Story

In 320 BC Alriv was a nation of opportunity and wonder. The young nation's people had just united and established a nation that had so much hope. But then tradegy struck. The Daritiians came. In the anicent times, Daritiians sailed all over Western South America and North America, in their ships that were more advanced than the ones built by the Romans. The men and their warrior Chief, which is called an Ilnii, jumped off their boats and began harvesting plants. The Alrivians flet threatened by them and attacked them. They killed the Ilnii. The angered Daritiian began to destroy all the Alrivians made and forced them back into the jungle. In the 1800s, the British would conquer Alriv.

They would regain their independence in 1965. In 1969 however, the Daritiians would return to Alriv. Now civilized, the Daritiians wanted to establish a communist government in Alriv, and they succeed. The People's Republic of Alriv was a close trading partner of the Socialist Republic of Daritii and in 1973, developed a booming economy. But in 1983 the economy would collapse and in 1986 Alriv had a cou d'tea and became the Federal Republic of Alriv. The Socialist Republic of Daritii invaded once more in an attempt to revert this change in government. But after condemnation from the world community, the Socialist Republic of Daritii would withdraw in 1990. But they continued to illegaly occupied parts of Alriv.

Today Alriv is suffering from economic turmoil and a famine. Deep in debt, no economy and with it's people starving, the President of Alriv, Michintick Aswarzin, it's planning on resigning. Hunger riots are constant. Crime is high and the police is underfunded. Most people live without electricity and proper plumbing. Many people live in makeshift homes and sometimes drown during floods. many children are employed at sweatshops or other forms of child labor and many don't recieve a proper education. Many people starve and their bodies are left to be eaten by animals or are eaten by starving citizens. Healthcare is almost nonexistent. The Federal Republic of Alriv still refuses to default on it's loans. But now the police and military are planning on a cou d'tea and forming military junta. Alriv is broken...

Alriv is also presently recovering from four earthquakes from 1997, 2002, 2005 and 2010. Alriv also suffered from many aftershocks in recent years.

Ic: In a city that is suffering from a drought, citizens are desperatly trying to get food. They break into the homes and steal food, water and medicine or murder and eat the people inside. The police quickly get into action. But upon arrival the citizens charge at them and kill a few. Fearing for their lives, the police open fire at the people while fleeing. Fires and riots erupt as the police flee the city.

The government of Alriv confirms the reports of canabalism and pleas for help.

You see, I'm only here to re-write Alriv's constitution, which I completed last month. Once I resign, full democracy will return. You see, this dictatorship only occured because of how unstable our nation has been in the past. In 1986 a fascist dictator took power but was overthrown in 1992. Then a military junta was in power from 1992-1994. They were then briefly replaced by a oligarchy which ruled from 1994-1995. Then true democracy was finally established. But it was corrupt and after two presidents the oligarchy took power in 2007 and ruled until 2009 where they had me elected.

I presently fear that the Socialist Republic of Daritii will invade us and establish a communist dictatorship soon.

Daritiian soldiers move into Daritiian occupied Alriv and plan to end the cease fire. Mysterious number stations also begin to broacast strange messages.

Upon hearing that UMU is sending aid to the Federal Republic of Alriv, it is decided that the invasion must happen as soon as possible.

We're willing to lend you two-hundred riot police specialists, free food trade and £D~1,000,000,000; in return we would like your 'president' to sign a peace and defense treaty which will keep peace between our two countries, along with Isle of Freemen treaty of good will and free will which will mean that your country will have to make a report every two years on your economy and GPD for the Isle of Freemen to review and see if aid should be continued.

All of us in the commission trurly wish you'll reply to our letter and accept our offer. Lord-Commissioner Winston Chambe the High-Commissioner of the state Commission, sends his deepest regards and hopes that if you accept the deal, he can travel to your great country for a state visit to make sure everything is in great order. Our navy has been ordered to blockade the Alriv from the seas.

Upon hearing news of the collapse of the decadent Alriv, the Great Leader immediately began making his plans. Time and time again, the failures of democracy and socialism had been made apparent. The only way for nations to grow and thrive was in accordance with the ideals of the New Dawn Revolution. Since the Revolution, the Great Leader had been steadily building up Maldoria's economic and military strength, readying himself for when the day would come to strike. Until now the New Dawn Ideology had received little interest outside Maldoria, aside from political fringe groups. It was time for the Revolution to spread further, and the Great Leader was certain that this collapsing state of Alriv was the perfect target. The only problem would be dealing with the Communists in Daritii and those who dared to block their path. But the sheer military might of the New Dawn Revolution would triumph.

Talius, Capital of the Armed Republic of Maldoria
The Great Leader himself gave a speech from the balcony of his Leader's Palace, officially announcing to the populace that the time had come to prove their glory to the world. The Great Leader announced that he was mobilising Maldoria's military forces for war. Their objectives were simple, to invade the territories of Alriv, crush the Daritii and other decadent socialists who stood in their path, and bring the glory of the New Dawn revolution to Alriv. The Great Leader issued a public warning to the Socialist Republic of Daritii, withdraw your troops from Alriv, or be crushed under the military might of the Maldorian New Dawn.

Back in the Leader's Palace
The Great Leader nodded contendly to himself, the mobilisation of the army had begun, the state news were running all-day editorials, whipping the populace up into a patriotic frenzy behind him. If the Daritiians did not stand aside, they would be crushed, as too would all the other foreign forces. The Alrvian Junta would be overthrown, and replaced with a New Dawn puppet state, loyal to Maldoria.

The time had come, the only question was how much blood and how much suffering would be required to finally resolve the question.

UKS will support their allies the UMU in this conflict again the Junta, and any other foolish nation who dares try to lay their imperialistic hands upon the lands of Alriv. F-16s take off from our territory and help the UMU secure the skies, while more aircraft are prepared for action within the (OOC: not RL) week. Sanctions have been placed on the regime, and will also be placed upon any imperialists who wish to take advantage of Alriv's weakness.

Although we have very different Ideologies, I am willing to come to a compromise. We both face a common enemy, which would be the military junta. They refused our offer to bring them Hyper Democracy. Their ways of ruling are highly unacceptable. So, to get straight to the point, here's my proposal-

-Alriv will have three parties after they're defeated: the Hyper Democratic party and a Communist Party, and a Democratic Socialist part
-We will both work as a mutual ally despite our massive political differences
-we will give the Hyper Democratic party, the Democratic Socialist party, and the Communist Party an equal amount of power

Our aircraft carriers launch bombing raids and paratroopers to attack enemy port cities, Airports, and anti aircraft, and coastal defenses.

We reject your puerile and pathetic threats. There is no such thing as good or evil, there is only what represents strength, and what represents decadence. Power, or failure. Communism wherever it stands, including your foolish nation, represents nothing but failure. I am currently in the midst of mobilising the greatest army the world has ever seen, the Army of the New Dawn, to fight. This will be the first time our forces have been unleashed against a foreign enemy. Let me be clear. Stand aside, or Daritii will suffer greatly in casualties. Our goal is the liberation of Alriv from the decadence of the Imperialist Communists and other foreigners, and show them the only true way to glory, through a New Dawn State.

Maldorian Coast

The transports are now ready, and the soldiers and vehicles are boarding. The escorts are prepped and ready to escort the transports to the coast of Alriv, where they will disembark and begin the campaign. The biggest potential problem facing the Maldorians, operating overseas and far from home as they are, will be the likelihood of enemy air superiority, so the army will have to make use of it's mobile SAM and AA batteries to counter-act them.

As the ships draw away from the quay, the Great Leader sighs contendly to himself, it was time to test the effectiveness of the New Dawn Army, years of military build-up and training, would all be put to the test for the first time.
