I'll also point out the power generation requirements need to jam ALL the different bands of radar the AEGIS system can use are far outside the capabilities of a single aircraft. Jam one wave-band, probably, jam them all, good luck.

If they configured it properly, AEGIS could fry the aircraft's own sensors if their willing to not use search mode for a bit. The disparity in power output is ridiculous.

Throw in the fact ships are still showing up regularly in the area and going about their business with no problems, and the situation really isn't anything like Russia wants it to be.

AEGIS also has a max output of 5 MW. They could cook the Russian pilot if he tried to jam them.

They also have Naval Strike Missiles, an anti-ship missile with the same range, and Tomahawk cruise missiles. In other words, I'm already within striking distance of your fleet. Of course, the submarine could be closer than that even. Don't worry, I'm not going to attack you.

Look up the lockheed Martin LRASM, that is a Vegara, it is able to dip down to sea skimming altitude to reduce the chance of anti missile defenses hitting this to almost nothing.

Also I won't fire on you unless the peacetalks end and there is no peace, or you begin becoming an issue.
