You said that your ambassador was speaking to the president. Except, the Prime Minister and King are still in Independence Hall threatening the Ambassador of the UFSNA to leave their lands.

A HYDRA helicopter landed near the Independence Hall. The door opened, and a man walked out surrounded by many bodyguards. This was the new HYDRA Ambassador to the USC.
He walked into the Hall, and after showing his ID, asked to speak to the King and Prime Minister.

[The Grand Duchy Of Nova Capile]

Near Brownsville, Texas
The AA trucks had quickly dispatched of the remaining Croatian fighters, and within the hour was bearing down on the Communists backs. Meeting little resistance, a single tank brigade was sent through a nearby city to check for enemy positions. Surprisingly, there were none. Then, suddenly as a tank went by a small liquor store, a bomb exploded, sending shattered debris everywhere. Soon a chain reaction had destroyed six more tanks, and the remnants were high tailing it out of the city. With them they brought as many civilians as the could. Afterwards a squad of bombers began to bomb the city to hell. And after they were sure that every bomb had exploded, the moved onto the next. They made sure to warn the civilians and give them time to evacuate, however. Meanwhile the tank columns circled the communist lands, mopping up any fleeing Croatians.

"Indeed. Though our military size has dropped significantly quite recently. Which is a shame. Anyway, why are you here?"

Homer, Alaska 2:21 in the morning
Ila Bijkili jumped out of the boat. He was a recently enlisted soldier that had been called out to fight in the Columbian war. He was shivering from the cold, and he had never been more nervous in his entire life. He ran, side by side with his fellow comrades. He heard the planes roaring overhead, and soon heard the shouting from the enemy army. Then came the characteristic thundering of the plane's cannons, that drowned the screams and wails of the men. The Yymeans had been trained in guerilla warfare and urban fights, and this proved useful against an army of trenches, that was vastly outnumbered, as there was only a small defence force in alaska. Ila ran through the empty streets, occasionally killing a Columbian soldier. Soon, the city surrendered, as did many others wich had suffered similar coordinated attacks. After a few more battles, the southern alaska coast had fallen to Yymean troops.

"As I am sure you are aware, the Communist threat is advancing towards the oil-rich territories of Alaska. With your permission, we will deploy defences and prepare to hold off the Communists. Also, our 6th Expeditionary Fleet is nearby, and if we act quickly we can drive the Communists out of Cuba."

Brownsville

A payed spy, got into the city, he was ordered to click the button underneath Mary's desk. This would obliterate the whole of Brownsville, as it was laced with remote mines. He unlocked the door, unlocked the safe and pulled out the button, put it on the ground, and stepped on it.
He fell to the ground, the explosions vibrated through his body. He didn't know what damage was to be done, he was just ordered to push the button.


Parliament

The crushing news of defeat made the room explode into uproar, cries of "Send a Nuke" and "Kill all the Capileans" made the Parliament come to a end, eggs were thrown and punches were sent, no decision could be made on what to do and how to get the remaining soldiers to safety.

15:30 hours central standard time:
Several Tranquility-class Heavy Battleships and Atlantean Pride-class heavy destroyers steamed toward Miami, escorting multiple Marine Mothership-class transports, aimed at landing several battalions of Imperial Marines onto the beaches of Miami. Meanwhile, more Marines were already landing on south Florida soil, and the Imperial Air Force has started air strikes on the Florida Keys.

Meanwhile, in the Imperial High Command, Elysium, 15:45 central standard time:
Emporer Cyrus Silva sits in his chair at the Military Command Center, in the lower levels of the High Command Building, watching an lcd display of the marines landing in south Florida. His Minister of War, Commander Dairus Taylor turned and asked "do you think they'll encounter much resistance, Cyrus?" "No. Columbia has been through hell the last year, the Colombian Civil War, among other things. Their men are exhausted, they're people no will to fight. We wil crush them under the Imperial boot." Cyrus replied. As the live drone view showed an imperial landing craft blown out of the water, Dairus said "I sure hope your right, sir."

Cuba-15:47 central standard time
Marine Seargent David Howess was overseeing a resupply mission at marine FOB Sugar Cane. The resupply boats had landed twenty minutes before. Before the resupply crew left, Howess went to go find the resupply officer. When he finally found him, Howess asked why they were delivered coastal artillery rather than the standard long range artillery. The resupply officer replied "haven't you heard? Command says there is a large enemy fleet assembling at New Orleans. We wouldn't want a seaborne invasion, would we?"

"Excellent. I will pass on the order at once." he smiled again, this time in a more menacing fashion.
A bodyguard nodded, and left the building.
"And what about Cuba?" he asked.

Somewhere in a HYDRA base near Alaska
Tens of thousands of troops were stirring from a restless sleep. When they had gathered, their commander informed them that they will be going to war in Alaska, and that they are to be ready in 3 hours. Many soldiers were angry, and some loudly refused. Their commander shot 5 of the dissenters immediately. Most then calmed down, though some were still furious. They began to threaten their commander with weapons, and curse the Emperor. Then the military police intervened. The dissenters were dragged out of the base, and shot.
Everyone else calmed down, though they were still angry.
6 hours later
The drop-ships began to unload their cargo of troops and tanks near the Alaskan oil-fields. Within half an hour defences had been established, and the HYDRA forces, 100,000 strong, settled down and began to wait.
However, they were far from calm. Most did not want to be at war again, and almost anything would be enough to set off a mutiny.

The HYDRA Ambassador had recently been informed of the attacks on Florida. He hurried up to the King.
"Florida is under attack. Does the 6th Expeditionary Fleet have permission to strike?"
However, he did not care about the answer, and the order to attack had already been sent off.

Somewhere off the coast of Florida
HYDRA 6 Expeditionary Fleet
100 massive battlecruisers were approaching the landing site. Soon, the enemy would be in range of the missiles and guns. Already, aircraft were bombarding the enemy landing crafts.
A message was sent to the commander of the invasion:

Stand down or die.

San Francisco
The grand army of the UFSNA had returned with a vengeance, and none would be spared. Fifty thousand troops came ashore, guns blazing, and steadily fought through the resistance. Offshore, seven gunships pounded the buildings of the inner city with shells. A few hit the Golden Gate Bridge, and the steel was warped, crumbling the concrete and spilling cars and people into the Bay. F-22s and F-35s streaked overhead, strafing rooftops and decimating the sides of skyscrapers. Apache Attack helicopters acted as an advance front, picking off those who fled and destroying key points of infrastructure. Just behind the infantry front thundered line of monstrous, armored behemoths- dozens of M1A3 Abrams tanks. In the distance, a skyscraper collapsed onto a large parking garage. Car sirens blared. Civilians dropped to their knees, begging, only to be shot. Within hours, the city would be captured and stragglers would be rounded up and gunned down. Meanwhile, back at the homeland, the thousands o f captives from the previous invasion were collected, and 300 were killed. A message was sent to the USC demanding surrender. Every day, 300 captives would die until surrender negotiations began. Similar invasions had begun in Seattle and Savannah. The world would hear the roar of the world's mightiest nation.

Several dark suited officials strided quickly through the High Command halls, rushing to notify the Emporer of the enemy's incoming attack. "Sir!" One of them began after they burst into Military Command. "Our forces in Cuba might be under attack. The enemy commander issued us a proposal to stand down." Emporer Silva considered it, then said back "the Empire doesn't surrender. However, pull back three of the five divisions. Evac them to our FOB in Central America." "What about the Marines in Florida, Sir?" "Tell them to dig in, prepare for a hell storm."

The Marines had taken Miami three hours earlier, victorious after an hour of house to house fighting. Now, their commander, captain Austin Jensen was worried as he recieved orders from Command to dig in, to await a large enemy force. Even worse, he was told Cuba was under attack, which was their only fallback location. Essentially, the marines were trapped. "Well," he thought to himself, "we've been through worse." He pulled the charging handle on his IAR-32 as he prepared to address his men.

Captain Mark Tucker viewed the incoming enemy fleet through his binoculars. The monstorus looming battleships had been shelling the island for three minutes now, although the shell fire was trickling as it was directed onto the Tranquility class heavy battleships sent to intercept. Overhead, IF-27 Jackal fighters streaked toward the ships, pouring cannon fire into them and releasing their bombs at the last second. Two of the five were shot down, screaming into the thick armor plating, leaving massive dark spots. Shells from the heavy battleships crashed down, resulting in a very large explosion in one of the enemy hulks. Almost instantaneously, the three imperial heavy battleships exploded at once, being struck by enemy submarine torpedoes. Tucker ordered the coastal artillery to open up, resulting in a massive roar as the rail gun cannons caused sonic booms. The shells crashed against the ships, but hardly scratched the thick armor. Next, enemy fighters screamed overhead, and both the coastal artillery and fortified bunker Tucker was in exploded in a large ball of plasma fire. Then, the enemy attack stopped as the fleet commander considered the New Axiom reply:

If you attack, we WILL launch the Missiles.

[The RODina]

OOC: Geographically for this RP the Rodina is in Australia, I forgot to mention that. Not really culturally the same but oh well.

The Praetor's Visit
Praetor Caius Aurelius
While some in the Senate beleived that sending a missive to Columbia would be enough, Caius wanted to speak to the President and King personally. Thus, he flew to Philadelphia aboard the Spiritus Rodinae accompanied a small bodyguard of ten Elite Praetorians with large carbon steel riot shields capable of forming a testudo to protect the Praetor himself at a moments notice. They also carried the Infantry Carbine "Gladius", pistols, and carbon steel machetes.

The flight was long, and Caius felt sympathy for the poor men of the Airborne Praetorians who had to spend the time all crammed into a couple of aircraft. After a few hours (Caius lost count after he fell asleep), they touched down on the major airport into Philadelphia. Caius and his escort made their way to Independence Hall as quickly as they could. It looked like there were a few other representatives from Columbia's allies.

"Ave, your Grace," Caius greeted the King and the others that were there. "I am an emissary from the Rodina, I have personally come here to express my best wishes for you and your people, and hope that we can leave any past disagreements in the past. We have a significant number of soldiers preparing to engage the Germans in the Northeast United States, and we have a large Cohort ready to assault Hawaii as soon as the word is given."

Operation: Buckmoth
Centurion Gnaeus, Deck of the Sutting, Blackwater Port, the Rodina
First Centurion Franciscus Gnaeus waited anxiously aboard the flagship of the Blackwater Flotilla, a large Sutting-Class Destroyer named The Sutting, the first of its kind. Three other smaller Blackwater-Class Destroyers and five submarines made up the Blackwater Flotilla, the smaller fleet of the Rodina tasked with liberating the Hawaiian Isles.

At least a million men would be required to defend the Rodina itself in the case of a major invasion, so the Military Enclave could only afford to deploy a meager ten thousand men to retake the Isles. If they encountered serious resistance from the occupying force, it would become problematic to say the least.

In addition to the Blackwater Fleet and the 14th Cohort, twenty Mig-25 fighter jets would screen the fleet for enemy aircraft, and another three F/A-18 Strike aircraft to bombard the enemy positions on land. It was not a particularly impressive attack formation, but it would hopefully be enough to secure the island chain.

Operation: Firebreather
Decurion Rotenko, Philadelphia, NUSC
The Praetorian Cohort had received an array of major supply drops from the Rodinan airforce, most notably being the arrival of Shock-troop equipment, Riot shields, heavy armour and Praetorian Helmets. Most of the formation took up this equipment, with the exception of the officers, like Decurion Rotenko, who were not expected to be a part of a shieldwall or testudo.

The Column moved through Philadelphia and the only military men they saw were escorting civilians out of the city.

"What are they doing? Are they even going to defend their home?" Rotenko asked the Centurion

"I have no idea, but we dont stand a damn chance without them. I suspect they are all occupied in the defence of New York, but considering the significant evacuations, I suspect they do not anticipate a victory in the short term," the Centurion responded. "Praetor Aurelius is meeting with the King of Columbia as we speak, perhaps he will know where we can be of the most help."
