Speech Made By Vice Chancellor Rehn Today:
"My friends, today I speak not only to Finland, but to the world. As you know, over 300,000 people, 280,000 of which are civilians, have died just from missile attacks by the Empire of Unions. They have carelessly put into danger millions of lives, and have ended hundreds of thousands around the world needlessly. They have infringed upon the independence of Belgium, Luxembourg, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Iceland. They are a regime which patterns the nazis, slowly annexing lands and growing in power, while the rest of the world, not wanting to jump into WW3, gives them concessions and bends to their will. But if we don't do something to stop them, then WW3 will happen! Some have realized this, like Italy, Pakistan, and of course our Finland. But we need the rest of the world to wake up! Unless we end the tyrannical regime now imprisoning 50 million people. Secure the future of the world, and declare war on them. We must stop them while we still have a chance."

Meanwhile, over 400,000 Finns and 60,000 Swedes(of which 380,000 were civilian) have now died because of the aggression of the Netherlands, and many more are sick. Relief operations are struggling to cope with the enormity of the disasters, and it would seem that most of Finland's budget will be spent on the relief operations.
Although the enemy's missiles were devastating, they struck just as the new offensive had began, and the troops had left their fortifications. It still managed to kill over 80,000, most of them reserve troops, officers, or non-combat personnel. The Finns, seeing that the Dutch are sending mass reinforcements, have attempted to secure most of Sweden before they can arrive. Swedes are flowing into the Swedish army, which is now over 300,000 strong.
