Near the Fascist evacuation beach, Louisiana, the 24th hour
Sergeant Fahad Badour stared into the darkness before him as the tank he was riding on thundered forward. He was part of several squads of Akbarstani elite troops-the Green Falcons-who were seeking out the escaping Fascist troops. He wore night vision goggles in the pitch blackness, as did his squad which sat on either side of him. Out of nowhere, an RPG fired, and the tank before them exploded.
"Get down!" he cried, jumping off of his tank and into the brush beside the road. Guns started rattling off from both sides. He turned on his laser pointer on his MP5 and fired randomly to his left. His squad were taking casualties. He swore. He yelled at one of his privates, "Get the damn Javelin!" The man passed him the rocket launcher and he fired it into the general direction of where the fire was coming from.
Smoke wafted into the air and he heard the screams of several men. The gunner of his tank fired as well. In return, another RPG was fired, destroying his tank. The rest of the column had been destroyed or were retreating. He and four men were all that were left. He swore again as bullets flew overhead. He grabbed the radio from his dead radioman and called in to command. "Yes?" "We're pinned down near the enemy beach! We're taking heavy casualties! We need immediate assistance!" "Yes, sir."

OOC: Assistance or no, you're dead. You'd better high-tail it outta there, because my men don't want to make it through a whole damn war and back to a boat to get back to their families only to get killed before they even get on said boat. They'll fight to the last drop of blood in their bodies to get out of there, and they'll intentionally make each of your men lose every drop in theirs until they leave. Plus, we have better tech, and a larger force. Standing in our way is like a defiant, plump house cat standing in between a starved tiger and a juicy, plump elk, and then threatening its cubs.

Standing offshore, the neutral Ukrainian naval ship U753 Gorlovka, carrying an humanitarian cargo of grain, observed the ferocious fighting.

Lieutenant-Commander Roman Ryabko paced the bridge, worriedly. His ship was unarmed, a simple aging cargo ship which was permitted to sail without warning through the Bosphorus Straights on humanitarian missions, and thus had been able to quickly deploy to meet this most recent crisis. The lack of legal restrictions normally would have calmed the young officer, but he had now found himself in a combat zone, completely defenseless. He grabbed the radio, spoke in broken English. "This is Ukraine Navy. We are neutral shipping, where is safe port? Please acknowledge."

"Sir, we got 'n un-known ship claimin' t' be from th' Ukraine, sir." The Lieutenant spoke in the accent and careless English of a man from the deep south. The bridge of the ship shook slightly as another thousand-pound bomb went off in the city, demolishing three buildings and probably taking hundreds of lives. Captain Wilson spoke.
"Can the fleet spare a single non-carrying ship, Lieutenant?"
"Yessir, Cap'n."
"Good. Divert from our current cruising course and bring us along the ship's starboard. Make sure all weapons are armed and alert me when we are beside them."

The NMK's humanitarian forces were operating in a number of areas, clustered mostly around the initial landing point in Oregon. The area's residents had been friendly and welcoming, and their actions have definitely made a difference. The evacuation program was proceeding slowly, but otherwise successfully despite the attempts of the fascists. However, it was not all good. The conflict and ensuing battles had caused moderate losses to all branches of the stationed force - especially on the front lines, away from where things were known to be clearer and more secure. There had been no serious setbacks, although a few groups were wiped out entirely.

Meanwhile, back in the NMK there was talk and people were preparing for another public speech.

The regent appeared on the screen and said "Greetings, Mushroomians. I bring both good news, and bad. The good news is that the troops and other support we have deployed to Columbia are doing excellent humanitarian work, and have even evacuated a small amount of people. They are really doing a good job, and we should be proud of their actions. However, it pains me to say that due to actions of the fascist forces, there have been some losses. They have not achieved any major victories, but closer to the front lines of the conflict their actions have resulted in some casualties. They died doing great things, and those of us that are religious should pray for them. God rest their souls. Finally, I would like to make a request and announcement to the world - I am ordering there to be a trade embargo on the United Fascist States of America and I strongly encourage that every other party in this conflict also do so. They do not deserve to have our goods in their ports. Thank you, this concludes this broadcast."

The tank column rolled down the hill and into the fray. Bullets thudded into the armoured shells of the tanks. Soldiers flooded out of them and hit the ground, firing rapidly. "Finally!" Sergeant Badour yelled. But the fascists still fought like hell. Hours later, as the sun began to rise, they still hadn't broken. "Call in artillery!" Badour ordered one of the reinforcements. The fascists would feel hell soon enough.

OOC: Again, I doubt a humanitarian force from a *most likely* smaller and less powerful nation could hold back thousands of desperate soldiers from a larger, much more advanced and more powerful nation with a deadline for getting the hell out of there. But that's over, so the remaining forces will have to use the fact that they have nothing else to live for to kill as many as possible as fast as possible. But they won't be our actions anymore!

"Sir!" the sergeant's voice crackled over the radio to Akbarstani Command. "Yes?" "We have overrun the enemy positions. The rest continue to flee, but we have helicopters and men closing in on them!" "Excellent."

OOC: Did you not see my post? They're desperate, more advanced, more powerful, and are coming at you in greater numbers. Where do you have the advantage again? Whatever, I don't care. I'm already gone as soon as I teach that Ukrainian humanitarian guy a lesson titled 'The Affects of a 36-Inch Naval Gun on a Small Shipping Boat'.

But that's over, so the remaining forces will have to use the fact that they have nothing else to live for to kill as many as possible as fast as possible. But they won't be our actions anymore!

(OOC: I doubt they would hold your forces off forever or in a prolonged siege but the NMK has a very strong military. Firstly, we have a strong, expansive industry of arms manufacturing, which ensures we have a large, ample supply of decent weaponry as well as a substantial stock, range, and quality of higher-level advanced weapons. Secondly, the NMK has a large powerful economy (it has drawbacks, namely the fact that there is corruption and waste everywhere) combined with a moderately high tax rate so that the government has plenty of money to spend. We spend approximately 37% of this large government budget on Defense, which also includes the general military spending.)

50,000 soldiers began loading into the twelve frigates, two destroyers, one aircraft-carrier and countless personnel-carriers.
They were heading towards Texas, were they would set up and defend it's border between Mexico and Texas.
The goal was; Build a mine-fence, mines going along the whole border, let refugees through and into built camps.

As to HYDRA: I got it, but WTF? I left just like you said. Come on, man! I only have a single vessel in the USC's waters, and that's just because it's waiting for a reply. Literally all my other troops- minus the few thousand left behind- are in international waters or airspace and headed home. Or dead. Mostly headed home, though. So unless you're talking about the remainder, I don't know how the hell you'll justify this, but whatever.

And don't worry about my troops still there fighting before you attack. They're not going to make it long even if you don't have surprise on your side. But keep in mind, half of them have already dispersed and will be miles and miles away by the time you meet up with them. Many are hiding, and a few won't even fight.

It's midnight, at the southern border between Mexico and Texas, the frigates and destroyers halted a few miles off the coast, and a hundred manned-personnel carriers set off, the water glinted as the full-moon lit up the sky. The Military were to land the men in chunks, each 10 thousand strong in hourly intervals. The first ten thousand stormed the beach and into Broomsville and Matamoros, the wary people came outside with relieved faces and clapped as the men came past. Each one happy to let them check their homes. Immediatly, the men got to work.

Mines started to come in sealed boxes, and the men started putting up signs and dismantling the borders, it was weird to the public, however. The men were "nationalising" and had started putting "Welcome to Hrvatska" signs on the ex-texas mexican borders. It felt as if they have came to stay.

OOC: Well things appear to have gotten worse since I last posted or checked.

King Foley looked at the President with pure confusion. Here was the man who's forces were being demolished left, right, and center, yet HE was the one how insisted on being in charge of security. Then again he didn't have much tech like the King did.
"So I take it we're having a ceasefire until the outsiders are forced out?" The President asked.
Foley nodded.
It'd been almost a year since the U.S.C had been torn apart by civil war and driven to near extinction. Farmlands were razed and slated, Hawai'i was dead, hundreds of years of history destroyed and made irreparable, and worse, half the population was dead, maimed, or driven to suicide.
"So," the King asked as he and the President walked into reclaimed Independence Hall "what are the terms considering I'd rather this Revolution be done with."

OOC: Perhaps some sort of Constitutional Monarchy can be established? Splitting up the nation would only lead to more conflicts, so it seems the only way to go if you want to restore Columbia. Then again, we could probably smash the Nationalists and get an absolute monarchy going, as soon as the Fascists are gone.

"So there will be peace talks?". The Duke paced around his temporary office in the city hall. "I want to fly out there right now. Capile must have a say in this thing." "Yes my liege, we'll prepare your things and jet immediately."
Mexico City
With all of Mexico under firm Monarchist control, and with the Fascists pulling out, the Capileans had resumed their northward march. Food and supplies were handed out to all the civilians they passed, and many cheered as the troops marched through Texas. After several hours though, the forward forces had an interesting report:
A young Major walked through the tent flaps and saluted to Klaus(who was now heading the Capilean troops. "Herr General, I bring a disturbing report from the front lines. It appears Belovinnian(OOC: Sorry if I spelled that wrong) forces have occupied Columbian territory up ahead in Texas. It looks like they are planning to annex it!" Klaus looked up form his breakfast and nearly spat his coffee out. "What! I thought they were on a peacekeeping mission! This is an outrage!" Klaus quickly drew up some demands and handed them to the officer. "Take these to Colonel Nemetz, 1st Expeditionary, and tell him to read it to the Belovinnians."

An hour later, six heavy tanks rumbled up the dirt pathway, seeing a small town in front of them, and several Belovinnian soldiers. The tank hatches opened, and a flag of truce was raised. Walter Nemetz then popped out of the tank with a megaphone. "Hello, Belovinnians. It has come to our attention that you have annexed this area, which is rightfully Columbian. We represent the Capilean forces, allied with the Monarchists, and here are our demands: One, that you give all land you have unrightfully annexed back to the Columbian government; which side, we don't care; Two, that you withdraw all military forces you have in Texas; and Three, that you reimburse all Columbians for what you have taken from them. You have 24 hours to answer our demands or meet with us to discuss them. Keep in mind that we outnumber your forces by almost 400,000, not to mention Monarchist forces in the area, and our large flotilla in Tampico. Once again, you have 24 hours. Thank you." With that the hatch closed and the tanks drove off.

The Secretary of Freedom, whom was newly appointed landed on the island, accompanied by her own personal guards. She was put their to make sure that the "freedom process" would go well, and to discuss any plans with other nations that wouldn't like it that way.

Mary (Secretary of Freedom) got into a slick, black SUV guarded by two not so slick, black SUV's. They drove off to Mexico City. Intel had said that "not friendly" forces reside their, and that they are willing to talk. One thing is for sure is that Hrvatska won't give up it's freedom process.

She entered the quiet highway, only to be surrounded by cars full of men. "Follow us" they reported. We did, they lead us to Walter Nemetz. Mary had put out a warning;

"Your attempts at stopping the freedom process that we have begun is futile. We won't stop annexing the cities and villages along the border. If you believe that sending 400,000 soldiers to a harmless city only full of 100,000 citizens will solve anything, then you are greatly mistaken. If you dare send your men anywhere near us and/or you try and stop our process in any way we will declare that a hostile action towards Hrvatska."


Mary was smart, she told her men before she went to Mexico City to begin placing mines surrounding the city.

Another twenty thousand soldiers were planned to be put on the island in-light of threats. They were to continue annexing the following cities that reside west of Matamoros.
