Well, I for one, am quite glad to finally see you enter the fray; it was starting to feel a little lonely amongst all those Taledonian supporters. Lovely post by the way, your people also sound quite interesting to me. Can't wait to discover more about them.

Sorry for the long wait, will start evacuation on my next post (which may be today or tomorrow). So to address some confusion some people may get from my post:

-The Tnemeden are unisexual. I forgot to take out all the gender-specific pronouns and spent the last forever editing and re-editing until it sounded presentable, replacing them with "it" until I find a method to convey them whilst still being gender non-specific. This was a bitch, which is why it took forever to produce so little. Ideas would be welcome to help with this, (BTW, "Tnemeden" is "Nem-me-den"; silent T if anyone is curious on the phonetics).

-The Bakrans don't have the computer systems at the moment to translate and therefore respond, so no one would blame you for wanting to investigate the ship. Don't fret, since sensors are offline weapons won't fire automatically and the bridge crew won't fire on non-hostile looking ships.

Hope this is ok, if you guys want me to respond to what's going on more I can certainly do that in the form of an EDIT or post, I just don't want to be caught behind in posting and not explaining accurately what's going on within the Starlight.

Well, I tried hard to finish my response tonight, but it's late and I am rapidly becoming tired. I can guarantee you that my next post will be up sometime tomorrow.

Temptingly juicy, I won't likely join soon since I'm needing to be able to keep up with other RPs and school but still if I've got time to spare...

Apologies, will hopefully post tonight/tomorrow in between scholarship applications and work.

EDIT: I've been talking to Zarathoft and I've sort of backed myself into a corner when it comes to interaction. Anyone want to do something? I'm planning on have the translation systems online so I can actually interact better, which was a slight on my part.

Well, it seems I have claim to the spot of latest post. Sorry for the lack of details, Taledonia, but you don't have a Factbook with your ship specs. Hopefully the patchwork job suffices, and I look forward to your next post! And I cannot wait to meet you, Zarathroft

Yeah, I'm in the process of revamping my factbook page. Best way to describe my ships are big wooden ships bristling with guns like during the age of sail. But made of metal. And in space. They're slow moving, turn like beached whales, but have enough shielding and firepower that allows them their leisurely progress through war zones.

Many apologies for lack of posting, I am still heavily invested in this RP, just waiting for another post or two. Trying to get myself back in the mix since I've done an (unintentionally) good job of not keeping myself involved, apologies for that as well. Will evacuate then find my forces on two different sides soon.

Everyone here must also be Canadian, just from the sheer amount of apologising that's going on. I shall get something up tomorrow, folks!

I think we're all in that state of mind... We all need to get our butts in gear

And Taledonia, please... if that isn't good, I don't know what is.

Too kind by far, sir, but I was unhappy with it. Was somewhat rushed, and couldn't summon any creativity to add enough detail. Didn't capture enough emotion or describe the conditions very well at all; just quick howdya do's.

I would say that it is most likely my turn to post, apologies for the delay. I have had a busy few days, but I will try to have a reply up in the very near future for everyone.

Yeah, it's also my turn... but this is the last week of the grading period. I'm so stressed that if I wrote a post now it would be about Veris self-destructing the ship and taking everyone with him. I think I'll hold off till the weekend.

I think I'll bump this; I don't want it to die so soon. There's a lot of great roleplayers here, and it would be quite a shame! That being said, this is the only time I'll bump it, so if you don't want to continue, just keep not posting :p

I'm wanting to post, but feel like there hasn't been enough of everyone else to work off of. But seeing as how Zarathoft is being a butt, I may just have to make due with events already written, putting a time lag on his attack.

As far as I'm concerned, there's no abandoning of this thread.
