Looks mostly good, however, I would prefer that people waited to adopt the 'subcosmo' idea until I've used it in battle (with or against) another EE state. As of right now, it's seen action once, half a galaxy away from Earth and is still considered a highly secret project by the Russians.

Thrashing a xeno sounds fun but meh xenos usually have allies I have seen some funny looking spacecraft going by the name of battlestars in long range scans they seem to be a trifle popular with alot of races, shoddily built i must say ugly to!

Also i wanna stab at energy weapons, not lasers but actual lightning guns, what dya think the effect would be ? id plan for them to simply overload shields and stuff like that a surge that fries the generator and any systems it passes through.

It's really up to him to decide, as long as he keeps in mind that we've only had FTL travel for about 30-40 years at this point. That means that it's unlikely we've terraformed any planets significantly, so major colonies would be limited to worlds that already had a suitable environment.

Also, just to put more emphasis on this and remind people, battleships/dreadnoughts are a BIG deal. Losing one will be a major event, even for the British or Russians, simply because they're so expensive. Of course, they're amazingly well armored and shielded, to the point where two battleships could probably broadsides each other for a few hours without either being seriously damaged, barring a lucky hit.

aye ano i dunno wah to do with them atm but they depending on what happens will play an integral role in my later plans i was hoping some one would come along as Japan at some point but these are very late plans to do with the Sol system, i have allot of work to do before that

First thread will be up in moments, basic idea is:

The Afghan Khanate is trying desperately to launch an interplanetary fleet. The Khan (and the rest of the government) requires a lot of money though as I'm going to first strive to develop a ship then end up buying a very obsolete model. The money will be taken via force/favors/other stuff from the Opium farmers centered around Islamic controlled Kandahar.

I would also like to establish some basic relations as well between Russia (OMG) and whomever is playing Britain (I assume the British Federation) as the Great Game could be so much sweeter in space.

The government is very factional and has difficulty maintaining control outside of the core provinces...Which is, of course, what makes the place such a bugger to conquer. Fiercely independent tribespeople don't take well to conquest and all that.

In terms of relations, they'd probably be able to weasel some favors out of either the Russians or the British with concessions in terms of territory, rights of passage and all that, but if they tried to play both sides it could go badly for them.

I'm playing Afghanistan more or less as it was in the 19th century, though I am throwing in some things from today such as a group that is known as the "Taliban of Islam" (Students of Islam). As this Afghanistan was never conquered by the Persian dynasties that made it into an Islamic state this Indian/Pakistani (fellow Pashto) groups works to spread Islam throughout Afghanistan.

More will be made clear once I update my factbook to change the late 1700s to the 2500s or wherever we are.

(also in regards to favors, expect them to try and play both sides against each other but end up simply doing nothing and paying both sides not to crush them.)
