The sound of the plane's engines washed out the noise from the commotion created due to the British royal visit.
"You have been cleared for landing on Runway D.", said the air traffic controller, as King George VI's plane landed at the Athens airport. Soon after, King George VI exited the plane. He walked into a bevy of both Greek and international press present at the airport.
"Do you support The Kingdom of Greece?", asked a reporter
"Yes, of course I do, that's why I'm here.", said King George VI
"Are you going to see the Acropolis, and other sites in the city?", askes another reporter
"Yes, yes. I am quite delighted to do so, at that.", said the King as he shook hands with people in the crowd. Soon, a Daimler limousine accompanied by a motorcade pulled up to the runway, and the driver said, "Welcome to Greece, your highness! We shall be your transportation while you're here in the city.", said the driver, as King George and his family entered the limo.
"First we take you to the Acropolis, King George.", said the driver. "Oh, enough with that, you can call me Bertie.", said the King, as they made their way towards the Acropolis. In about 30 minutes time, they were at the Acropolis. "Alright. We are here. A tour guide is outside to give yoh a tour of the Acropolis, I hope you will find it to be to your liking.", said the driver, as the King and his family exited the limo, and made their way towards the tour guide.

"Hello, and welcome to the Acropolis! My name is Niko, and I will be you tour guide today. One of the most ancient complexes in Greece, and in the world! The hill on which this great complex was built has been inhabitated since the the fourth millennium BC! A very long time indeed! This hill is actually, a big, flat-top rock. The majority of The Acropolis of Athens was built during the fifrh century BC by Pericles. You may not know this but, the Acropolis is only one or many Acropolises throughout Greece, this is just the most famous acropolis.", said the tour guide, as he walked them through the various buildings of The Acropolis.
"As you may see, there is some damage to these buildings. This is due to age, and the Morean War of 1687; when the Greeks used The Acropolis to store gunpowder in, and The Acropolis was attacked cannon fire by the seiging Venetians.", said Niko the tour guide, as he showed them around The Acropolis. Within an hour's time, their tour was finished, and they were off to see King Otto's house.

"Hello, your majesty!", said King George VI. I am glad to have finally met you. I followed your travel advice, and saw the sights of Athens. This is quite a beautiful, remarkable city.", said King George. "I am also pleased to have you meet my wife, Queen Elizabeth, and my daughters Margaret and Elizabeth.", he said, as his daughters and wife curtsied, and then they all sat down beside King Georgios IV and his family.
"Now, if you don't mind me calling you George, you can call me Bertie. Now, onto diplomatic matters. Since this is such a beautiful city, we wouldn't want it to fall to communism. We must prevent The Socialist Republic of Greece from gaining any territory, and we must retake the territory they have taken from The Kingdom of Greece. I hope that our military aid has been helping your cause. Now, I would like to offer an additional £75,000,000 in exchange for the right to construct RAF and British Army stations and garrisons in Greece. In exchange we would like to claim the Dodecanese and Ionian Islands as British Protectorates. I hope you shall find my proposal to your liking.", said King George VI

Second Modern Rome wrote:"NO! We have YOU surrounded!" Blares a voice from a Spanish Amphibious Assault Ship. Spanish Naval reinforcements had came from the Spanish Mainland and have cornered off the Royal Navy. Five Victoria Class Battleships aim their turrets at the British fleet and give them a warning to turn back or face the consequences.
Meanwhile, back on the Canadian Carrier, Naval Commander Jose Lopez replies to the Canadian Commander...
"Leverage, what leverage? I just received word that your Royal Navy reinforcements just got cornered off by a Spanish fleet from the mainland. I am warning you, once the Royal Navy is out of the way," he says in a nervous tone, as in a caring voice for the lives of the Canadians, "they will come for you next. This little Canadian fleet is nothing compared to fourteen heavily armed and heavily armored Spanish ships. If the Royal Navy gets put out of the way, just imagine what could happen to your fleet. The Royal Navy is already losing the battle, especially their fighter jets," As Commander Lopez hears an Me-262 pilot proudly shout on his radio, "ANOTHER ENEMY DOWN!" Commander Lopez then says, "All i want is the best for your lives, the lives of the Royal Navy, and the lives of my men most of all. Now, please, we will have one military facility in Mexico. I don't know why you are worried, for it is only a small encampment that I want. Just give me this and this whole conflict will be over. Your men can return to their families unharmed, well, most of them. Your fleet can go back to Canada to repair. Things between Spain, Canada, and the British will be good again. Come on, Canadians aren't supposed to like war. Let us end this!!!"

ENCRYPTION- LEVEL III
Official Communique from The British Empire
To: The Congolese Republic
From: Prime Minister Clement Atlee, on the behalf of His Royal Highness King George VI of The British Empire, King of The British Empire and all Associated Realms, Dominions and Protectorates, Emperor of The British Empire, Protector of The People of The Empire, and Defender of The Faith
Dear The Congolese Republic,
The British Empire condemns The Congolese Republic for not allowing the region of Katanga the rights which The Congolese Republic enjoys.
The British Empire believes that there is no need to mention past treaties, as they are irrelevant to this matter. Furthermore, The British Empire was not offering The Congolese Republic an "unequal treaty", rather it was a very fair treaty. In addition, cocoa is a Congolese naturak resource as The Belgian Congo was and still is Belgium's main source of cocoa for it's fine chocolates.
Furthermore, The British Empire finds it both humourous and ludicrous that standards of living are to be the same in Belgium and The Congolese Republic. Such an assertion is absurd and false. Have you ever visited Belgium? Have you seen what high standard of living Belgians enjoy? Perhaps if your nation had waited, and stayed Belgian, the standard of living would have improved and been up to par with Belgium. But rather, your nation acted with haste, and declared independence, not knowing the consequences of doing such a thing.
In addition, our offer of 5,000 troops station at our "few plantations" was not an unequal treary whatsover. Also, 500 plantations is not a few plantations, but rather many. As The Congolese Republic is a very dangerous place, we shall immediately station 5,000 troops (equal to 10 soldiers at each plantation.) at our plantations and factories across the Congo.
The British Empire urges The Congolese Republic to allow Katanga the right of self-determination, which The Congolese Republic has been afforded in recent times.
Regards,
British Prime Minister Clement Atlee on the behalf of His Royal Highness King George VI of The British Empire, King of The British Empire and all Associated Realms, Dominions and Protectorates, Emperor of The British Empire, Emperor of British India, Protector of The Peoples of The Empire, Defender of The Faith

I never said anything about race, you said "in this day and age" so that has nothing to do with Mexican-American relations at this point.
