AZEN Age of Chaos (OPEN, MT, CHARACTER ONLY) IC

Postby Azenyanistan » Sat Sep 26, 2015 5:04 am

Azenyanistan is split into many places. There are but only a few hundred thousand Azens in the region. The Arabs and the Kurds and Assyrians outnumber the Azens now. The conflict between Sunni and Shiite Muslims have come alive again. Nationalistic feelings are coming up again. The unity Azens brought to the region is now dying. Oasis is too new to this. The Speaker is losing influence over her people. Factions have emerged. Pro NPE factions have called themselves Novoyah Azens while the pro Azen factions have called themselves Azens simply. The loyalists have devoted themselves to Oasis and her friends. The traitors to destroying the Speakership and placing their own country under multiple foreign rulers. The unionists have allied with communists to assist their countrymen in the reunification of Azenyanistan and the possibility of Communist ideals in a democracy. Violetists are aiming to turn Azenyanistan into a shithole while the Catholics are aiming to end the peace the Muslims and Christians have joyfully agreed to under AZEN rule. Jewish factions are aiming to turn Azenyanistan into a country only for Jews while criminals aim to increase their influence. Azen national police are trying to keep order and AZEN soldiers of the SARAz are worried.

The Azens have been divided. Sorrow rules their minds. And worry dominates their thoughts. The nation of Azenyanistan is in chaos.

You are a foreigner or a local or even an AZEN. You came or went up to do something. Do it.

This is the IC thread of the AZEN Age of Chaos. This is in inspiration caused by the MOSCOW RP of Vanquaria (Thank you, Vanquaria!) as I wanted another roleplay because I was bored and because Azenyanistan has been leaking from the fictional world and into my world.

So, here are the rules:

No cheating

No god mod

No metagaming

No lying OOCLY

Kill Azens or save them

Characters only

CHARACTERS ONLY

This roleplay will always be open and will last until the end of the occupation of Azenyanistan which is for 77 IC years

Have fun!

Please make long posts!

The rules are here, so go ahead and have fun now!

Lasermaxx, somewhere in Azenyanistan

If there is one thing Lasermaxx reminds of both Jehiel and Maxinne is that they both enjoyed it together-but only twice, as their service was very long, with 12 months of away from home on end. Now they get to enjoy it everyday, the government having given them a blank check on their expenses-only to a point, however.

Jehiel imitated how he prepared his gun for combat despite the fact that this virtual gun never had to be prepared in that way. He then presses two imaginary buttons on his helmet, and when the laser tag room opens up Jehiel and Maxinne can feel a rush of adrenaline rushing through their veins. His heart was pounding. Her lungs were filled. Both of them were ready to fight, just as everyone in that place was.

The two soldiers were the only ones in their team, with the other teams being made mostly of children. They would have the definite edge of combat, given their experience as soldiers in the field. The iron sights were comfortable to them despite being very small, what with their eyes being strained on iron sights real hard. Both input their codenames, trying not to make an allusion to their identity in the Special Operations Command of Esalonia.

Once the dubstep played they began to go to battle, going side by side with each other as they sneaked upon the other teams that were hunting down each other. Occasionally they would get "hit", with the speakers next to them speaking about them getting hit. Otherwise they'd be mowing down groups easily with their virtual guns, with a group of campers easily gunned down by Jehiel's virtual laser gun. Now his laser gun was in full auto, depsite him being able to simulate it by double tapping.

After the laser tag game they immediately went back to their condo room which they rented for just a month. The condominium starkly contrasted the environment around them, with sectarian and religious violence among people of various beliefs raging while they were riding towards home.

Streets of the same city

They did not ride-instead they walked, appreciating the surroundings around them despite the occasional stray bullet making a near miss to them, as well as hitting a galvanized rooftop and boring a hole while at the same time making a sound that was a cross between a clang and a plop-a plang. They walked faster, hoping to reach the safety of the condominium on time before dusk-violence would be at the maximum at this, with the blood moon coming up at Sunday midnight, a signal of the end of the world, or so it was for them.

Now within the safety of their condominium, or the condo building's reception area at least, the couple went into a elevator, which had on it a silvery shine. WHen the doors would open up they would meet a scene starkly contrasting the monochromatic silver of the elevator. Jehiel presses the floor number 12, then goes to their condominium room.

-R18 PART REDACTED DUE TO FEAR OF MOD ACTION-

"Remember laser tag?" Yes I do." "How about tomorrow again?" "You know it's a bit of an expense, right? Plus, we gotta see something else." "Come on, honey, we got a blank cheque. The government just allowed us to spend within a 500 thousand dollar limit." "Still, my objective is to spend the least amount possible." "Then don't go on a safari." "yeah, you win Max. We go to the laser tag tomorrow, since it's a bit addicting. Now let's see who gets high score."

The couple cooked dinner. Jehiel's pork adobo and mushrooms cooked in the Happycall Double Sided Pan that was supplied, and the flavor never got to escape by even just a single bit. Maxinne loved the dinner, just like Jehiel, and ate heartily, agains just like Jehiel, although Jehiel was a bit formal in his eating. Pagtingin lang sa iyo, ulam na. This was the thought running in their minds as they occasionally looed at each other in the eyes and also talked a bit. Jehiel can see into Maxinne's eyes that she would be the perfect girl for his own concept of his own ideal man. What he saw may be a cliche in many love stories, with the colors in her eyes, and just the mere sight of those, making his day. But for him the colors in her eyes, however little meaning they have for an ordinary person, had so much meaning to him. He could see the living daylight in the dead night of war, the crucible in which their hearts, and their love for each other, were tested, forged, refined.

Maxinne saw an entirely different meaning in the colors of his eyes-she can see the competency of the ideal man. He would be persistent enough to win not only wars and a name but also his love.

-ANOTHER R18 PART IN THE BATHROOM REDACTED DUE TO FEAR OF MOD ACTION-

The couple never bothered dressing up-they wanted to feel the heat and flesh of each other. This could mean sleeping naked, with only their bodily hairs clothing them. Kissing each other good night they gave each other something to think of in their sleep, something to dream about yearning to receive the next day, for Maxinne's soft lips were like candy for Jehiel. The kiss indeed gave a sugary aftertaste arriving at the back of his tongue just mere seconds later. For Maxinne she can feel the warmth of a man's lips, a warmth that would then spread through her body, a warmth that she would blanket herself in her sleep.

Somewhere in Northern Afghanistan...

Saladin rode her white and pale horse into the remaining mountains of Afghanistan. Her horse, a powerful stallion, a mustang, took her to the mountain she herself called Sawaryahisah.

Saladin travelled in the night. The coolness of the air and the light the moon and stars brought on that time was enough to put her at ease as her horse galloped onward to Mount Sawaryahisah.

Saladin wore a black turban and black clothes, wearing glasses and nothing else. Only herself and her horse were travelling. This woman named after this great Saracen general. Who is she? No one knew. But her village knew. They were all dead though.

After much dust has been disturbed, the horse stopped at some part of the mountain and Saladin patted it a few times before dismounting and tying it to a wooden post which she has found lying on the ground. Her companions have awaited her.

"Peace be with you, Commander." whispered a young female voice with the accent of a Turk. The Saladin woman nodded and said in reply "And peace be upon you as well, soldier of Turkey and the Network."

soon, more appeared. 6 appeared.

Saladin smiled and shook her fist at them. They shook back. The group approached her and hugged her and kissed her. Saladin kept on saying "Good to see you all. Good to see you." The Saracens were smiling too. The soldier of Turkey then said to Saladin

"Please come. A fire and fowl as well as sheep and some good Pepsi and water waits you."

"And the other commanders? Perima?"

"They await you."

Soon...

The cave was large enough to hold a hundred men. A fire was there, warming the whole cave. 7 women with rifles and pistols were outside sitting on sandbags, serving as guards. Inside, more women and even children were there. Saladin entered and saw Kurds, Azens, Afghans, Turks, Iraqis and Iranians and only a few European Azens. Saladin said to all of them "Peace be upon you all!" And they replied with "Peace be with you and welcome!"

Then Saladin said
"Let us eat first. You must have been waiting for me so you may touch your food. Eat. And we shall have our first meeting here...in Afghanistan."

They cheered and began to eat. Saladin then took a seat and began to eat as well. Only meat and some bread were the food. Pepsi and water as available.

A week after the mission in WPT, and previously, in Moscow, Kotori was back again in her home, playing Battlefield 4 on PC for about 5 hours continuously. Despite being someone who complains about her mission and wished that she would be home, she realized that being on mission was more better than being here.
"I'm bored...." Kotori sighed as she quits the game and checks her account. "......Nothing? I wish I was still in the fucking army right now...Bet Junko's having fun back in WPT...". She goes to her bed and goes for a nap, then hears a knock on the door. When she opened it, it revealed a familiar face.

"Oh, Koko. What brings you here? How's your sister?"

"Heh. She's fine. Got a little bitchy when I told her of the news. Anyway, the Service has called you again. Says it's a mission in Azenyanistan. Some sort of sectarian violence there. Anyway, I'll take you to Command Central now."

Kotori was excited for this mission. Finally, a new job! she happily thought to herself. She immediately turns off her computer, puts her things away, shuts off her lights, and goes with Koko in her car to the Headquarters. They conversed with each other on the way there, chattering about recent events and how are they doing. Once they got there, Kotori steps off the car and thanks Koko for the ride. Koko also says goodbye and wishes her luck as the car speeds off.

When she got into the briefing room, she was once again greeted by her superior.
"Ah Kotori. Glad to see you here relax and rested. Surprised your not complaining this time." Questions her superior.

"I'm bored back at home and there's not much to do since everyone's SOOOOOO busy right now why not partake in another mission?"

"Glad to see you in high spirits then, Snips. Because this mission will most likely be like the one back in Moscow."

"Oh goodie goodie! Just brief me on the mission." Exclaimed Kotori in anticipation. She had seen all sort of horrible things back in the damned hellhole of Moscow, from civilians getting shot by Vanquarians, hyper-active drugged-up secret agent schoolgirls armed with high-powered weapons, a zombie apocalypse, Cultists with their sick and twisted ways, and having to run around in a maid costume. But she didn't care, after all, it was quite a thrilling experience.

"Okay then. as to not delay you even further, this will be the mission."

The large monitor turns on alongside several images of what was happening in the other parts of Azenyanistan.
"So apparently, tensions in the other parts of Azenyanistan are increasing everyday, especially in the Filipino-controlled territory. Multiple factions have sprung up seeking control of the region, most of them sectarian, such as Muslims, Jews, Christians, Violetists, the whole bunch, heh apparently the Filipinos somehow failed to take action into this, that or they don't give a shit.

The Azen Government is now in disarray as to what to do, the SARAz is placed on high alert. Our borders between the NPE-Controlled and Vanquarian-Controlled Azen has been twice as bolstered as before, completely shutting down the border. We, however suspect that a party is responsible for this mess, and they maybe one of them."

"They?" Kotori asked.

"They." The superior replied, then displaying a satellite photo of a weapons crate, apparently with the Rinoan Cartel markings.

"You don't mean-"

"Yes, Kotori, they maybe one of them. We're not sure that they actually are the masterminds, but we are definitely sure that they play a part. Your task is to investigate the root of this problem and fix it, your secondary would be to terminate any Cartel activities in the area. Backup can be requested if needed. Insertion will be through the SARAz-Filipino border, you will have to insert covertly as to not attract attention to the Filipinos. Get in, do your job, and get out, just like Moscow. Any questions?"

Kotori says nothing and instead shakes her head.

"Good, you'll be in an C-130 heading towards SARAz with supplies. Once there, you can rest up in the base then head towards the border. Now gear up, suit up, and move out. Good luck, Snips."

She salutes the commander and leaves the room, heading towards the armory. Once there, she gets her gear and picks out what weapon she would use. She gets the MR-73 that she used in Moscow, and places it on her holster, then she finds a Sub Machine Gun that catches her eye.

Image

She asks the armorer if she could use this weapon. The armorer nods, then she places the SMG onto her pack. Once she was packed up and ready, she heads towards the nearby airbase and gets in the C-130 as asked. Her superior gets one final briefing and equipment check with her before the C-130 leaves. Once that was done, the superior leaves and tells her 'good luck'. As the aircraft takes off, she plugs in her earphones to her phone, played some Music and dozes off a bit. Knowing that another long and dangerous mission would be ahead of her

Saladin The Great

Postby Azenyanistan » Sat Sep 26, 2015 8:06 pm

As the Saracens ate, the Saladin or Koyah, as known by her name before, spoke to her hosts

"I came from Iran as soon as I could before the borders closed. It is fortunate to know that it was the Esgonians who are taking action to close it and not us. But it is a problem. With the borders close, we cannot cross without alerting the SARAz. And so we cannot cross without alerting the Filipinos."

Her hosts agreed, speaking words of agreement.

Then a Turk said

"Indeed. The foreigners are going too far. They might be supporting the factions against one another. There might be another genocide."

The people then spoke out their comments and murmured. Saladin quieted them with the show of her right fist.

She put her fist down then said

"How many of us? How many of us are ready to fight? How many Saracens?"

A European said

"Saladin, we have 700."

She shook her head and said "That is too little. We need 7000. Or 70000."

A Persian said

"But Saladin, that is too many."

Saladin shook her head

"Not too many. Not too many. We can hide. The foreigners cannot. The other factions cannot."

Another Turk said

"Where will we hide?"

"In the mountains, in the caves, in the cities. We will hide. We must imitate the Saracens before, the people of our region before our time. We must imitate them, the people during the time of the Crusades."

Perima, the SARAz Commander, who sneaked out with the excuse of seeing some of her relatives in northern Afghanistan, said

"We will hide. And we will be many. Saladin, my friends, this is an age of chaos. Azenyanistan is collapsing. She is dying. She is weakening. She is fading away. Why should we let that? We should not let that. The foreigners have indeed gone too far. The foreigners are not doing good. Esgonia is okay, Ratte is okay, the allies of our country before are okay. But not Vanquaria and the Filipino Empire. I spit on their faces as much as you spit on theirs too. Cirilla may have been our greatest enemy before but not now. Cirilla is helping our country. But it is not stopping her allies, the wicked ones, the Vanquarians from the north, the Filipinos from the east."

Saladin said, standing

"Iraq, Iran, Syria...our homelands were taken by the NPE. And because of that, many chose to leave. But many remain as well. This is not good."

Then there was more murmuring. Saladin quieted them again.

She said

"I will go to Turkey. I will ask for the help of my friends who are also Saracens. Then I will go to Syria, just to check on how my homeland is doing. Then I will return here. When I return, we must have over 700 men. We will also need water, food, weapons, ammunition and uniforms and helmets and some tanks and a lot of fast moving vehicles when I return."

Her hosts murmured again until Perima spoke to Saladin

"Saladin, you know you are not welcome and that you are not loved by the Azen factions who support the NPE there. Why go back to Syria, your home, just to check them? You could just ask our Syrian siblings in the network."

Saladin shook her head and said

"I am an Azen, bound by the ideals of my country. I am a Syrian, born in the region and in the land of my parents and my neighbors. And I am also a Kurd, like Saladin of before."

They all nodded and said words of approval or agreement. Then Saladin said

"Brothers, sisters...before I leave, we must meet the other leaders. And yes...we must meet with the SARAz in secret. I will be your representative."

Cpt. Price.
He walked along the dirt and sand riddled wastes. After his successful effort to get away, due to a complete lack of evidence, he was kicked out of the army, but was like his old friend in the SARAz, a Azen citizen now. He had heard rumors of a Azen "Crusade" in the area, and was looking to see if this was true. He had no weapons but was interested in attacking the Filipino menace.

There was apparently few caves around here in this wasteland, and he was determined to find this Crusade, at whatever cause. Some could say, he was looking to be Lawrence of Arabia, a foreigner who assisted the Arabs in defeating the oppressors. He didn't know it, beautiful he'd be doing it alongside Saladin.

A few armed Afghan women were on the road Captain Price was taking as well. They had rifles and pistols. But they were in their belts or bags. The Afghans saw him and one of them approached him on her horse. She said to him

"Who are you, stranger and why are you here in Afghanistan? Are you looking for water?"

It was getting dark.

The Afghan women stopped and waited for their companion to finish conversing with the foreigner.

The woman sighed and said, looking around

"My name is from the Azens. I am Nakuyah. Who are you? I can take you to where you want to go."

Nakuyah nodded and said to him

"I am going to the northern mountains of Afghanistan. I am going to join the Saracens. Rumors are spreading fast. The Saracens are telling people. I, Nakuyah, and my friends are going to Saladin. She is in the mountains with her fellow leaders. We must hurry. Get on my horse, Price. And perhaps when you are there, you will become captain again. Here, drink some water. Then we ride."

Nakuyah tossed a canteen full of ice water to Price. And the Afghans smiled and conversed among themselves about this man.

He took a few sips before hoping unto this strangers horse. was he being led to a honest to Mari crusade? Or was it just a ruse for him to be kidnapped? Oh well, might as well risk it. Not like he had anything better to do. He looked at his clothes. He had a cloth covering his head from the sun, held by a band. He was wearing mostly white, and only wore light and soft clothing. Tight clothes were horrible in this heat. He commented "So, where is this Crusade? Tell me more."

Hours later, Nakuyah and her Afghan friends and Price were in the mountain that Saladin and her fellow Saracens were. They were guided into the cave by several Afghan and Azen Saracen guards who were on the bottom of the mountain. Saladin, herself welcomed them.

She said to the newcomers "Peace be with you."

And Nakuyah returned her greeting with "And with you as well."

Saladin said "Are you not Muslim, sister?"

"I am not. I am an athiest. I have lost all faith because of the Azen Wars and because of the Genocide."

"I understand. Please, all of you come inside."

They went inside but Saladin spoke to Price, blocking his way

"You are a foreigner. And I think your face is familiar. You look like one of those soldiers from the islands. WPT?"

She also said

"Our numbers are low. We are only 700. When I return, I hope there will be 7000 or 70000 waiting for me."

I will lead my people. And I will train them by example as well. Yes, I will drill them until they are crack riflemen of the Saracen Network. I will also have my people smuggle in better guns. Perhaps the nearby towns and cities would be glad to sell or donate their weapons and ammunition to us.

My Saracens will imitate his people as best as they can and I will imitate him as best as I can. We know a secret set of paths into Iran. Iran is our target for our crusade and our jihad. We have water here and food here. I have a map that can tell you where our food, our water and our supplies are. We also have a few villages who support us and give us what we need when we visit.

And the other reason why Saladin won was because his enemy was exhausted. They came without water. They should not have come, they must have stayed in Jerusalem otherwise they would be dehydrated enough to fight without any spirit or energy.

I have squads of scouts. Should I train them better too?"

"I know in fact, it's not unreasonable to say that Saladin didn't win, the Crusaders won for him. Good, you're a good leader. Chrisma, spirit, and numbers. Good to know you have a set target. Remember to discipline them. It ensures that they stay on the objective. Everything's good, and yes, train the scouts. Training never hurts."

"Wise words. Well, I'll be a little honest here. I am not in support of the WPT government, it is extremely war-like and only started focusing on it's people recently. I was brought to court for High Treason, and would have served 15 years, but I was acquitted due to a lack of any evidence. I moved here, with a friend, and we're still in contact. He is settled down in the Azen police force, and isn't taking sides. I, however, despite hating my nation's government, hate the Filipinos and Vanquarians more. Funny how we were allies, oh so long ago... Anyways, shall I stay here? I'm willing to assist."

"I will be staying here for a few days. Then I must travel to my friends in Turkey. And I must be frank as well. I am here, by the will of God...or not, to change Azenyanistan. Azenyanistan must stop giving up. It must stand up until it cannot stand up anymore. Azenyanistan must be ruled by good people with very good personality and character and skill. Azenyanistan must remain. It must be reunited. It must be changed. It must stop her wars and focus on her people as well.

Water is running out from this land. Oil is being taken away. Property is being sold and taken away. Many things are being lost. I have prayed for rain so many days until now. Rain is very important. Without water, Azenyanistan will die. Only the Azen islands remain. And I do not like the cold when it is too strong. Your friend must never take sides. He is like the Jehovahs Witnesses! A neutralist! That is actually good.

And please do assist. And if I die, take over. And perhaps...you will earn your place in Azenyanistan as hero."

"I know. I haven't kept myself uninformed here, nothing better to do. But you see, Azenyanistan can barely stand. They have been weakened many times. She can't keep fighting like this, and so, this Crusade must be as successful as possible. Show the Filipinos imperialism comes with consequence. Risk. This must work, and I will do everything in my power to make this as successful as possible. If you wish, call me Laurence. Laurence of Arabia. I sure look like it with this robe over my head. Anyways, we'll get prepared, get good at fighting, get disciplined, get prepared, and then strike. We'll strike the Filipino towns, loot them, raid them, destroy them, but not harm a single woman or child. Public support is vital. Cut off communications, disrupt supply lines, make the Filipinos fight as hard as possible. And scatter and flee at sign of trouble so they waste large amounts of money and other things trying to kill small groups."

"And like the Vietnamese and the Afghans and the Cubans, we must slowly transition from insurgency and guerrilla warfare to conventional warfare, with captured or donated weapons, ammunition, vehicles and other things. Azenyanistan can barely stand. But she is still standing. If I must, I will make Azenyanistan crash and I will make out of her a new Azenyanistan. And yes, Price...Price of Azenyanistan...this network will not harm anyone who is not fighting. I swear to God.

When we get 7000 or 70000, we must change from insurgents...to soldiers. Iran first. Then Iraq. Then Syria.

That is my plan. Iran, Iraq, Syria.

And I say to you, Price, I will observe my men and my men will observe their comrades as they evacuate the civilians to other towns. Like Saladin, we must overwhelm the enemy with kindness and gentleness. Mercy is our quality. As well as friendship.

Loyalty too. But there are anti-loyalists. Azenyanistan is going into a time of chaos, an age of chaos. And if they strike us with COIN?"

Background theme
After a few long hours of flying, the transport craft was now closing in on SARAz, with the C-130 preparing to land at Aberdeen Air Force Base. Kotori, who was snoring, was woken up by one of the soldiers waking her up to alert them of their landing as the pilot announces on the intercom.
"Attention, Passengers, we are now closing in on Aberdeen. Please attend to your belongings as we begin our descent onto the runway."
The pilot then calls the tower.

"Aberdeen, this is Charon-5. requesting permission to land."

"Charon-5, this is Aberdeen. You are cleared to land, over."

Kotori, having woken up, prepares for the landing alongside the others. The plane begins to decrease altitude and brings down its landing gear as they get near the runway. Then there was a slight bump as the wheels touch the runway, knocking a few off their feet and the plane begins to slow down. After half a minute, the plane stops and the rear-loading ramp begins to open. The pilot then says on the intercom.
"Thank you for flying Air Charon, I hope you enjoyed your flight and we hope to see you again soon."

After the ramp is fully open and the supplies were brought out of the plane, she begins to step off the plane and looks at the surroundings, the sun blinding her.
Damn, it's hot.. as she squints and begins to cover her eyes from the sun. She tried to look around for the HQ when she was patted on the shoulder. Looking behind her, was Colonel Arkady Kristal. The head of operations for the new AFB. He introduces himself to Kotori.

"I am Colonel Kristal, commander of the Aberdeen Air Force Base. You must be from the Service, I see?"

Kotori stood straight and saluted him.

"Yes sir. Kotori Brunshelm of the Esgonian Intelligence Service."

"Good, you're finally here. I see you're still tired from the long trip. You can rest up in the quarters over there and prepare for deployment later. Seems that the violence was worse than we thought."

"Alright then." She replied. "I'll prepare my things, sir. And thank you."
Kotori then heads towards the quarters and places her stuff on the corner of the room as she prepares her things. She gets her vest, places her magazines inside, along with a few stun and fragmentation grenades, her SMG, nicknamed "Mags.", being cleaned and to check for any problems, and her revolver, being loaded and placed in her holster. As soon as she was finished, she placed them onto her bag, along with some other items inside and rests up.

Meanwhile, a combat patrol of 12 men were patrolling around the mountainous regions when they spot a multitude of caves, something that they did not spot before. Thinking that there would be any fighters of the NIS there, they enter the caves.
Another generic Westernized/Japanized nation with some Eastern stuff to it. Nothing special.

"Those caves you see and have entered are not full but are empty. These caves will soon be the ones that will store our extra supplies and ammunition and weapons. Who are you and are you looking for the New Islamic State? They are gone but some of their fighters have joined our cause. We are not rebels and we will never be rebels." Said a voice from the inside of one of those caves.

"You may be COIN operatives but I know your methods. My name is Wasarah, a name given to me by one of my Azen mothers. But I am an Afghan. Why is it that you are being sent here and not the troops of The Great Banshee? Is she not here?"

The voice then said

"Lower your weapons, you are entering Saracen territory. Do not engage us. We mean no harm."

Somewhere in Afghanistan
Captain Co, Maxinne Denise C & SGM Malan, Jehiel Lyre L.

It was a good time for the two to get closer, for military service brought them apart since both were in different branches. Jehiel, for one, was in the United Commonwealth Navy SEALs (Sea, Air, Land), while Maxinne herself being in the TUCARELI (The United Commonwealth Army's Elite Light Infantry). Both were on station at different places at any time, and at unfortunately timed situations that impeded any form of contact between them.

They decided to ride around the desert, to a place known for many caves. Stopping when they were near, they pulled out their maps and though about spelunking. The caves dotted this particular place in Afghanistan, resembling a line of blackheads on a nose when viewed from a certain point of view. For both they were exhilarated to see the caves, and the thought of having to walk gave them energy.

However the caves gave them no good feelings later-eventually a memory of the place being a certain "Crusade" surfaced, making them suspicious of the area. They also felt their hands itching and involuntarily reaching out for their MD P92 (a machine pistol designed and manufactured by Macaraig Defense), chambered for a deadly PDW cartridge: the MD 7.62 x 33mm. These were monolithic AP bullets, which could carve a net whole through armor rated to UL 752 Lvl 7 from the barrel of an MD P91 (a submachine gun designed and manufactured by said company). Despite the rather high muzzle energy for a gun the pistol was relatively stable thanks to a system that transmitted recoil force down and away from the user.

With one hand on their concealed carry holsters, they walked the desert, with their minds' alertness heightened. "Stay frosty, Max, this is the Wild West." Jehiel said as he took the pointman position, with his fingers going itsy bitsy spider and ready to pull out a pistol and fire at someone. Maxinne was also feeling the same-she was also suspicious and ready to fight. "Jehiel...I guess...remember I love you, ok?" Maxinne said, with a tone saying of concern for the guy who, like Maxinne, was ready to shoot to the death anyone who attacked them. Maxinne's words flattered Jehiel-for the first time since Annika someone told him she loves him. Unnoticeable to Maxinne, a rush of blood fills Jehiel's cheeks, with Jehiel smiling as if he wanted to bury his smile underneath a good layer of skin. Jehiel turns to Maxinne after he stops blushing and replied "Roger that, Love you too, Maxinne.". The couple looked for a while at each other, with Jehiel thinking about kissing her in the middle of a desert. For him it was no shame-he can freely kiss Maxinne and shout "I love you, Captain Co!" despite being of a lower rank than Maxinne-for now, they were not soldiers, but lovers.

It eased his feelings to a point where he came to Maxinne and touched her cheeks, his fingertips touching her nape. In a cinematic event he leans his head to one side and when their face were close he closed his eyes. He moved his face nearer until their lips touched. FOr Maxinne she simply let Jehiel do his thing, and she closed her eyes when Jehiel did. They held their kiss, and after almost 15 seconds of holding the kiss Jehiel tasted a sweet aftertaste at the rear corners of his tongue.

Little did they know someone was already watching them from a distance, curious about the couple.

Meanwhile, 7 of the soldiers, most of them armed with the tried-and-true KbS wz. 76 Assault Rifle, the Esgonian version of the AK-74 Assault Rifle chambered in standard 5.56x45mm, who stayed in the Humvee to call for backup after being alerted of the cave, then spots a couple heading towards the caves where the others headed. They questioned how the couple are even in this area, considering what's further here is the Vanquarian border, where only border guards are present in the area. Once the couple was closing in on the cave and the male started giving his partner a French Kiss or some sort, 3 of them moved towards the couple, 2 of them raising their weapons as the third soldier started to shout at them.

"Hey! Who are you and what are you doing here? You know this area isn't safe, right?!"

Meanwhile inside, the team hears voices coming from the cave, apparently from Azens, saying they were from the "Saracen Network." Once they confirmed they were friendly, they lowered their weapons and goes deeper into the cave and noticed that Perima, the SARAz commander, was one of them.

The commander asked the Azens:
"So, who are you people? And Miss Perima, why are you with them?"
