Lerocav nodded at Shade, "I wasn't aware of this until a bit ago, and I'm not sure it's just a basement," he said as the elevator slowed to a stop.
A door slid open in front of all of them, and a massive hangar-like place was revealed. As described earlier, it was a couple hundred yards long and about a hundred yards wide, and about that much tall as well. It was mainly a silver is he chrome color, with LED trim that was a bright electronic blue at the moment. Along one side was a huge Drawkian style airship, and the other was a smaller sea ship, like a Destroyer of sorts. And down the middle were two rows of personal jets and spaceships. Above the top end of the hangar room were the rooms Lerocav had seen earlier, connected by a large metal bridge across the hangar in the air. Some other rooms were on the ground floor, and there seemed to be a dome in the middle of the hangar.
"Welcome," Lerocav announced, "To our probable base of operations. I think. I'm not sure about that yet," he said grandly, then petered off the last part of the sentence. He stepped off the elevator onto the platform overlooking the hangar.
