Name of nation: Greater Soviet Ukraine

Name of character: Petya Kurakin

Faction: TF ATLAS

Motive/Ultimate Goal: PRIMARY OBJECTIVE: To recover a rogue Arkanian security asset. SECONDARY OBJECTIVE: To recover a classified chemical mixture that was stolen by a foreign agent hiding out in Moscow. TERTIARY: Eliminated a local terrorist cell that is using anthrax-laced bombs to target civilians.
Appearance:


Personality: Petya is is a hardened combat veteran, showing little pity towards nearly anyone that crosses him in his path to complete his mission. Over 1,000 hours of combat experience among the best Tier One group in all of Greater Soviet Ukraine has taught him how to be a ruthless killer, and he is not below killing the unarmed, civilians, and the wounded. In fact, the only compassion he feels is toward his fatherland and his comrades, and the few people that are dear to his heart. Once you get close enough to him (and live), though, he is easily softened and manipulated. He does feel repressed remorse for his actions, though, yet he justifies some of his more questionable acts with duty towards his country.

Skills: Heightened endurance, reflexes, strength, and combat skills from military training. Expert marksman and driver, along with fair knowledge of most military-related things. Excellent resistance to torture, pain, and extreme duress.

Weakness: Easily manipulated by those close to him, can get extremely aggravated if insulted enough, easily blinded by pride and prejudices.

Bio: Petya Kurakin was born on December 12, 1984, in Kiev, Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic. At an early age he demonstrated above average intelligence and strength, and excelled in school across all fields. Though his parents wished for him to become a lawyer, he refused and instead dropped out of high school to join the army. He quickly rose above his comrades, eventually becoming one of the best marksmen in all of Ukraine. Around 2010, he was recruited by the Security Service of Ukraine and integrated into Service C (Spetsnaz Alpha Group). After only 3 years in Alpha Group, he had risen to squad leader, replacing the old one after he was KIA. During this time, he was called into action to suppress dissidents in the Ukrainian Revolution, and was one of the alleged snipers that fired onto the protesters. After the revolution, he defected into the rebels and fought on the rebel side in the Ukrainian Civil War. Eventually, the loyalists lost and a Socialist government was voted in with the help of Soviet Russian military forces, along with help from the forces of Soviet Belarus. Petya was immediately reassigned to the newly formed Alpha Group, now under the Main Intelligence Directorate, and was one of the few candidates for a special international Tier One group: Task Force ATLAS. After being integrated into the group, his first assignment was to recover a rogue Arkanian agent hiding in Moscow (Vanquaria (which had annexed Soviet Russia during the Auraxian First Contact) was not in TF ATLAS at this time, and was actively preventing information from exiting it's country).

Arkanan tactics don't translate well into exercises... Mainly because people think getting pounded into the dirt by a rain of missiles and bombs from stealth aircraft is too annoying to train with us...

The day Arkanan ground forces operate without air support or naval air support is the day we fire everyone in ADF HICOM. Unless of course there are multiple batteries of MLRSs supporting them with plenty of anti-aircraft assets guarding said MLRSs. But even then, people don't enjoy getting bombarded for some reason...

Personality: A stone-cold killer, Gary has been lethally trained by some of the best spec ops in the world. Gary has never shown remorse for killing those who try to harm his country or break the law. He never shares this with his friends or fellow soldiers, deep down, Gary is a vigilante. Besides being a soldier and loving his country, he hates criminals more than he hates those who harm his country. He believes criminals are the real scum of the earth, and that war must be waged on them. Gary is a man of few words, mainly letting the books he reads do the talking, which are mainly Fyodor Dostoevsky books. He carries around with him the book,"Crime and Punishment." In his backpack, and wears a skull bandana and hat. Gary, even before entering a fight, aims to scare the enemy using appearance. Wearing skulls on his clothing and not showing his face.
He believes that a fight must be won even before it has begun, which he takes from the Art of War.

Skills: Mental awareness (from meditation), heightened reflexes/awareness(from meditation), marksmanship, kraw magaw (deadliest CQC combat), above-average knowledge of military skills, technology, and tactics, near-superhuman tolerance of pain, psychological warfare, stealth, urban/artic/woodland/tundra survival, electronics warfare expert, high endurance (especially on a bike), and iron will.

Weakness: Not trusting anyone not from, "The Continent." He forces people not from Usea to earn his respect and trust.

Bio: Hailing from North Point, "the capital," of Usea/ISAF. Gary was born into a military family, and loved everything about the military. At the age of 18 he joined the ISAF army, and showed exceptional skills. He was soon approached by the Erusean BlackJacks after he completed basic training. He easily made the cut for the BlackJacks, and soon became one of the most skilled operators after 5 years of training, and 12 years of experience in battle. It wasn't until a few years ago did Gary discover his hate for criminals. After a gang attacked the base he was stationed at, in which all gang members were killed, and Gary's best friend. Gary vowed that one day he would get revenge on the criminal society. It seems like he's getting his wish...
Since the Erusean BlackJacks joined ATLAS, every BlackJack is susceptible to being used in ATLAS ops, including Gary. However, Gary isn't used in the BlackJack's ATLAS team, and mostly works on the side. However, this 'Moscow,' op is an exception. As Gary knows more about how criminal organizations work, and how to solve massive problems like these, the BJs sent him instead of the 'A' team.
