Alright, im going to have to crawl through all the posts and decide up to what point in the conflict the book will diverge fully from what's happened in the thread. (artistic liberties yo) and what parts i'll need to tear out. As well as going through the thread again to find out who's allowed me to steal borrow their factions, characters and ideas. What is the general rundown of what's happening at Alfsund right now? As in specifics of the current situation, balance of power in the struggle

Attacking the city you have groups still broadly loyal to Kongshammer. Soldiers of the government, mercenary groups.

Defending the city you have Caracasus, Opplandia and Nangajala.

Opplandia and Caracasus are members of the Northern Alliance. This is the name of a group of nations that attempt to use military means to remove Fromo from power. It is lead by Cardulan and counts Cardulan, Bohemivaria, Opplandia, Flauc(?), Caracasus and a couple of others who haven't posted for a while as members.

Nangajala is not at present a member of the Northern Alliance. Caracasus is a recent member following the assaults on the aid camps, many of which Caracasus operated.

Caracasus is openly a communist society. Neither Opplandia or Nangajala are communist.
