He looks out the car, noting his surroundings.

Old, almost medieval looking buildings are seen as they pass into a small village in Volkstrad. The signs are in Bulgarian and German, as they are in Zelyazko. The cars still look like they were made in the forties, but clearly have more updated internal features. They stop for gas and keep heading North until they end up crossing the border of Patrientul, where everything changes to being Romanian.

He keeps quite not uttering a word.

Romuva no longer tolerates these attacks and now declares full out war and backs Volkstrad. All troops are mobilized and all ships start to blockade the strait.

Marya Sharifov runs to her tank, air raid sirens splitting the air. The battalion commander gives a speech from the top of his tank. "The Romuvans have awoken from their slumber in support of the Volkstradi invaders, and we'll give them the same treatment we're giving them at Subovka! To battle, comrades! For our families, country, and the people!"

A naval officer, Lt. Aegeus Jashari, meets up with his friends before their sub the Hladan leaves port.
"So, this is finally happening." his friend Josip says to him.
"Yes, and we will give those bastards a real taste of Romuvan metal!" Aegeus says before he gets to his post and prepares to depart into the Black Sea.

The Golden Sea (Black Sea) Fleet mobilizes in Chernova, awaiting a Romuvan attack. MiG-21s fan out across the sea, their radars looking for any sign of the enemy.

In Yurikhan, the troops are mobilized, prepared for a Romuvan ground invasion.

The units in the Suez prepare, waiting for another round of bombing campaigns.

There is no attack. The main fleet full of frigates, destroyers, and other battleships await patiently with their many cannons and anti-air batteries as the subs depart damn near silently with their Stirling engines. Not even Romuvan engineers have developed anything capable of picking up the subs movements.

Marya waits in the hatch. It's a beautiful, sunny day as usual in the Yurikhan, on the warm side. Gentle rolling hills fan out in front, craggy mountains in the distance. She watches and waits.
