Well since the Caliphate has taken over the Arabian peninsula, meaning no trade with the west, and US-Arabian oil trade alone totaled 50.7 billion dollars worth in 2013, I'm quite a bit richer from all my oilmoney. So I have an all-around more funded country, I can afford to build more recruiting centers and therefore have a larger military, etc.
