It is the year 2025. The empire of Vanquaria prospers like never before with a booming economy and secured by a thick web of alliances. To the outside world it seems as though the nation is the dream place to live. But you should never judge a book by its cover.

The city of Moscow in the Vanqaurian south east mainland is the most dangerous, poorest and contaminated place in the entire Empire and possibly the world.
Sketch of city: [City has no entrances except one on northern side which is heavily guarded and no one is allowed in or out except for special exceptions. Surrounding the city is a massive military base with around 1 million soldiers. Though there are many, secret ways into the city. ]

Here the biggest Arms Manufacturing companies rely on armies of workers who work almost non-stop in ''sweatshops'' to produce its products.
Public health services are almost non existent due to the authoritative government cutting back on funding to help pay for the expensive expansion of its capital city, Auraxis. This has led to severe outbreaks of disease across much of the sprawling 9,683 square km of land including a zombie-like virus that causes madness within its victims.
Criminal organisations have taken advantage of the city's dire situation to form their headquarters and compete with other gangs for money and control of the city's black market.
A ever-increasing freedom fighter resistance group has also set up base in the city. They use the city's underworld to conduct their missions against the Empire and to hoard supplies to support their army.
There have been many unexplained 'supernatural' events occurring inside the city. It is possible that a demon-worshipping cult has been gathering followers and spreading their blasphemy teachings to the disadvantaged, uneducated public.
There was once a large asylum in Moscow. It housed mentally unstable criminals and patients but when the government cut funding the guard was halved, leading to a mass escape of thousands of criminals into the city. This had led to a rise in gang activity and mass murders.

The government has realised its mistake but many now think it is too late to save the city. Instead they order the construction of a mass, concrete wall around the city with a few,large entrances guarded heavily by the militaristic police force and army. The citizens are now mostly left to fend for themselves and survive the city of hell while the authorities engage in all-out war with rebel forces.
The city is not included in the national census and ALL foreign media are banned and forcibly removed from entering city.
City/Details
The city of Moscow is over 6 square kilometres wide. It is a circular, walled city guarded by a large army of over 400,000 soldiers though the city's population is about 9 million.
North of city: Large concentration of rebel/freedom fighter forces numbering about 80,000 and growing at an alarming rate though it faces daily attacks by the army to try and extinguish the flame of revolution. The freedom fighter group is a democratically led army with a council of appointed commanders. There are also freedom fighter splinter cells around the city.

Central Area: Inhabited and ruled by the demonic cult numbering over 10,000 and growing rapidly. Mass killing rituals take place in their dark temples by kidnapping masses of innocent, poor civilians.

West of city: Massive urban area resembling down town New York. A intense gang war between dozens of small gangs erupt there daily.

East of city: Dotted by hundreds of large factories that make weapons for large corporations. Heavy force of around 30,000 troops and 10,000 private security contractors guard this region.
South of city: Infested with vermin and area filled with disease that is slowly spreading to the other areas of the city.
The Role-Play Story
You, the player, have the power to be anything and to do anything in your power in Moscow. You can rp as a Vanquarian Black Ops commando, focused on exterminating threats in the city or a insane psycho intent on mass murder. Even a normal civilian trying to survive in this dark, near-future while rising up the society to ultimately escape the city of hell.
Details
This is a sandbox world. Moscow is no longer controlled by the government. Though the government technically owns the city they had withdrawn administration thus allowing the citizens to do whatever they like though the west part of the city still has a strong government presence because of its many factories and mines.
The currency will be Dollars.
Food/Water supplies are still distributed by government officials who still care about the people inside Moscow though gangs often mark their own territories and demand payment in the form of rations from the citizens.
I will occasionally put in major events that will aim to affect all the characters in the rp.
There is almost no ending to this world. It is eternal chaos and FUN!
It will keep going depending on the players will to keep going and become more powerful in this city's harsh society, the lucky and smartest one may even unite all the citizens though this is VERY unlikely.
Extreme violence is encouraged.
All events are considered canon in my nation history.
