I already had troops in them BEFORE they were given to me because they were socialist union states.

Russia is the worlds largest producer of natural gas.

Oh, but I don't need any. I can get exports from all other countries . . . And when I have Norway, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Latvia and St. Petersburg, I'm sure I could find some oil.

I fully support any attempt to halt Siberian expansion.

Nothing personal, just don't need a massive looming threat above me. Also, I have a far few resources. Not as much as the Siberian Union, but enough to share with allies.
