A carrier in the Soviet Britannian Navy had sailed to a spot 25 miles away (assuming the battle is over or near water) from the air battle that had been occurring between Hambonian and Antarctican forces. There, the carrier scrambled all aircraft on its deck. 22 Petrinko fighter jets were sent off to where the battle had been roaring to assist the Antarctican forces with rapping up and stabilizing the situation.

Elsewhere, the Soviet Britannian 4th Fleet had been dispatched to carry out a very important order. The ships, in secret, were preparing a large force to deploy to Wkh Kdperqldq Lvohv. The amount of troops would be massive, a force that would likely not be rivaled.

Due to rumors of a soviet fleet on the way, the hambonian fleets are setting up blockades to defend vital harbors and portsin sperland. A total of 54 ships are in the blockades currently.

And a total of 62,000 men are in sperland currently.

While the bombers mission was completed, the fighters had been left behind, and had trouble fighting the enemy raptors. The Su47's however, could easily dodge any missile behind them.

However, they were low on fuel. All of the hambonian fighters decided to fall back to secure airspace to regroup. Any raptor brave enough to follow them would be shot down by the hambonian air defense network.

Air War

Canister Missiles were fired at the retreating aircraft. A Canister Missile was a missile that that had the capability to down all aircraft in its 10 foot radius (of the explosion). The Air War was nearing to an end to be preceded with larger scale warfare on group in Sperland.

With only about 50 fighters left, the hambonian military command will send 40 Su47's to replace the destroyed F35's. The 47's will arrive in the next eight hours.

The people were determined to win the war. The military was determined and ready for anything. One of the greatest military generals on earth was Labhrás Dalavarsho. The Sperlish were ready. 2,000 aircraft were sent to the sky over sperland's territory. The navy sent submarines to check for approaching fleets. The defences on the coast were almost set. Forts had been manned and trenches had been dug to stop any blitzkrieg the enemy might attempt. One thing was for sure, only idiots invade Sperland. Around the nation there were guerilla fighters ready to ambush invaders. On the many mountains soldiers would freeze to death while trying to cross. The navy was quick and deadly. The nation was full of patriots. And if the enemy did take the nation, they had to deal with our many rebels.
The coasts were full of minefields. On the land the Kitakyusha b-13 would tair land forces apart. The Sperlish knew both the hambonians and the Sperlish air forces together would be very strong.

Antartecan navy psotions

The New Wondour 1st fleet had finally arrived, boasting a total of 35 vessels and one of the largest aircraft carriers in the world, the HMS Wales. The fleet was leaded by one if not the best admiral in the world, Admiral Joseph Graham. Admiral Graham was 52 year old navy veteran who had fought in the war against Nazi Antarteca and had come to her aid once again during the Fourth World War. The admiral had sent a message to the Antartecan CO, and it said that the 1st fleet was ready to support the Antartecans in any way possible.

William had prepared a large arrival ceremony for the leader of Antarteca. A ceremony that only the royals of New Wondour could create. And now William would await the leaders arrival.

The hambonian 4th fleet, consisting of 40 small, but heavily armed ships, had received word of the fleet from new wondour. The fleet would be ready for a fight, not to mention the fleet of 20 tigershark class submarines enroute to sperland would eventually be added too.

Every sperlish city began to look some what like a fortress.

High Capital Command - Agua Azul, Antarctica, Antarctica

Back in the capital, Agua Azul, the Elector-Primo was quite satisfied with the progress on the invasion and the aerial victory. Now he had authorized "Operation Tue-La" translated to Operation Kill Her in french.

In the High Capital Command, Room B, a bigger plan was about to give way. A massive attack was about to commence. 45 ICBMs were being fired (not nuclear) towards the capital of Sperland to leave them governmentless. Since Sperland was at a loss of a leader, being at a loss of government would wreak havoc throughout the nation.

50 minutes later at the High Capital Command Center...

Capital Commander: "All projectiles are ready my glorious Elector-Primo"
Elector-Primo James: "Get ready to release the killers in 20 seconds"
Capital Commander: "All missiles are green and ready.."
Capital Officer: "Missiles are on platform and aimed toward coordinates"
Elector-Primo James: "All our Air Force is out of that area. Ready in 10"
Capital Commander: "All Conventional Projectile Explosives are burning and ready to release"
Elector-Primo James: "Prepare in 5... 4... 3... 2... 1... Fire."

As soon as the last last word, fire, came out of the Elector-Primos mouth the Commanding Officer released the missiles.

Capital Commander: "Sir, missiles are fired"

A grin arose from the face of the Elector-Primo and the Officers in the room stood up from their computers and applauded with the national chant of "Long live the Republic!"

Well on their way, the missiles were about to annihilate lives, destroy buildings and mangle the earth there. Though the Elector-Primo did not want to kill many innocent people, this was the way he was going to be able to end the war quicker. Now in case of retaliation the Elector-Primo put the nation on alert and every single land and ocean defense and offense network was set on high red alert. All airliners were cancelled and docks were closed. No vessel or aircraft was leaving or arriving the nation without military authorization and oversight.

The Elector-Primo arrived safely and went to meet King William and be shown to his room. His personnel was his Corp of Four (Four Elite Modified Humans) and 175 Elite Marines of the Electoral Company.

The Elector-Primo had arrived, after passing the four checkpoints leading into the building, the Leader was welcomed by the King of New Wondour. Standing at the sides of the sidewalk leading into the HQ were 6 Red Coat Guards standing at either side. They were standing there in their elegant red coats and their bear skinned hats. They raised their swords in a welcoming manner as the Elector-Primo walked toward the King. The king greeted the leader with a handshake. The Elector-Primo was also accompanied by the Regional Commander of the Red Guard, who had received him at the airport.

The Hambonian 4th fleet picked up multiple missile signatures on radar.

High admiral, Jace Maddox gave an order to the angelfish support ships of the fleet, they would create a false radar signature away from the sperlish city. This would cause the missiles to go off course and seek out the pseudo signatures.

While this would only stop about half of the missiles from hitting the city, the fleet had balanced it out to where the capital area of the city, where the government and its people were at, would not be hit by any missile or debris. However, the rest of the city surrounding the capital would be destroyed.

A city wide evacuation has been ordered. All citizens will be moved to camps near the center of the country. This camp area is a CLASS A NO FIRE ZONE if any nation is caught attacking the innocent, they will be fined at the wars end.

Sperland

Within seventy-two hours, the elements of Operation Heat Shield had mobilised. Infantry, fighting vehicles, artillery, and armour were flown into Sperlish airports on heavy transports, escorted by fifth-generation fighters and gunships. From the amphibious assault carriers HMS Achilles and Agamemnon, Royal Marines made landings on the Sperland coast, under cover of no fewer than forty-seven advanced ships of the line and a net of hunter-killer submarines - all coordinated from the supercarrier HMS King William. The aegis of the Royal Cymrean Navy would ensure that Antartecan invaders would have to enter Sperland from the land. Squadrons of Cymrean aircraft were landed at strategic airfields throughout Sperland, poised to launch sorties against Antarctecan ground forces and air support.

In venues of international diplomacy, Cymrea continued to lobby for support of Sperland, denouncing Antarcteca's naked aggression and the criminal act of government-sanctioned assassination. Further condemnations of cowardly opportunistic attacks made by Soviet Britain and New Wondour were declared on the floors of international assemblies. Negotiations with representatives from the Hambonian Islands and Obamadonia were arranged to coordinate the effort of protecting Sperland and delivering a punitive response to Antarcteca and her criminal allies.

For her part, Queen Rhiannon was prepared to mobilise reinforcements to an already massive intervention force - 450,000 infantry and Marines alone. If Antarcteca could be brought to task for the assassination of Napoleon and her allies punished for their complicity in violating Sperlish sovereign territory, then Cymrea could rest with a clear conscience. Until then, all of her vast resources were ready at hand.

These numbers are solidly based in my own factbook, which is based in my NS stats and adheres to established RP traditions with regard military numbers; all posted many months ago.

25 miles off the Sperland coast

Upon approaching the Sperlish coast, the pickets of the Cymrean task force encountered the lone Soviet Britannian carrier. The Cymrean response was thus: A radio transmission was broadcast stating, "For the Queen and Cymrea, and her Pan-Celtic allies!"; four Legacy-class strike submarines fired torpedoes at the carrier; The HMS King William launched a combat air patrol of forty-eight F-37C fighters; the four Phalanx-class battlecruisers opened up with their guns; and all six Pathfinder-class guided missile cruisers launched anti-ship missiles. This was considered to be an overwhelming attack on the carrier, expected to orphan any Petrinko fighters still aloft - fighters that the Cymrean CAP lay in wait for.

The two most powerful aircraft carriers in the world, the HMS Faustus and the HMS Cronus closed in toward the Cymeran forces. The aircraft carriers supported by advanced missile Destroyers and Frigates opened fire on their forces. Also they were surprised attacked by New Wondour advanced submarines.

25 miles off the Sperland coast

The Cymrean naval group, designated Task Force Aegis, was aware of the small fleet of New Wondour ships. Satellite images and heat bloom signatures were processed by Naval Command in Cymrea and transmitted to the commanding officer, Rear Admiral Simon Horatius Williams, in the Action Information Centre of the King William. The outer picket of thirty-two frigates and destroyers launched ASW helicopters that dropped sono-buoys and hunted for the submarines that any sane naval commander would have screening his fleet, even a small one. The remaining Cymrean hunter-killers lay in wait for the telltale cavitations of torpedo fire - noises that would give their positions away to a Cymrean response.

That torpedo volley came as expected. The frigates and destroyers dropped countermeasures into the water; these were of limited effectiveness and eight ships were damaged in the New Wondour opening salvo, one Patron-class guided missile frigate was crippled and severely listing. In response, eight Cymrean submarines locked onto and fired at their enemy counterparts, then moved in a tactical pattern akin to an underwater dogfight. With this many boats in the ocean, collisions were a serious threat.

Incoming anti-ship missiles were countered almost entirely by sheer weight of fire. Even the handful of New Wondour ships would be deadly to a similarly sized force, but Task Force Aegis comprised a large number of hulls and the defences were adequate to keep the New Wondour attack from being effective.

A second sortie of F-37C fighters was launched from the King William. Forty-eight fighters were carrying anti-ship ordnance which they dropped from high overhead, even as the Aegis picket lauched a countering volley of anti-ship missiles in overwhelming numbers.

Very, very, very (and I mean very) high up in the sky were 22 F/A-81A's of the Western Fleet were ready to attempt to deter the Cymrean fleet. Closing in rapidly was the 10th Fleet or the "Western Fleet". The fleet consisted of 20 LCS vessels and 15 LCS Battleships. These aircraft and vessels would hopefully and eventually make the Cymrean fleet retreat.

The New Wondrian Second Fleet closed in to the Cymerian fleet. The Second Fleet was composed of two Kevin Class Super Carriers, 20 Frigates and 15 Destroyers. Accompanying the fleet were the infamous New Wondour Naval Boarding vessels. But also with this fleet were 6 prototype Littoral Stealth ships. The ships laid hidden a few miles away from the enemy fleet. These vessels were undetectable by any kind of radar or satellite scans or sensors. Also the fleet was accompanied by 10 advanced Trafalgar-class Submarines.

And the above post is precisely why an ORBAT is a good idea, because this here is godmodding. Godmodding is defined as using meta-knowledge to respond to events in RP unfairly. Here's why I make this statement, and bear in mind that I do so in the interest of ensuring fair play. I promise I'm not screaming at my screen or anything, and I'm absolutely certain that Antarcteca is a good player and not trying to be underhanded.

An armed force of 200,000 was being mobilised and a total of 51,000 Antarctic Marines were being deployed to the war-seeking nation of Sperland. Along with these 51,000 Marines is 1 aircraft carrier, 5 cruisers and 12 destroyers -- 25 F-35s with them of course. These troops would arrive soon by air and landing craft.

Now there is a vague naval build-up here, but it only lists two carriers and seventy-five hulls of undisclosed types. When we factor in that we're all probably rather well covered by satellites and that information is near-instantaneous, it seems reasonable that only things like submarine numbers might be conceivably hidden. The heat blooms from engines, and the wakes in the water will easily reveal to any modern nation the composition of a small task force, let alone a fleet of seventy-seven vessels that includes two carriers. As such, a pre-posted ORBAT of comitted forces allows us to know what we're dealing with so that timelines can stay clean and godmodding can be eliminated as much as possible. Simply responding with, "Aha! I have more stuff inbound, sucka!" is less than fair and really bad for RPing a good war.

Further, it's also quite helpful if there's some reference for your existing standing military. Even for nations the size of mine and Antarcteca, committing the bulk of one's navy is foolhardy and just not at all realistic. Three carriers, five cruisers, seventy-five undisclosed vessels, and now thirty-five littoral combat frigates is a ridiculous amount to commit to foreign action. Unless you're super serious about destroying Sperland as a nation and not at all worried about your own container ships being walloped and your economy smashed. Coastal batteries won't do much for ICBMs and conventional warheads launched from subs at your ports.

And if it's total war you're committing to, then we get into some space goodies and everything spirals way out of control.

So, in conclusion: let's be very up front and transparent about what we're committing and where, so that we can have a fun and fair war with reasonable battles. Fog of war can still be a thing, you just need to be creative.

Here's why I make this statement, and bear in mind that I do so in the interest of ensuring fair play. I promise I'm not screaming at my screen or anything, and I'm absolutely certain that Antarcteca is a good player and not trying to be underhanded.

Anyhoo...

An armed force of 200,000 was being mobilised and a total of 51,000 Antarctic Marines were being deployed to the war-seeking nation of Sperland. Along with these 51,000 Marines is 1 aircraft carrier, 5 cruisers and 12 destroyers -- 25 F-35s with them of course. These troops would arrive soon by air and landing craft.

Now there is a vague naval build-up here, but it only lists two carriers and seventy-five hulls of undisclosed types. When we factor in that we're all probably rather well covered by satellites and that information is near-instantaneous, it seems reasonable that only things like submarine numbers might be conceivably hidden. The heat blooms from engines, and the wakes in the water will easily reveal to any modern nation the composition of a small task force, let alone a fleet of seventy-seven vessels that includes two carriers. As such, a pre-posted ORBAT of comitted forces allows us to know what we're dealing with so that timelines can stay clean and godmodding can be eliminated as much as possible. Simply responding with, "Aha! I have more stuff inbound, sucka!" is less than fair and really bad for RPing a good war.

Further, it's also quite helpful if there's some reference for your existing standing military. Even for nations the size of mine and Antarcteca, committing the bulk of one's navy is foolhardy and just not at all realistic. Three carriers, five cruisers, seventy-five undisclosed vessels, and now thirty-five littoral combat frigates is a ridiculous amount to commit to foreign action. Unless you're super serious about destroying Sperland as a nation and not at all worried about your own container ships being walloped and your economy smashed. Coastal batteries won't do much for ICBMs and conventional warheads launched from subs at your ports.

And if it's total war you're committing to, then we get into some space goodies and everything spirals way out of control.

So, in conclusion: let's be very up front and transparent about what we're committing and where, so that we can have a fun and fair war with reasonable battles. Fog of war can still be a thing, you just need to be creative.
