On a serious note, I've updated my fleet. For an idea of what it takes to mount a 20+ inch gun on a mobile ship, observe the Tsarskoe Pushka class of vessels. A 34", very powerful, gun, at the expense of cutting down an existing battleship, radically modifying the hull, and creating a weapon which runs most of the length of the ship. The rest of the ship is dedicated to either powering or cooling the main gun, with a few defensive weapons on the side.

20" in a TURRET is too big. If you have your WHOLE SHIP dedicated to ONE GUN it's a different matter. That's virtually the only way you can practically meet the power requirements to both move and shoot.
Think the Ion Cannon Frigates from Homeworld. That's the same basic idea. Only bigger and worth building in the late game
@FS_America
When one shielded object impacts against another, they act like solid objects, just as if the shield was a solid object. If two shields overlap when they're turned on, the shield that was turned on later will terminate at the point of contact with the first.
You can go ahead and make a new thread if you like.
