To give you guys a visual image of my nation:

1st Army stationed on home system: [Currently there are 6 armies in empire but as empire grows more armies will eventually be created to keep up with the expansion to defend their conquests and conquer more. Armies only consist of Vanquarians. Aliens are discriminated and captured alien armies sometimes put to work as slaves to build more warships etc. All aliens in empire forced to learn English, the language the Vanquarians speak. ]

Normal Soldier and Officer:

Vanquarian:

Destructor-class Warship:

Destroyer-class Warship: Smaller but still quite large and slow. Seen in 1st picture

Standard assault rifle:

Pistol:

Weapons are partially plasma and mostly bullet fused together. Warships use slipspace tech which is slower than FTL but much more energy-saving though the Vanquarian warships are very large and built for the purpose of head-on space battles and whole fleets can be delayed or even defeated by space guerilla attacks by smaller, faster ships. Warships contain orbital missiles that can travel through space and plasma cannons. Contain quantum phase shielding which allows 20% protection for all projectiles though once turned on slowly drains the ships quantum phase batteries and power-generators.

Let me know if you guys want more info about my nation. Dropships and space fighter ships look like ones from killzone helghast. Entire nation based on the Helghast.

The main brunt of the Army's weaponized vehicles, this is a prototype tank which can carry 20 men.

I was wondering if it would be good to limit the use of cloning and robots. Because if we would use them to much then everyone would technically have almost unlimited soldiers/builders. Let me know what you think.

I agree. Maybe only a few million in each nation as a limit.

I think builders should be limited, but soldiers not. There are many ways to defeat robotic soldiers.
Some of my empire is soldiers too.

Over twenty-percent of the military stationed at Invictus B were granted a wholesome pension, they were to be replaced by early-beta Military Robots, much like droids. They could shoot twice better and faster, although there was some outcry as it was deemed "shaming our military personnel" "telling them that robots could do their job better"
The Alliance may have just saved billions that could be placed into something better, or even better military droids, military space-droids, the military commission didn't stop to research more.

Yeah, they can aim a lot better but they are stupid, they will walk directly into fire, walk into explosions, not give a toss about grenades and die when shot once. Pretty easy to kill them, right?

Lol you sure made it sound like it. I know my soldiers seem invincible during my origins story and the sign up post but I've made weaknesses for them too. In fact, guys and girls, most things you create usually like a spaceship should have a weakness like my bulky warships.

Actually there should be a Limit on droids as it costs resources to build them and your nation cant keep mass producing without draining its coffers. There should be a 10 million max limit on droids.

For me it's not really about numbers. It's just, like you say, about knowing that having an army like that will have very negative effects as well.
