I mean its been a good 1000 years since the Dark Lord was trompin about. Isn't far to believe that you erected the wall to defend agains the waining Empire of the Dark Lord.

Of course he can have a wall if he likes, but it would not have kept himself from the Dark Lord's clutches.

Its just "limited" so I mean I don't mind you having like a horse substitute, or some flying creatures. But it all just should be a minority of what you have. I only have 2 dragons and even then they will only be used when agreed upon by both players and when it is part of the story.

Using the whole light/fire motif I was thinking of having a Phoenix if was allowed, in the typical fantasy sense rather than the tiny harry potter version, but nothing crazy.

I don't expect it would be used for burning anything down except in an end of worlds scenario - I'd expect it would be cloistered on a mountain top with the upper echelons of the Church or something like that - mostly a religious icon and used for healing more than destruction, as resurrection is a phoenix thing I like that aspect of it, though I wouldn't go so far as to actually go around using it to bring people back to life (Unless that was a plot device).

I'd make noises about eagles and other flying creatires, but i think your evaluation of eagles being deus ex machina is pretty spot-on.

As for giant squid..... The oceans are dark and full of terror, lol. Once you gaze into the abyss, it gazes back upon you.

Listen people, I do allot to keep this RP going. I also have a work and family, so unfortunately I don't have as much time as I would want to work on stuff for this. I am only one person try to do all these things.

But if you complain about the speed of things after only a couple days, or repeatadly keep bringing something up over and over without helping out and some way or contributing to the completion of things, I will make sure it takes longer. I am not an administrative slave.

It was not, at all, intended as a complaint, and I'm sorry if it was viewed that way - I was merely expressing how when one of those rare moments of inspiration comes a long it can be a trouble to be concerned over whether any work done would be wasted.

I've invested enough time in things such as these to know what it entails, and also made the mistake of writing a good amount for things that have never come to be. If you wish constructive input then you only have to specify upon what. (I also do not know if this is specifically directed at me, as all I've done is ask a question previously)

Well, we could kickstart the thing by just having Shie invade Carsepolis? I was waiting to see how the Carsepolis-Taniar thing plays out, then figure out what the Shie are gonna do. Given what's happened so far, I was thinking of using the volatile Carsepolitan politics as an excuse to get the Shie armies moving to "support" the "legitimate" Carsepolitan Grand Admiral (presumably, my merchants would have gotten wind or noticed the stirring up of things and then reported back). I would prefer to avoid simply invading for the sake of it, but if we wanna get the party started, I can go ahead and write that up.

i personally have no issue with the pace things have been moving at but if everyone else is getting antsy then do what you must. there's enough groundwork for people to build off.

Well I did have one, but Idk what happened to him... and I have been thinking about asking for another, I have to think of who to ask.
