[New Mushroom Kingdom]

During the war in the USC, The NMK and Nova Capile had decided to engage in a formal military alliance with each other, Due to certain circumstances, it was kind of rushed. Now that the War was practically over, it was time to do this again right and let the world know.

The Grand Duchy's citizens were proud to have a new and very powerful ally, and cheered in the streets as the Duke's procession of limousines and armored cars made their way to the airport. They crowded every street and hung out of every window and balcony, waving Capilean and NMK flags. As the procession pulled up to the airport, and the Duke boarded his private jet, the following message was sent to the NMK:

Greetings, friends.
our Duke will arrive shortly at your capital city for discussion of the alliance. We are honored to have you as an ally, and we hope for our Duke to meet your Emperor and the Regent.

The private jet would arrive within the hour to meet with NMK officials for the official signing of the alliance. Prince Klaus, the Capilean ambassador to NMK, and representatives from Nova Capile's region would also be there.

Kandfeld International Airport, New Mushroom Kingdom
There was no airport in the NMK's ancient capital of Toad Town. Instead, international visitors landed in Kandfeld and then travelled the short route to Toad Town or any other city. Most visitors travelled by car, not daring to try out the NMK's public Warp Pipes. The Regent and the Emperor were both prepared for this occasion, with both dressed in fancy military dress uniforms. However, the Emperor decided to stay back in the palace while the Regent went out to greet the Capileans. He waited for their private plane to arrive at the airport.

When we get there, try not to step in the Yoshi Poop. It is very common for the local Toads to be riding on their Yoshis. Finally, I would advise that anyone with breathing difficulties or allergies to fungi of any variety to stay behind. Air in the NMK, especially in densely-populated regions tends to have a moderately higher concentration of fungi compared to elsewhere. It's something people adapt to in time. "

Those are entirely living, breathing mushroom houses. There shouldn't be much Yoshi poop, this is a high-traffic pathway an this means it becomes very clean. One upside of yoshi poop is that it is an extremely excellent fire retardant / dampener."

He suddenly noticed the kid-emperor, standing before him in all of his glory. The Duke quickly bowed before him. ¨Greetings, emperor. I have waited a long time to meet you; hopefully today marks a new era of prosperity for both of our kingdoms.¨

He stood up and began chatting with the young emperor, asking him everything about his reign, and how life was in the New Mushroom Kingdom. Klaus suddenly entered the room, back from a teleconference with the Capilean government. He bowed low before the Emperor, introducing himself as the Crown Prince of Nova Capile. "Father; are we almost ready for the talks? I would really love to stay and chat with the young emperor, but Hans is away at a ball and the ministers at home are in a frenzy."

He did not want think of what would happen if his Regent was different. Finally, an attendant entered the room. The preparations were finished, and he said "The talks are ready to commence if you would kindly follow me sirs. Your Imperial Majesty, would you kindly go to your room?" and then watched as the kid happily scurried off to his expansive royal bedroom.
