She takes a deep breath and said

''Uh, sorry everyone for my late arrival. I am the governor of New Azenyanistan and shall address concerns of the Middle East provinces of the Empire.''
He sat down, face red for being late. He then noticed the NPE representative laughing like a manic. He nodded at him then noticed Banshee. He gave his wife a quick glance and then gathered up a bundle of papers onto his table. Work, work. There was never time for personal relationships.
This time he had come without his usual small army of bodyguards as he was running late though his trusty Desert Eagle that slaughtered many in Mecca was with him, he thought with satisfaction.

That piss poor attempt at invading Azenyanistan a few weeks earlier had simply failed before it started, and every nation that had promised to stop their conquest had simply ignored it. The Menovolsians tried to pass it off as a military exercise, but the damage to their reputation was done.

And remember Kaiserin, if the NPE agrees to relinquish all land when reconstruction completes, and they don't, then we would have a Casus Belli to declare war with."

If they wish to declare independence from Azeniyanistan and go their own way, then they will. It is saddening to see that a country willing to uphold the Turkish people's right to self determination is considered imperialist." Abishag told Ivan. "We shall do what we need to do to ensure that the Turkish people are happy and content. Like I have repeatedly said, we will only stay for as long as the Turkish people want us to stay. Once fifteen years pass, the referendum will show what they want to do with their soil, their birthright. This is Ganosia's position on this matter, and we insist on its unconditional acceptance, lest the Turks are to be told that their self-determination is at the mercy of foreigners."

Abishag sagely nodded, finishing her juice, and then added, "And what then? More pointless bloodshed?"
