Ms Calavī Ulerh spoke: "What about the amendment that the esteemed cdelegate of Thromsa introduced; is it part of this resolution already or should we vote on it first? The opinion of my country quite depends on this question."

Ambassador Van Adrichem passed his answer to the Nhoor ambassador through a note, simply reading: I would understand this as a friendly amendment, considering the resolution's sponsor submitted it. Or otherwise treat it as a vote for the Amendment followed by the Resolution.

Following that, he decided to make the United Republics' position clear, "It is the belief of the United Republics that a measure of formal reforms is necessary to make the League capable of facing the challenges of the modern day and hold it accountable for its members. To this end, this resolution opens the doorway for such efforts, but it must be faced with energy and conviction, not apathy. In the event of this resolution's passage, Dormill and Stiura will join the frontlines of a reform effort. If it doesn't, we shall dedicate our efforts to instituting reforms through the Second Charter as best we can. The United Republics of Dormill and Stiura shall thus vote In Favor of the resolution at vote."

"The Unified Electorates are sympathetic, if not supportive, of an agenda to reform or replace the League. However, there is no current alternative to this place which acts as an open and inclusive forum for all nations. Absent such an organisation, this resolution will have the effect of decaying and eroding trust in and dependence on our foremost international institution.

Ainslie must vote AGAINST this resolution and its associated amendment."

TotoMishin Delegate to the League of The Western Isles, Albin Podalek:
"Before I cast my vote, I want to reaffirm that it is my government's position that it is crucial that the League of The Western Isles continue to exist. It offers an institution that values diplomacy above all, which is something that we sorely need especially now. With multiple conflicts drawing to a close without satisfactory questions as to their legality and ones that are still continuing. It seems that the League is still as necessary as ever. However, I do recognise and so I can say does the current Federal Government of TotoMishin, that the League needs reform. It needs reform to still claim to be the institution it needs to be. If this resolution is defeated I would hope that we would move forward immediately with new proposals on how to reform and revitalize the league. Without this, there is no point as I see it of fighting against this resolution. That being said, TotoMishin will vote AGAINST this resolution."

But to dissolve it completely would be like throwing the baby out with the bath water, this being said Wellsia is against the resolution.

Hugo had a quick chuckle at the resolution. Even though the dissolution of the league might strategically benefit some countries, the image of a bunch of unwashed hippies protesting at home was unsightly. Let them keep believing the league actually does something useful, he thought. The Republic of Segentova votes AGAIST Resolution No. 24

The Nhoor representative Ms Calavī Ulerh sighed. She was annoyed about the lack of clear procedures regarding amendments to resolution proposals in the League. The whole proceedings surrounding this resolution made her want to vote against it, but she doubted that the vote would even be legal, no matter if the resolution passed or not. She had received voting instructions from the government however; obviously back home they thought the abolition of the League would cause too much regional insecurity. "This very League may very well be the cause of regional insecurity!", Ms Ulerh thought as she took much effort to avoid rolling her eyes. She doodled "TA MY LHONG CHROWAL LANE DY ASTANYN" (Alteran for 'My hovercraft is full of eels') in capital letters on her note block and drew a rather abstract picture of the sentence next to it. When it was her turn to speak, she said:

"The Dominion of Nhoor votes against this resolution."

The inexperienced delegate from Stosal Avetio Rosalva had avoided speaking up during the discussion phase, preferring to observe to get a hang of the procedure. As the bill went to vote, he mulled over the notes he had written. He agreed with the calls for reform, but also agreed with the sentiment this resolution was not the way to go about it. Avetio was also confused as to the status of the amendment, and he did not want to vote for a resolution that he didn't even know what the wording was. He mustered up the courage to speak up:

"In my capacity as the Stosalic delegate to the League, I vote AGAINST Resolution 24."

Mastanaba'al stood up and looked around the Assembly Hall. "Chairman, honored delegates, I have here a flyer promoting the Republic of Swedwsttanossa's Dothyrmka Pingalmanns. These flyers appeared in our country seeking funds to assist the Swedwsttaossan government fund their own misguided policies to help pay for the people that are most effected by their foolishness. As Elim proclaims: A strong man lives from the money of his work, the weak lives from the money of others. This is what Swedwstanossa seems to be doing, they are expecting the citizens of our respected countries to fund their actions. They create a policy that lays off thousands and is destructive to their on revenue, this should be on them, if a government can't fund its own actions, then why take such an action. We Channai are willing to help those in need, but only a fool gives support to one that cuts off his own leg and then with blood still dripping hold out his hand for alms. It is not expected that this August Body do anything, as much as possible His Majesty's Government is blocking these," Mastananaba'al waves the flyer in the air, " atrocities from Wellsia. This is just to warn you that if your nations have not been bombarded by these, there is a good chance it will be.". With this, Mastanaba'al wadded up the flyer and threw it in to the trash can nearby.
