If you can mass-produce an endless amount of fighters, then you can be part of Grunder Industries.

Pitching a idea?
What if I produce scout craft? Like, we take a fighter, strip it bare, take off all the weapons for weight purposes, and modify the aircraft to carry a large camera of sorts to take pictures?

I have Blackbirds for that.
And they've been modernized to fly over Mach 3-4

1,320 MPH, so Mach 2. How fast were you planning on having your scout plane go?

Hmm. The only plane I have in a factbook goes faster than that.

But mine are cheaper. And flexible. And they don't need to stop to get a decent picture. Also, there is a system that can make 3-D portraits (real thing :D).

Woah, mach 5?? Slow down there buddy, that takes some serious engineering. We're talking orbital velocity right now. Which gives me an idea about solving our little recon plane problem...

i like cheap planes but i want our planes to cost a decent amount
the more they cost the better the plane is
i think :/

How about this: my industry is working on developing an engine that uses fusion of common gasses like nitrogen and oxygen for propulsion. The first production version, engineers believe, is capable of giving a medium-sized fighter (like an F-14, for example) a thrust-to-weight ratio of 3:1 and an in-atmosphere top speed of around mach 4. Since it uses liquid hydrogen as a catalyst and a secondary fuel source, it can operate in vacuum. I.E. Space. So think of a two-seat swing winged fighter with a primary recon role with a theoretically infinite max operating ceiling. It'll be able to do it's job from low earth orbit. We can have WPT mass-produce it (with my industries development assitance) and equip some of our fighter squadrons. And if we use an existing air frame, we can ratchet down the price to something very affordable.

I'm down. But you should not at all expect me to roll these out fast. These will take delicate time to build.

That's why I'll send some scientists and engineers over to help out with the production.

EDIT: I think I'll make a factbook for it

We did develop specialized AP Ammo, which could penetrate Titanium with ease.
But it may need some improvements...

So, without further ado, I present Grunder Industries:
WPT: Aircraft and airframes
Esgonia: Weapons of Mass Destruction and advanced camoflage
FAP: Electronics and propulsion units
Ratte: weapons systems and ammunition

Should we limit it to an Aircraft Industry? Or should we expand it to create an entire arsenal of a country's Armed Forces?

How about we just limit the things we'll mass produce to aerospace, and the experimental stuff will go into the whole arsenal.
