Rodger Beckett entered the hall.

Discreetly combing through his hair with his fingers, he released a breath that he hadn't known he was holding. The League was certainly a step forward for Noronica and so the government sent Rodger in. He was usually calm and collected, but damn it if he wasn't allowed to feel a little overwhelmed by the vast and bustling hall. Feeling eyes on him, he straightened himself up and smiled at the room.

"Good day, I am Rodger Beckett of the Overlordship of Noronica. The Foreign Secretary and the government feels that entering the League would benefit Noronica and others greatly. May I request access?"

[Vancouvia]

"Vancouvia certainly vouches for our friends the Noronicans."

[Ostehaar]

Tomas smiled in satisfaction. "Ostehaar vouches as well, of course."

[Athara Magarat]

Ramesh smiled at Rodger. "Athara Magarat vouches for Noronica. We also welcome Corindia and Itztlica to the League."

[Keomora]

The Empire of Keomora would like to vouch for our friend, Noronica. May the gods keep peace and bring prosperity to your nation.

[Perawin]

"In the furthering of equality and representation, we too vouch for Noronica."

[Atnaia]

"We vouch for both the newcomers," Barbury smiled, although it it didn't touch his eyes.

We believe this will be able to further our relations with our neighbours and fellow nations in the region, and enhance our international dialogue and cooperation. With this, we humbly request membership in this noble gathering of peoples.

Having just sat down, Rodger observed the new entry. Nodding to himself, he spoke, "Noronica vouches for Avetinia".

[Corindia]

Fulgencio Américo quietly looked over some papers in his briefcase, and broke into a small smile.
"Corindia vouches for Avetinia"

[Vancouvia]

Augustia squirmed in her chair like an ant being taunted by a prevailing overhead boot, wondering if the League was anything more than a semi-exclusionary club of vouching. "Vancouvia vouches!" she smiled, before packing up her coat and wandering into the blistery City.

[Athara Magarat]

Ramesh smiled. "Athara Magarat vouches for Avetinia."

[Vemta]

Riza Hudgens was led into the main hall, and after greeting a few familiar officials, took the seat identified for the Vemtasi Delegation. The newly appointed Special Envoy to the League had been preparing for this moment for several days, and now the eyes of the country and the region were on her.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, the Holy Republic of Vemta is pleased to submit its formal application for membership in the League of The Western Isles. We desire to promote closer relations with our regional neighbors, and engage the regional community more in the years to come. We hope the League will be a concrete testament of that commitment."

[Corindia]

"Corindia vouches for the Holy Republic of Vemta"

[Covonant]

"Covonant vouches for both Vemta and Avetinia"

[Noronica]

"Noronica votes for Vemta."

Rodger felt a sharp vibration in his pocket. Pulling out his phone, he noticed a text message from his colleagues in Noronica.

Arvanan Aircraft has just shot down Noronnican aircraft. Inform the League.

"I am sorry to intrude, but it has just been confirmed that Arvanan Fighter jets have shot down Noronnican aircraft."

Sitting back down, Rodger began to feel queasy. He had not expected such an event.

[Athara Magarat]

"Please delegate, remain calm." Ramesh tried to reassure Rodger. "Just tell me that we are not headed for another war. Would you clarify why they did that and the damage your nation received. If this indeed was some provocation then we might even need to call Arvan to the Lwague for some questioning."

[Noronica]

Rodger took a moment to steady himself, you are a delegate to an important organisation - man up!.

"Noronica has confirmed that the threat was neutralised with minimal casualties other than two of the Arvanan's dying from ejection failure. My government has not notified me of any further developments but it has told me to standby which I assume means that I will gain further information.
It would appear as though Arván is mobilising troops, it has being doing so for a while. It's government is anti-Noronnican."

Rodger took a moment to steady himself, you are a delegate to an important organisation - man up!.

"Comrade I feel your pain. War is a terrible thing. We hope that it does not come to it, but if so you shall have our support. Arván is an immoral cesspit of capitalism and corruption. A state similar to that of Vioraux, which has begun to fracture under the weight of its million injustices. A purge of the agents of Mara would do much to aid them."

[Noronica]

"I thank you, I will be sure to inform my superiors on the subject. Let us hope that this can be sorted diplomatically, if not, Noronica may need help."
