SONNEL ADVENTURE: "Sonnel: Legacy"

[Drawkland]

*-----Underground?-----*

Lerocav shook his head as Shade spoke, "No, I feel like we're being moved forward, or maybe backwards. I don't think this thing has a defined front or back."

As he was speaking, a light could be seen in the window behind Lerocav. It was in the distance but growing ever-brighter and closer.

"It must be an opening," he murmured.

[Xhayparia]

"Must be interfering with my senses. That can only mean this place is masked with the arcane arts" Shade responded.
He saw the opening
"And the gate opens."

Sainman didnt react much, rather just taking in whats was happening and analyzing the situation.

[Katrasen]

Echo nods to shade.
" as far as I know, yes. But I haven't seen him as of late, so I can't say for sure."
She frowns, sensing the pull of direction, and looks to the opening.
" think we should move towards it, or away?"

[Drawkland]

*-----Metro District-----*

"I don't think we have much of a choice in that matter Echo," he replied to her as the light came upon them. Suddenly, a lifting motion could be felt and the structure seemed to shoot up into the air at high speeds and tilt a little, making the floor shift and everyone crash to one side.

Lerocav gained his footing as the deck righted itself. He looked out the window and gasped as he took in the surroundings.

The facility itself wasn't an underground base ... It was an all-purpose areoship.
Lerocav looked up at the ceiling on the side which was now clearly the front, and the letters "D.S.F. Legacy" were printed in light letters.
"Our parents outdid themselves," he said in awe.

"Guess we know exactly what we should call ourselves." Shade remmarked.

[Mushcap]

Sainman used his shield to stay as upright as he could. When he stood up he remarked about the base.

"The legacy of the fallen..."

[Xhayparia]

Shade touched Sainman's shoulder.
"The legacy of greatness."

[Drawkland]

*-----Legacy-----*

Lerocav grinned and walked over to the center seat. He sat in it and spun it around to face the others, "Let's go," he said simply, and he turned around and started fiddling with the controls.

The ship slowly started moving upwards and forwards.

[Xhayparia]

"Uhm, where exactly are we going?" Shade said as he sat down to Lerocav's left

[Katrasen]

As theplatform tilted, echo yelped and instictively crouched to all fours for better footing. Quickly righting herself, she looks around, and blinks.
" Firebeast... this place is incredible. Lerocav, are you retain that you know how to fly this thing? " she asks quietly as she goes to sit down.

[Drawkland]

*-----Metro District, Drawkland-----*

Lerocav looked around at the others and motioned for Echo to take a seat.

"Of course I know how to pilot this thing, I was taught how when they were first designed. See look, that thing there," he says, pointing to a set of buttons on the control panel, "That's designed for .... Uh .... Okay maybe I don't know everything. The important thing is that I can keep it in the air, right?" he says as he pulls it further and higher.
Above them, a few screens were activated and showed them a map showing their current location, and another showing ship conditions. All was well.

"I dunno where we're going Shade ... I'm thinking we'll cruise over Metropolon and see if we can find something. I'm sure there's some anarchic hubbub happening due to my father's death," he explained. He set course for Metropolon and kicked it into 1:5 gear.

Sainman went to sit in the back, rubbing the back of his neck in uncertainty at Lerocav's ability to control the ship.

[Drawkland]

Within 10 minutes, the ship had entered within the city limits of Metropolon. Lerocav surveyed it from the legal elevation for ships this size.

"How about we turn on a police scanner?" he suggested as he looked over the control. He began to fiddle on the dashboard, trying to get a communicator to pick up radio waves.

[Katrasen]

Echo sits down, scowling.
"Just don't blame me if you crash and get us killed, then. "
Her ears twitch a bit as they enter Metropolis airspace, and she raises an eyebrow.
" What, you want to eavesdrop on the police force and see if we can help stop a crime ? "

[Xhayparia]

"I'm pretty sure Drawkian police radio waves are public" noted Shade. "But that's not my area of expertise."

Shade pulled out a block of permafrost and a laser knife and started whittling.

"When something comes up, let me know," Shade began, "once our name is out there, everyone will know about us, the Legacy. And there will be no turning back."

He pressed a button on his collar, where a mechanical mask that covered his nose down put itself together on his face. He put his hood up.

"It may not be safe for the people to know who exactly we are, at least not yet. We don't want the Legacy to end so soon, do we?"

[Mushcap]

Sainman just sat quietly in the corner and started to polish his shield.

[Katrasen]

Echo frowns, her dark eyes flashing.
" perhaps not. Though it won't be hard to cloak everyone in darkness if needed."

[Drawkland]

Lerocav was listening to the scanner then looked at Shade as he activated his mask.
"I suppose you're correct ... But I'm not sure they could shut us down necessarily. But I agree, seeing the new leaders of some nations or at least people related to them all together fighting crime, probably wouldn't be the best sight."
At that moment, the scanner spoke up, "We have a reported hold up on the MetroBank HQ on 10th and K. We'll need to take a full squadron there."
"We're short on men right now, we'll have to wait on that," another voice crackled.
Lerocav raised his eyebrows, "Think we could give this a shot?" he asked as he steered the ship towards the edges of town.
He looked at a screen on the dash which showed a list of available resources. One of them was a shuttle which could fit about all of them and their gear. He checked where it was, then rose from his seat and went to the elevator platform. He looked at the others expectantly.

[Mushcap]

"Sharks are born swimming I suppose." sainman said, flipping a few mini switches on his shield.

[Xhayparia]

Shade flipped his hood up.
"I'm with Sainman." he said swinging his spearhead. "Time for our legacy to begin."

[Katrasen]

Echo is quiet for several moments, gazing at each of them with her slightly unsettling black eyes, and then she nods , straitening and crossing her arms.
" for better or worse, I'm in. Let's do this."

[Drawkland]

*-----Outer Metropolon-----*

Lerocav nodded at the others, and suddenly, the platform lowered again. It went all the way back to the bottom of the hangar-type area, and deposited them on the floor level.

He ran over to the shuttle he had looked for, and opened the back hatch. He checked his belt for his holster and looked at the others as they ran back up, "Everyone have their weapon of choice? If not, you're missing out on the fun!" he giggled slightly and jogged to the front of the shuttle, starting it up. There were 4 other open seats around the control panel, and a row of bench seats on one side with a rack on the other, in the back side. Sort of like a long, sleek, futuristic van that can fly and is meant for a band of heroes.

Said man followed Lerocav and sat in one of the seats.

"I guess this is where we begin." Sainman said as he waited for lerocav to take them to the robbery.
