Got our UN-type thing set up; we're calling it the Congress of Nations.

It should be headquartered in one of the victors of our WWII-type war, but we should also have major offices in other nations. Pretty much everyone should be part of it, including nations with egregious human rights abuses.

I think we should have a mountainous west. We both have administrative regions suggesting that the area is relatively sparsely populated, so I think it could work!

So, space programs.


The titans (I use that word in the loosest sense, since right now I don't even know the full list of who has a space programme and who doesn't and what that program's accomplishments might be) of space right now seem to be Jeongmi, Akitsukuni, Zhouran, and Qinyue. Zhouran's space program sounds (from what I gathered) to be a point of immense national pride and a really big deal, so I assume they're among the most advanced and best funded. Not sure how far Akitsukuni has gone beyond the obligatory orbital death platforms stuffed with nuclear-tipped missiles. Jeongmi, as an America analogue, probably had a reasonably advanced space program and was maybe the first to the Moon (suggestion..?)? Like America, their program might now be weakened and weakening further but idk.


I'm making a wiki page for Qinyue's space program, if everyone could either do the same and post a link when it's got a rough outline of your program's accomplishments (just what you'd like it to have done, first Moon walk, first lunar orbiter, whatever) and scope (do you have one shitty old Gemini with no booster, or do you have a space elevator, for example?). That way we can work all this shit out.

I wouldn't say the most advanced and best funded. There's Jeongmi. But yeah, not only is Zhouran's space program a value for nationalism and pride, but it's also a propaganda value too. As a result, the results of a mission would be delayed until success was achieved. If a mission fails, it would be kept classified.

Anyway, Tiandi's should have their own version of the International Space Station. Haven't made up a name yet though. If we were to have a space station similar to the ISS, is has to be modular like the ISS. That means that it will be using different segments from different nations eg. a Jeongmian segment, Akitsukunese segment, et cetera et cetera.

Oh, and since the late 1990s, Zhouran is willing to send foreign satellites to space. So, like the Russians and Chinese, the Zhouranese are willing to send anyone's satellite to space, for profit.

Also, Zhouran has a space program similar to the RL Interkosmos program. So yes, we're happy to send your nation's astronaut to space, even if they're from nations who might not be friendly with Zhouran. The only thing is that they need to be either scientists or air force pilots. Plus, space has no political borders.
