"Velah supports a discussion on reforming the Charter of the League. We are agree that there are certain provisions which need to be revisited, and amended to allow greater flexibility and efficiency for the body."

I agree we should look closely at this new charter but do not be overly hasty we must review it in depth to make sure it still holds the League's goals and does not compromise any part of the League.

"We're not being hasty in it, we've all reviewed the old charter and the new. If you have not then you have been wasting what time has been given to you. This is better in every way to the original."

"We heartily agree with eliminating the drudgery of constantly approving nations, but I believe that if we are to reform the charter it would be now a better time than ever to finally pass definitive human rights laws. I'd think that incorporating that into the charter itself could yield some positive outcomes in its permanence over a simple resolution," said Spencer.

"The charter's purpose is not to legislate but to provide the basis on which we can. If you want to propose that as the first resolution, be our guest."

"With all due respect honorable delegates, Mr. Spencer has a point. As of the moment the league is in limbo in regards of what is considered human rights and not, something made evident during the events prior to the Vioraux-Bhikkustan war. While it is prudent that we reform the charter it is wiser to deal with this issue now amidst a time when the majority of the region is not engulfed in war rather than wait and reap the seeds of our inaction."

"I am at a loss on why you feel this is not a distinct issue from amending the charter itself, nor do I understand why you feel human rights have anything remotely to do with the current degree of war engulfment..." Augustia sighed.

Resolution 1: League Revision and Renewal
The Assembly of the League of the Western Isles

Recognizing that this League has an outdated and ill-designed charter, which serves contrary to our current conduct and procedures;

Presenting that this League has often entered into a immobile, sidetracked, and lethargic state;

Resolved that action must be taken to revitalize this organization;

Hereby:
1. Repeals all past resolutions enacted by this League and resets the numbered order to one;
2. Adopts the revised League Charter recently presented by the nation of Vancouvia;
3. Mandates that all future resolutions be drafted, adopted, and referred in the same manner as this resolution;
4. Maintains the nation of Polar Svalbard as the Secretary General.

We should not remove all our resolutions. This new resolution should pass, but maybe as resolution 17, without the first line.

"Why not refer to the prospective measures passed by the Assembly as Assembly Resolutions or A.R., to differentiate them from previous resolutions of the old Charter which were simply denominated as Resolutions. In that way, this resolution adoption the new resolution can begin at 1, and so forth."

"I agree that all previous resolutions should be kept if the signing of the new charter goes through. Because, if in an example, tall resolutions were repealed, the two currently in place between Domanania and Vioraux would mean nothing, and there would be those in my government who would want to militarize Voyageur and move troops back into Romsay." Andrew stated clearly "What is to say others wouldn't abuse that loophole?"

"I am completely aware that we are in the middle of a discussion here" stated Erie Ile, "but Karahar is seriously being hit hard by SHOCK. As we speak my country men are being killed. This is not just about Karahar, this is about every post Khas-Kira nation. If SHOCK take more of Karahar than they already own, Karahar is going to steadily decline. This would give SHOCK a major advantage, which I am sure they'll use." Erke Ile stopped to catch his breath, "I believe that this is worth sacrificing a few lives for, the fate of Karahar, and many other nations is in our hands."
