Also with the new Omega American Constitution, every time a president is elected, the capital city shall be moved, where the Congress and President shall reside, although the permanent city that represents Omega America is New Omegaton.

Military parade-Show of force held in Ridora

Amongst the finishing of the war, and with all the bloodshed stopped, Shadownian Military Forces have held a show of force/parade in Ridrora. The Marines have been deployed from the SNS Shadownia, the old 1963 carrier brought back from deaths door in the war, has been used as a amphibious platform during the show of force. On the coast of Ridora, near the shipyards, she will become a museum. Targets have been set up on the coast, and citizens have watched from a distance the marines combat targets.

There have been F-18,s F-16's, Shadownian M-6 Broncos, and many more aircraft displaying a show above Ridora. The M-6's have attacked some old cars set up on the field of battle. Later on, the military held a parade in Ridora.

The Army had 4,000 representatives, including Army Falcons, a special forces unit. Lightning Squadron, a special operations air force unit consisting of M-6 Broncos and a A-50C performed a show just as it had started. The Marines had 260 personnel marching, the Airforce Ground Control having 110, and the Amphibious Attack Squadron marching with 16 members. In the parade has been Arms shows, tanks, etc. Asher M8's and M9's drove in the middle, while Army Ka-60's flew over with waving survivors of the Omegan War.

And to finish the parade, an old Naval Tanker was sunk by the SNS Winter and SNS Krawedz, with a finish off of over 30 aircraft flaring green smoke, and one Sabertooth Transport which let off white smoke.

Shadownian Expedition to Artic disrupted by Pirates 50 miles off the coast of Argentina
Two Icebreakers and one Loyalty Class frigate were ambushed by a pirate vessel, specifically an old Devolsityan boat. No one on the expedition was killed but the patrol boat fired a counter missile and blew the helm off the ship. The Arctic Class icebreakers opened fire with their machine guns. The old boat, a cruiser, fired a torpedo from a makeshift launcher but missed. The Loyalty class launched two missiles to destroy the torpedo, but one hit the water and the other made contact with the pirate's ship. It started flooding, and it fired shells back at the frigate. All three Shadownian vessels escaped and the Loyalty was repaired. Piracy is on the rise once more.

PRESIDENT GILLA MAKES SPEECH AT HOPE SPRINGS
President Gilla has made a speech at the Captiol of Hope Springs that is here to be read:
"My fellow Omega Americans, I didn't have a proper inaugural speech. So now I shall give all of you people the reason why I am President, and what I will do to preserve Omega America. My fellow Omega Americans, we have been shielded by constant war and struggles with foreign nations over a number of issues, many of them pointless. I cannot express my despair for the millions of souls lost in the Empire-CSN War. And they were all for a cause that was for Omega America to take over the world and an Empire. But, those souls were not lost in vain. No, they were lost for a new age! For a new peace that all Omega Americans shall have in saying, I take pride in being an Omega American! Our past has made one thing clear. It has made clear not of what we should do, but what we shouldn't do. We shall never get right or what we should do. No country will. But we can get close in making it our own paradise. That begins now. What we have beginning here is the closest that I think that we, Omega Americans, can agree is close to a paradise. I am here to announce that we shall not get involved in any wars unless it threatens our country! I am here to announce that the government has been stripped of much of its powers, giving the states as much power, giving the people more power! That is our goal! To give the people power! Small Unchartered Island Off the Coast of Omega America
The pilot looked foward towards a barely visible island, while still trying to hold control of the Omega American Black Stainer Fighter Jet. He looked at his watch. Five more minutes to go. He waited longer, and flew closer. Three more minutes to go. He flew lower and began the video recorder on the jet. One more minute. He began to count down, and began to turn around. Twenty more seconds. He turned on the main engines and began to fly backwards but still seeing the island. Five, Four, Three, Two, One... The entire sky lit up as if the sun had crashed down to the earth. A loud blast boomed through the plane, as the pilot began his trip home. Above the island, a bright mushroom cloud developed as bright as the sun. The unpopulated island was blown out of the water. Test 105/445 was complete. The new bomb would be put in storage to collect dust. What a shame, the pilot thought looking back at the new dust collector for the ACX Military Facility.

HUGE MILITARY CHANGE PUT INTO EFFECT
A huge suprise came to Omega America as President Gilla announced the next part in the plan to create a country by the people, for the people. The announcement was that the military was going to be splintered off, into State Militias. Each state has a Militia, every state has the ability to protect themselves anytime, without the Formal Military getting involved. The system shall include the construction of more Military Facilities, that will only be used for Militias. Militias can only be used in huge threats to Omega America, including threats from inside the government. The Miltias each might look different depending on the State. Omega America will still have a formal military, just part of it will be for State Militias, that cannot go overseas, the Miltias cannot enter oversea conflicts, only if the enemy invades Omega America.

Have being recently elected, Omega America's first female President, Sarah Dillenson is making a speech at the elected Capital City of Laropolis in the western part of Omega America. Here is the President as she makes her speech:
"People of Omega America, we are on the threshold of creating a place where we can live peacefully and happily. We are close in creating a society here in our country where we can live without getting involved in other countries affairs, without the suffering of Depression or War. We just need to keep going, and we can make it. In our world, women have made a huge difference in our lives. And as the first female President, I would like to say thank you. We must now push forward, to make sure all can live happily. To do that, we must ensure the freedoms of the people aren't false acquisitions by the government but that they are true freedoms, protected not by just us, but themselves! Everyone protects their rights of freedom. It is time to tear down the pyramid of tyranny, and polish the pyramid of freedom! We have started, we shall shave off corruption, for corruption is the heart of our countries problems. The biggest problem in the world is in your pocket: money. Corruption. As President, I will do my best to ensure that corruption ends here! And that we will have future without corrupt Politicans, but trustworthy politicians! Day of Foundation!
Many years ago and three days aswell, a fleet of war torn civilians and surviving rebels came from Poland all the way to South America for refuge. Diseases wiped out an estimated 75,000 of the 85,000 that came to Shadownia following their arrival. But before the diseases, a nation was formed. RUMORS OF ANNEXATION OF SOUTH SUDAN AND SUDAN
After a recent memo from a government worker, rumors have been flying that the Omega American government has been in talks with both government for months now trying to reach a deal to help them and help Omega America. President Dillenson has came out and has said that she assures everyone that talks have been going on between the two governments, but no annexation is to be made until a deal is reached.

Vaikneland Parliament Reminisces Past War on Rumour of Annexation of the Sudans by Omega America

Whilst the government of Omega America may be considering the annexation of Sudan and South Sudan, Parliament discusses the aftermath of the past war which has been waged in parts of the region. We support Omega America's actions in spreading into the region, as it will establish UAN influence concentrated in Africa unlike ever before. The large territory conveyed by UAN members in Africa has been considered, "a trek that has not yet been made, yet one that is fully possible, and necessary." Possible trade opportunities have been proposed amongst Parliament regarding the Vaiknel-controlled port city of Djibouti, which could give access to trade with Omega America much more efficiently and faster.

PRESIDENT MICHAELS MAKES PRESIDENTIAL SPEECH AT CARRISVILLE
This afternoon, shortly after being elected, President Michaels has made a speech at Carrisville, the new capital, about his plans for Omega America.

"People of Omega America, we are gathered here today to celebrate not the entering of a new president, but a new age of freedom for the people. This country was by the people for the people, and that's how I intend to make this country remain. By the people, for the people. Not ruling the people, not controlling the people, but this country is for the people. On the top of my list, is the possible annexation of South Sudan and Sudan. Let me make one thing clear: We are not imperialists. We disagree with imperialists, and goes against the very meaning of this country. As for the annexation, talks are still going on, as it looks now, we will have permission. Wether we take it our not depends on how the people feel. If most people disagree, then we will not annex. If the agree, we will annex. Also on my list is to cut down funds for oversea military bases and direct more funds to study of dinosaurs in DinoLand, and a new space program that will take man to Mars and beyond. My goal as President is to ensure the rights of the people are protected for corruption, and are filled with the life that they deserve. Thank you, and God bless."

NEW SPACE ADMINISTRATION OPENED FOR OMEGA AMERICA
After saying that he would create a new space program, President Michaels has took it a step further. It was announced today that the Omega American Space Administration (OASA) has now shut down, and all projects and designs will now be directed to the newly formed Omega American Space Administration Studies and Laboratories (OASASL). The new program has taken the developed Daring II Rocket which will be tested to take humans back to the moon and beyond. An estimated $6 billion was granted to OASASL to begin to study new ways and designs of engines and fuel conservation as well as safer rockets for the future.
NEWS ON POSSIBLE ANNEXATION OF SOUTH SUDAN AND SUDAN
News has just come in about the situation in South Sudan and Sudan about a possible annexation of both countries to Omega America. We can now confirm talks are over between the governments. President Michaels has announced that an election to see if Omega Americans want the annexation on Saturday. If majority Omega Americans say no, then the annexation will not happen. Also notable is the fact that a $1 million has been given to South Sudan for unknown reasons as of yet.

The vote today was held to see if Omega America should or shouldn't annex South Sudan and Sudan. The results are now in, with 88% of the population voting.

No: 55%
Sith the higher number towards no, President Michaels has decided it best not to annex South Sudan and Sudan.

OASASL RELEASES FIRST LAUNCH DATE
With the opening of the OASASL, they have announced that the Daring II Rocket will be tested next Wednesday. The hope is that with it unmanned it can reach the atmosphere, and then manned tests will be scheduled. Depending on the test next Wednesday, the first manned test could take place from a few weeks to a month ahead or behind schedule.

DARING II ROCKET TEST IS A SUCCESS
Today, the cheering was loud in the OASASL Command Center as the Daring II Rocket successfully lifted off and went into the atmosphere. With computer controls, OASASL officials were also able to successfully land the craft in the Pacific. The success has inspired President Michaels too give another staggering $1 billion to the OASASL to continue their work and research. With the success of an unmanned flight, the OASASL has scheduled a manned flight for the craft to be next Tuesday, and OASASL officials also said they will make adjustments to the engines and steering for manned flights.
GOVERNMENT CONSIDERS ANOTHER POLL FOR THE ANNEXATION OF SOUTH SUDAN AND SUDAN
Following the election for if Omega America should annex South Sudan and Sudan, the winning vote was NO, but now, Congress is beginning to consider another election. According to many in Congress, the poll was, "To close," and "Needs to be re-done". President Michaels has so far not said anything, Congress can't allow another election without the President's approval, and the State's approval. Many Omega Americans don't wish that South Sudan and Sudan to be annexed, although some say YES.

TERRORIST ATTACKS DELAY DARING II MANNED ROCKET TEST; HUNDREDS DEAD
Following dozens of recent terrorists attacks in Omega America, the test for the Daring II Manned Rocket Test has been delayed significantly, especially when some of the attacks are directed towards the OASASL. President Michaels says he is doing all he can to make sure the people of Omega America are safe. President Michaels also says that we still do not know what terrorist group they work for and why they are attacking. The latest attack puts casualties at hundreds, making more and more Omega Americans afraid of what is to come to their country.
