2nd War for Columbia

War breeds war. And as the flames of the Great Division (as Columbians call it) die down new flames come from them.
You and your nation now decide the fate of Columbia or even the world. Due to her heavy amounts of land, resources, and people, many wish to have control over the land. Either directly or as a puppet.
The Civil War has finally ended (in that it's fought with words and not guns now) and rebuilding has slowly begun. Right now two new threats emerge for Columbia: The annexation of her lands by the communist nations and the invasion by the New Decius.
You can either be an invader or a protector.
Assemble your troops, mobilize your industry, and be ready to fight for your beliefs.

Matamoros, Mexico
As Klaus was departing his HQ in Matamaros, he looked back to see several cylinders streak through the sky and land haphazardly throughout the city. Smoke drifted up from where they landed, and teams of policeman ran up to investigate. "What on Earth was that? Some random artillery barrage by the Croatians?" he said to his companion, General Winser. "It's unlikely, sir. Intelligence reports very few artillery pieces on the enemy's side, and those they do have don't have the range." The General looked at the smoke clouds ominously. "Sir, I would suggest you move your HQ further inland. And evacuate all high ranking military staff immediately. I don't like the looks of this." Klaus nodded and slowly turned away from the window. He quickly fired off a report to his adjutant, who then forwarded it to the other generals and staff officers in the city. Soon three more armored SUVs thundered out of the city. A large presence of junior officers, military police, and soldiers would remain in Matamoros. But the main generals would move their HQ to Chihuahua.
Texas, Near the Front
The dozens of tank columns suddenly noticed that an incoming enemy air wing. As AA trucks prepared to tackle this new threat, 60 fighter jets were called in to intercept the enemy. The armored column went on, slower this time. Hopefully the few enemy fighters left would be brought down by Capilean numbers.

Meanwhile a massive force, numbering some 200,000 infantry, converged on the tired 40,000 enemy troops. As they spilled over into enemy trenches, many rifles went on full automatic and screams rang out through the night. As the sky darkened, a massive melee free for all began in the trenches.

Warrentucky's Foreign Affairs Minister sends the following telegram to the United States of Columbia.

Thanks be to the Son of God, our Lord and Savior that your pious King, anointed from on high has prevailed in your Civil War.

May the one true God continue to bless your nation as you work to retake your lands from the followers of the Anti-Christ.

Warrentucky will offer both humanitarian and lethal assistance to your government. We are also willing to sell you oil and uranium at below market prices for the duration of the conflict.


[Be advised: Our airspace will remain closed and our border security will be tight for the remainder of the conflict. Any communist supporters found within our nation will be dealt with harshly or face possible extradition back to the USC.]

OOC: Treat Warrentucky as a small neighboring country that shares a small land border with the USC.

Independence Hall
A Blackhawk Mk. II helicopter descended to the ground in front of the Hall with a rush. Leaves were pushed away and tree branches waved in the artificial wind. Two Apache Attack Helicopters descended behind it. Out of the Blackhawk stepped an Ambassador and three guards. A guard stepped out of each of the Apaches, too. A message had been sent half an hour previously to the governments of the present nations informing them that an ambassador from the States would be present.
"Here we go." Said the ambassador as he straightened his bright red tie and began walking towards the Hall with his guards.

The Duke turned to see the ambassador coming back into the room. "Not really. Now please, do tell us what you have to discuss."

The ambassador took a moment to compose his speech, and then spoke loudly and clearly
'I have just returned from a conversation with the regent. Due to the requests / offers that were made before, he wishes to attend this conference personally. However, some details must be sorted out. Such as how long this conference will be lasting, and the security arrangements of this area.'
