Do you think it is possible to bring in reinforcements? I would they would have to be less than your original force, and should probably only arrive later, but I was just wondering, seeing as I don't have any of my dedicated warships actually involved in the fight.

You can bring in some reinforcements if you want. A lot of players have reserves on standby so sending reinforcements is a thing, aswell as bringing in special stuff that you didn't bring originally. Of course they won't arrive instantly and you can't just go and send fleet after fleet after fleet into the fight.

He is being pretty salty, his shields which would melt anything that comes in contact would have to work both ways. That means any reinforcements he tries to send will die, any of his allies going through will die. I highly doubt a soldier would be able to spot a cloaked ship without some extremely advanced equipment.
