and rations based on European model infantry. Bolt action rifles are common place, and in a higher caliber than most other major powers due to Obzedatian hunting traditions involving the use of big game cartridges(such as elephant rifles.) With the recent advent of mechanized warfare, the Obzedatian military is in the slow process of modernizing its military and providing sufficient transport for its large standing army.

Nation Description: The days of the post-colonialist empire of Imperial Eridia was numbered as, violent anarchist revolution was brewing. Millions were claimed was the beautiful islands of the Caribbean were turned into desolate warzones. But even as revolutionaries swam miles from island to island in the Lesser Antilles, Cuba was turned into miles of muddy trenches, and Jamaica was bathed in chlorine gas, the Revolution could not be stopped. While the vast South American empire of Eridia was claimed by invaders, the Revolution was slowly reaching its end. After a decade of brutal fighting, the last of the loyalists of Imperial Eridia were finally defeated, but even after those brutal years of conflict, the Eridian people did not believe the Revolution was finished. There were still lands of Eridia that were not freed, but many believed even further that the Revolution must be spread throughout the world, that the scourges of imperialism and statism must be defeated and the entire world be liberated.

What equipment you're using: WWI British Empire surplus. A Lee-Enfield and a bayonet/survival knife make up them majority of the equipment of the common soldier. A large stockpile of chemical weapons is possessed but the horrors of its use during the Revolution make all hesitant to use it.

While initially founded on principles in line with Salafi or Wahhabi Islam, the emergence of a popular reformist sect called Haqqislam, combined with an ill-fated attempt at expansion/jihad by the former regime, led to a swift and surprisingly bloodless change in government. While still a religious monarchy, Diriya's ultra-conservative hardliners were largely told to sod off. Though still somewhat repressive by democratic standards, the country's new majority religion is surprisingly humanist and drastically less xenophobic. Nation Description
After a mysterious, strangely-dressed man gave a number of items (including models and several works of fiction) to The Founder, the Principality of Surcania was founded on an Asian archipelago, founded on the principles of hot blood and justice, two qualities emphasized by the items the Founder received. Although war seems to be looming on the horizon, the country is relatively unprepared. Hopefully the war isn't brought to Surcania's doorstep.

Equipment used
The army uses mostly bolt-action rifles, with several units using submachine guns. Machine guns are common as well. A wide assortment of melee weapons (mainly ancient and medieval weapons using modern materials and techniques) are used, and disturbingly preferred by the Surcanian infantryman. The nation is in the process of mechanizing their forces and producing more artillery.
The navy is currently in the process of building ships.

Nation Description : Gladiaria is a vast, populous nation occupying the rich river valleys of Northern Indian Subcontinent, the large Central Highlands and Deccan Plateau and the lush jungles of Southern Indian Subcontinent. It was unified from a patchwork of dozens of minor states after surge of nationalism hit the region in late 1870s. In 1886 this culminated in nationalist states forming an alliance and embarking on war to unify the nation. After 3 years of fighting national unification had been achieved and Territories of Gladiaria were proclaimed into existence in 1890.

The newly proclaimed national government was hellbent on enforcing national identity taking control of the economy and curbing the influence of the numerous religions spread across the country. Although greatly benefiting the welfare of the populace the national government was bordering on bureaucratic despotism. Lasting legacy of this early era is still to be seen in the highly inefficient state run economy that is eclipsed by the off-books economy and in the name of the country itself.

Territories of Gladiaria was only intended by the first national congress creating the constitution to be a temporary name. However soon arguments over the final form of the state became deadlocked and Territories (temporary) of Gladiaria became Territories (disputed) of Gladiaria as the national congress moved on to more pressing matters. Later congresses have since been unable to resolve this dispute and today the country is internationally known as the Disputed Territories of Gladiaria.

The stuck-up attitude of the government regarding procedural correctness is a running joke among the people and one joke in particular pertains to the national flag: The white, red and green symbolizing the purity of national unity, blood of the fallen patriots and nature are instead ridiculed as whiteness of bureaucrat's mountain of paper, blood spilled by the people due to government inflexibility and the piles of money wasted on inane bureaucracy. So although Gladiaria is a vast, well-being superpower, it is also plagued by inefficiency in state controlled economy leaving Gladiaria's international influence meager compared to the other great powers.

What equipment you're using : Military wears early 1900s Indian uniforms wearing either turbans, fez (Gladiarian green) or Pith helmets in varied styles. Army uses bolt action rifles as standard issue, officers get semi-auto pistols and a sabre. Machine guns are extensively used though cumbersome to move. Though Gladiaria hasn't ever used militarized gases due to international developments in the field it has developed several attack gases. As result border garrisons are all equipped with gas masks and a large stockpile of gas masks is littered throughout the nation but not anywhere near enough for all troops.

Artillery is integral part of Gladiarian military doctrine as the nation possesses large industrial forces to feed her massive armed forces. Cavalry still remains important to moving troops and supplies outside the extensive railroad network but fighting on horseback has been abandoned as suicidal due to improvements in artillery, machine guns, aviation and field defenses (mines, bunkers, barbed wire, trenches etc.).

Aircraft are still experimental in Gladiarian military and do not exist as independent branch, serving as artillery spotters and intelligence gatherers for the army. Plans to develop full blown air force to bring Gladiaria to the level of other great powers are on their way.

Naval doctrine in the country is still taking baby steps as the long standing view of the former constituent nations of modern Gladiaria has been brown water navy. Today however navy brass is expanding the navy towards green water navy doctrine as a half-way point allowing the navy and military to operate in the majority of the Great Southern Sea. As it stands though the navy only has 2 cruisers and 3 destroyers but massive expansion is underway for Gladiaria to be able to dominate the Great Southern Sea. Gladiaria is ill-equipped by industrial resources so a strong navy is a must for the unified behemoth to prosper through trade.
