Government loyalists/JNA - currently the de-facto government, they have the loyalty of some of the Army, and paramilitary guerrillas of the JNA. Isolationist, fundamentalist Zhokis. Anti-foreigner and anti-annexation.
Jinn Communist Party - wish for the inclusion of the country into the SSZF, and the associated reforms. Socialists are also included under this umbrella.
Zhoki Moderate Confederation - a broad alliance of generally rightist groups. Wish to combat both the Communists and the government. Isolationist and anti-annexation - essentially a toned-down form of the JNA. Wish to keep Zhoki as the state religion.

After police and military kill or wound thousands of protesters, armed revolt breaks out. Three main factions arise -

Government loyalists/JNA - currently the de-facto government, they have the loyalty of some of the Army, and paramilitary guerrillas of the JNA. Isolationist, fundamentalist Zhokis. Anti-foreigner and anti-annexation.
Jinn Communist Party - wish for the inclusion of the country into the SSZF, and the associated reforms. Socialists are also included under this umbrella.
Zhoki Moderate Confederation - a broad alliance of generally rightist groups. Wish to combat both the Communists and the government. Isolationist and anti-annexation - essentially a toned-down form of the JNA. Wish to keep Zhoki as the state religion.

Volkstrad will support none of them, but will only actively strike against the Loyalists.
The Stalker unit begins to monitor the government's main command areas, preparing to take action as soon as any high-profile targets show their heads.

The SSZF declares support for the Communists, but ships humanitarian aid to all in the country. Chairman Damir Beshimov asks the Zhoki Confederation for an alliance against the government, which they accept.
