Krïdan Military manoeuvres commence on Českovan Border!
Today, military exercises kicked off at 03:00 am this morning in southern Dalktrés, near the border with Českova. An entire division and several air wings undertook a series of exercises ranging from taking and securing villages, battalion attacks and the classic combined arms assault. Units from all around the empire took part, units from Waiākūrā and Konćjew took part, along with troops from all around Krjder. The operations ceased at 19:00 this evening, following an inspection by Grand Duke Ferdinand of Dalktrés and Staff Marshall Jozeff-Karol Wülchkbeurg.
The Krïdan ambassador to Českova; Pieter Kjåzellbaum was summoned to the President's Residence. Českova has called the exercises provocative and 'another example of Krïdan intimidation.' Tensions between Českova and Krjder, who have always remained wary over each other, arose last month when Krïdan border guards shot dead Českovan paratroopers who landed on the wrong side of the border and refused to surrender. A Krïdan military spokesperson has confirmed that the operation was protocol and standard procedure for any armed force in the world. Českova was most disturbed however by Krjder's use of its Airborne Cavalry Regiment near the town of Cuñaoville, where light tanks and armoured vehicles, having been deployed by aircraft, moved on the town at terrifying speed.
Staff Marshall Jozeff-Karol Wülchkbeurg, Chief of Staff Command congratulated the division's operations and declared that he and his staff, and military analysts were happy with the execution of the manoeuvres performed by the division. He also stated that due to certain international tensions, pertaining to several nations such as Českova and Kyraen, such exercises will continue. The Staff Marshall hinted that the next operation may be amphibious in nature, in the Stwikesaar Islands.
