I couldn't help but notice reading through FDR's factbook that most of his equipment comes from NS storefronts. Which I proceeded to research... And discovered, as I expected to, they are all absurdly wanksih designs. He also has absurdly (wankishly) large numbers of some extremely expensive pieces of equipment.

I couldn't help but notice reading through Arkana's factbook that most of his equipment is produced by his own country, and his aircraft can carry unrealistic amounts of ordnance which would make the stealth effects they have useless. I also saw your post on the KDF80 page where you were proven wrong.

The KDF80 is a rather pointless design which could never perform as described. Aircraft designed to operate at very high altitude at very high speed make very poor combat aircraft.
And is it wrong to produce my own weapons? Is it also wrong to have a strong affection for internal rotary weapons launchers?

The KDF80 is a rather pointless design which could never perform as described. Aircraft designed to operate at very high altitude at very high speed make very poor combat aircraft.

You also would've noticed that the max altitude is not combat altitude if you had read the damn page, but eh. An F-35 is a VTOL fighter, much smaller than a purpose built interceptor yet it has a ceiling of 60,000 feet. The KDF80 is a purpose built interceptor, a large aircraft meant specifically to engage other aircraft, and has a ceiling 20,000 feet higher than that. Taken from the person who responded to you on the thread: 'I also have no idea why this thing is late MT/PMT. It looks like a copy of the XF108 Rapier which is 1950s tech. At 2180 mph (mach 2.86) it's also slower than the proposed XF108 which was to have a speed similar to the XB-70 (who shares the same J93 engine), or around mach 3.1. '

And yes, the maximum loads on the Corsair and Tempest require the use of wing mounted hard points, negating the stealth, that's why they aren't carrying maximum loads.

At what point does it claim to carry it like that? All I see is something saying you need to take out 12 missiles to mount up to 6 tonnes of ordnance, with the general guideline being that you need to remove 2 missiles to place in one bomb.

At what point does it claim to carry it like that? All I see is something saying you need to take out 12 missiles to mount up to 6 tonnes of ordnance, with the general guideline being that you need to remove 2 missiles to place in one bomb.

I messed up the numbers, but it does say in IC that your one-seater 'stealth' aircraft is carrying two bombs and eight missiles, while the other is carrying four bombs and ten missiles.
