I won't start a nuclear war, I was giving reasons for why Sloane was willing to negotiate (he didn't want escalation).

But with manoeuvrable warheads, missile defence won't be effective. Plus defensive missiles are significantly more expensive than warheads anyway, so are very cost ineffective.

I already said I wouldn't, a few times.

You probably could shoot down a fraction of them (it would have to be before re-entry though), however that wouldn't matter as you would be overwhelmed.
