OOC: The programme started in the early 1980's, and like I said, I'm far from finalizing the design of the aircraft, I've only just introduced a prototype.

With the major city of Dashmiz being threatened (population 1,400,000,) Spetsnaz teams hunt down GZPF loyalists within the city, and the USP, and armored convoys of T-72s and BTR-80s cross over from the Khovat SR to rally around the city.

Ghuryani rebels seize factories in Ghuryani, overpowering the workers who are typically loyal to the USP. They are re-appropriated to produce makeshift weaponry for Zhoki Ghuryanistan.

The USP dispatches Spetsnaz to obtain information.

Fierce combat breaks out in Western Ghuryanistan, but the USP troop surge eventually overcomes the rebels after several months of combat, with heavy air support. The war becomes similar to Sakhandar, with the rebels operating out of rural areas under threat from Soyuza aerial assaults and heavy bombing.

The rebels begin moving towards Dashmiz, often detaining any loyalists who come in their path. Weaponry is provided by the Jinn, and Tu-22Ms are dispatched to bomb supply convoys along the border.

Rebels are attacked daily by Soyuza airstrikes, although a fair number are lost to Ghuryani missiles and AA defenses, a mixture of captured weaponry and second-rate supplies from the Jinn Empire. Despite this, guerilla attacks take place on military bases outside of Dashmiz, which are responded to with heavy airpower and armored sweeps, as well as helicopters.
