Frederick's Jeep Cherokee
A Garage
Republic of Mind-Walker

Frederick is extremely eager, because he wanted to get moving and get to the destination before it got dark outside. He was aware thta it could be dangerious and he knew nothing about the country he was visiting, besides rumors. He had seen many dark and terrible things, so he had a vague idea what could happen; but because life sucks he assumed that hell would open up as soon as it got dark. He had already had his fill of sociopaths who ran around and killed everything they saw, but that was in the so called "little leagues". No one from outside had been there in a very long time, besides the Mind-Walker trading convoys; and there had to be logical reason for that. He had brought a really solid, mil-spec rifle that was more or less cutting edge for most of the world, and he knew it could blows holes in things; the question was if those holes would be big enough. The issue was that even though his ammo was cheap and more of it was said to be in the destination, he knew his rounds wouldn't tumble inside any targets. He was entering a war-torn hell-hole that was radioactive and said to have monstrosities that were abominations before God, so he should have maybe brought a bigger gun.

The problem with a bigger gun was the ammo cost, weight, and the number of hostile targets that would use all of that ammo up by being shot at. He had no idea why the others had brought 9x19mm to this fight, there was rumors of cannibals and rabid humans in Parallel.

"Can we all get in our respective Jeeps, before it gets to late and we end up in dark radioactive hell-hole surrounded by abominations before God?" Frederick blurted out. "We are going to get stuck in the dark running shifts, but I would prefer to do it close to neutral people or in a field of things we already shot dead."
The fastest way to make absolutely sure that a point is bad, is to pretend to argue for it to people that are against it.
