Thaksin looked down at the notifications popping up on his iPad. A coup? What was going on? he thought to himself. Then a new notification. his brother was dead, shot demonstrating against the coup. Tears filled his eyes.

Ramesh's eyes widened. The message was from Athara Magarati Intelligence (AMI). There is a coup in Bhikkustan.

Jesus! Just when we signed a peace treaty and vowed to take a pacifist stance this has to happen. Lord, why do you happen to hate our nation so much? Ramesh prayed silently to the Holy Father as any Catholic would. Then he saw that Thaksin had tears in his eyes."Thaksin, do you need some rest?"

Ramesh announced to the League. "I would like to inform to the League that a coup is in place in Bhikkustan."

"Due to Vioraux's vouch against, it is currently four. Although Andergentina is now a member. Before we continue either the delegates should produce a resolution, or vote to move to a different topic."

"Because your nations are putting a deaf ear to the League and complaining about sanctions this and that. And you are not coming to table-talks with each other. That's why Athara Magarat believes this is now the only way." Ramesh replied to Eser.

He turned to Vienne delegate. "And please don't say that you vouched against some nation's entry because you felt like it."

Disappointed that the Kingdom of Upper Norseland and Taziristan gave failed to maintain peace.

Realizing that a coup has taken place in Bhikkustan and requires order and peace.

Knowing that many conflicts are to arise in the future.

Provides:

>Encouragement to members of the League to send peacekeepers to the Upper Norseland and Bhikkustan.

>Nations are not compelled to follow this resolution.

>Nations must not do any actions that go against this resolution or the peacekeeping missions.

Here? Ramesh was surprised but nodded without any hesitation and got off from his seat.

Barbury's phone buzzed and he glanced at it, skimmed the e-mail he had received and placed it back in his pocket. He then spoke. "I'm sorry,Ramesh," he said as the Magarati delgate stood. "Before you step out. I must inquire what the point of a resolution that doesn't mandate that people follow it is? Seems like a waste of paper to me. No, what we need to begin thinking about is more decisive measures. What we are witnessing is an example of pre-modern thinking being given modern military power. Crusades-era theology with automatic weapons and poison gas shells. While I agree with sanctions, this League should be more forward thinking. This conflict will come to an end sooner or later, and we must begin thinking of ways to prevent the next one. What will this League do to bring modern thought to bear on a modern conflict? How can we ensure that the atrocities committed in the name of religious fervor do not resurface mere moments after the last shells fall?"

Sviehl banged his gavel, "Urazawa is now admitted to the League," he turned to the AM delegate, "Mr. Ramesh, as I told you a little while ago, you can't bring up that resolution until we close the topic of Taziristan. Also we cannot send peacekeepers without permission from the country we are sending them to, in this case Bhikkustan and the Kingdom of Norseland."

Ramesh looked up from his smartphone. I understand. "I would like to humbly apologize to the nations of Taziristan and Upper Norseland for my nation's unwanted interference in their national interests. I also apologize to all other delegates and to the League for our nation's, no, my rashness. We are extremely worried about the regional peace and stability. As for the permission, we have already got Bhikkustan's permission in both public and private to intervene in their coup."

Ramesh smiled at Barbury. "Of course, there are many shortcomings of this resolution. You are right that this conflict will end sooner or later. And as the Secretary General mentioned, my nation has not been given permission by neither Taziristan nor KUN. So it seems we will not have this resolution for a while. But what else can Athara Magarat do to prevent another KUN-Taziristan incident? I will repeat again that my nation is took rash decisions because we were extremely worried about Taziristani and Norse peoples."

You see, the higher-ups are eager to get KUN-Taziristan thing patched up so that they can use the League as a means to send AM troops to Bhikkustan.

Ŋalíjas' face contorted into a snarl for a brief second before he composed himself. "I have said it before and I say it again. Skaitsya WILL NOT heed any call for sanctions on Taziristan. The KUN has behaved in a despicable manner and must be punished." His eyes were full of rage, KUN murders tens of innocents and the league does little, Taziristan declares a war to avenge those innocents and the league starts stabbing he thought. "This is not a religious war. This is a war to avenge the innocent blood spilled by the KUN. To liken it the crusades is a gross exaggeration.

Ŋalíjas fingered his belt-buckle thoughtfully, his rage lessened. If the world was Skaijekä everything would be so much better.
