The Gliese colony receives Hober Mallow, and one of the supervisors pull him over to a private place, and asks him how he feels about his trip. He seems desperate and tired.

At that very moment Diaz stands and fires a 6 shots from his pocket revolver aiming directly at marias head, from outside the gunshots are heard and diaz family members begin to break there way into the compound.

The Stasi, observing something happening where the Diaz family is breaking into a compound, one agent approaches, still far away, with cloak activated and a rifle in hand to observe through the scope.

Maria smiles while slipping to the floor. One of the bullets manages to strike her ear. The loyalist guards now turn their rifles in the Diaz family.

The riflemen pause for a moment. Maria takes aim from below the table, hitting his ankle, triggering another round of gunfire.

Diaz falls to the ground and quickly presses the detonator causing a large explosion and a large amount of shrapnel to fly through the air (nails, sharp peaices of metal, ect.)

Maria throws her arms over her head, taking shelter. She receives injuries from shrapnel nonetheless. The guards, lacking adequate protection, are studded with shrapnel.

Lilya allows her conscious to fly back to it's home on Saturn, leaving a little left in Maria's mind as an anchor, while she passes out.

Thank you, Antonio, for making this so much more easy. I'd hate to have ripped out those guards' memories. Would've been really messy.

After the explosion many Diaz family members surrender as swat teams raid the households many bases and are taken to court and trialed for Terrorism and corruption of the government system. Maria wakes in the Rio international hospital completely confused about the recent events but a sure thing was that her lower left arm took a bunch of shrapnel shredding it and the doctors began the operation to remove her lower arm. The sons of Syndikat slowly fall back into hiding as well.

Lilya makes sure everyone stationed in the area that night was a verified loyalist, ensuring the scene is set upon by people who will not betray her secret. Just to be sure, she removes small details from some of their minds, such as the fact that the violinists were armed with rifles.

She then re-inhabits Maria's body, and tells her story - the Diaz family smuggled weapons into the meeting, and attempted to murder her.

Mallow was flabbergasted. He rushes for the Raptor, and it takes off swiftly. He ponders what this man said. Is this man really right? If so, what does this mean for the Foundation!

Another agent working within the hospital is put on duty.
He is to monitor Maria. It is arranged that he will serve as her nurse and will be prepared for "Order Cherern" at any given time.

Maria woke up from the surgery that was a total success but out of nowhere remembers that the Diaz family tried to kill her the previous night, her ear is also wrapped tightly and is planned to be replaced by a new ear regrown from her own skin cells and her arm will be replaced by the most advanced prosthetic known at the time her room is also gaurded extremely well.
