nah the SARA purpose for turkey was for trade and it seems we will get that trade even if we dont obtain turkey

What I'm worried about is this "referendum" thing he wants to do. Why the hell should we give him the option of annexing Turkey at the end of the 15 years?

How many times do I need to say that if I wanted to annex them, I'd just do so? The point is to be realistic, nothing more or less. When we all reach the moment in time when we all want to give Azen their land back, then we can discuss how the referendum would turn out. I'm trying to add stuff to the story to make it more interesting than just "and we gave all the land back, the end."

As we are part of the SARA, we're fine with that proposal, Ratte. I mean, for all the bitching about how Ganosia didn't do anything, you'd think you'd all want us to do more. We're prepared to send plenty of manpower and the like to the region, not just Turkey, and yet all we get is sod off, wankers!

tbh, I think we could just let Ganosia control that territory.

A weapon that can destroy an astroid theoretically is pretty much PMT as far as I can see it.

I'm planning on organizing an official SARA Self Defense Force, which would serve as it's nominal military. Of course, we would be providing training and equipment. Not to mention the troops we'd have permanently stationed there, meaning there would be more foreign military than local military. We'll also have to promise only to use their forces in defense of SARA, if need be.

A soft PMT scenario but whatever, making a superweapon at a certain place surveillanced all the time is fine.

I'll donate some of my equipment to the SSDF, Also organize a special forces/counter-terrorist unit for them, modeled after the Japanese SAT or the Korean UDT/SEAL.
Edit: Or some sort of Light Reconnaissance Battalion.
