Through the mist, like a giant red megalith, the Phōksasvāna, a Gyrjachi oil tanker gently glided through the freezing waters of the Möşküyre Sea. On its bridge, a scowling man was planted behind the central control panel, hatred, deceit and villainy etched onto his scarred face. He hands shook, his arms quivered and his legs were wobbling.
"Varu, are you sure we need to do this?" Squirmed a young man, fumbling with his hoodie tassels.
"Garoli, if you don't have the stomach to complete this mission, throw yourself off my ship. I have my orders. This is our last chance. For the last time have these wretches humiliated us."

A light film of haze glazed over the eyes of Night Watch Officer Maikl Khyyren as he sipped the last dregs of his skinny hazelnut latte. His eyes made out the little blue triangle approaching at relative speed. Almost a single nautical mile from Imperial Krïdan waters and no radio contact. Maikl's brows formed a light frown.
"Er, Phōksasvāna, this is His Imperial Majesty's Frontier Constabulary, we demand that you state your destination and cargo."
Silence.
"Phōksasvāna?"

"Commander! We've scanned the bridge, no one seems to be piloting the freighter." Exclaimed Lieutenant Ölgyyz Temür, striding over to the command panel from a far side of the bridge.
"I'll order Güür prepare a boarding party. I don't like this at all. Ask maritime command for some air assets." Replied Commander Khynjin Ülyağaan, fingering the collar of his aqua camouflage combats.
"Phōksasvāna, this is your last warning. Make radio contact immediately or we will board the vessel and take control of it by using whatever force it takes." Khynjin was now nervous, this freighter, supposedly unmanned was heading at alarming speed towards one of the empire's largest ports for chemicals and heavy industries. Maritime was being slow and lethargic to respond. He watched intently as marines strapped on tactical vests, tightened their chin straps and cocked their rifles. Suddenly, the freighter lurched, smashing into the starboard side of the patrol frigate, sending the boarding party assembled sprawling over the deck. Like a pencil shaving, the frigate was swept aside by the freighter as it veered sharply on its port side.
"This is Commander Ülyağaan of the TKMS Schøjkterzee, the Phōksasvāna has suddenly changed course, possible damage to our ship. I demand immediate support, or permission to open fire!"
"This is Maritime Control, Commander, do not open fire, we are sending helicopters to assist you now. Do not open fire, I repeat do not open fire."
"Oh God...." Groaned Ülyağaan, sensing the inevitable.

Like meerkats fleeing from a jackal, port staff, sailors, crane workers and a host of miscellaneous people fled the waterfront in senseless panic. People tripped up, swore, screamed or stood in abject fear as the huge red freighter cut through the water at terrifying speed. A deafening crunch resounded through the fleeing masses, sending cargo boxes and tanks flying. Then, like the roars of an angry lion, explosions ripped through the port, incinerating everything in a 500 metre radius, fires scorched everything for a mile.

A freighter, carrying explosives ploughed into Şiljitÿnkhyyrve Port at 07:05 this morning, before exploding, incinerating much of the waterside and burning a lot of the port itself. Hundreds are believed to be dead and thousands injured. Scores of firefighters and emergency services have been rushed to the seen but already dozens of these may have perished in the ferocious blaze. Water is being airdropped onto the city but to little avail. It is unknown who is behind the attack, but security services are already investigating into the possible suspects.
